more cpu power by editing registry?!!!

I found a registry string and i think that my device is much faster...i did it that way
Hklm/software/toshiba/settings/powermanager/
Cpuclockspeed default value was 18 I put it up to 28
And that hack
Hklm/software/toshiba/settings/powermanager/orginal
Cpuclockspeed default value was 3 I put it up to 5
And i got the feeling that my device is much faster....no waiting when someting is loding etc
Can someone confirm...is there a software to watch the current cpu speed?
You know with this configuration you can brock the phone?
Think what are you doing before change cpu registers.
lol @ the guy almost doubling the values from the dark , not even trying 19 instead of 18 he wants to go big
as for the topic ... if thoose values really had somthing to do with ur cpu , ur phone would be pretty much dead by now
get some benchmarking apps like GLBenchmark or JBenchmark
this RUNS!! i can't believe this!!!
y tried 20 and 3 cpu mode.
and runs faster mofre fps on a benchmark
after 80
before 160... this runs!!!!
( sorry my inglish ajaja )
default value with low cpu speed ---> 2
default value with mid cpu speed --->12
default value with max cpu speed --->18
for the test i change the value to 20 and 22...
i think anyone over 18 doesnt change anything. i tried glbenchmark...no improvment^^ and 18 is the default cpu speed at "max"

[Q] xt720 best flash file ???

hey
how should i know the best version of sbf file is ?
my current flash file is
STR_U2_03.20.1_SIGNED_UCASHLSTABB1B4DEMA039.0R_USASHLSTBRTRU_P012_A013_HWp3_1FF.sbf
but i got little noise on my pictures that i got in the dark place , and my xt720 running little slow , plus discharging fast .
i dont know exactly my cpu clock speed is. bytheway my phone is root and i got many apps on it but when i load some games on it, after close the game it takes few sec to show icones on home page , at first i thought that came from my speed clock and i installed the cpu over clock program on my phone and make that up to 800 and 1000 mhz , but that problem still exist . i wonder how can i fix these problems .
For speed bump install JIT and overclock to 900-1000Mhz. Also you can install Launcher Pro it is way faster then stock Launcher.
thanks , i didnt find jit to over clock , i installed setcpu but i cant over clock more than 720 could u drag me a link for jit ?
Look for "Milestone Overcloack" at the Android Market.
for JIT, you have to modify your XT720. just search with google.
i find jitter.apk from droid forum and i guess it belongs to droid phones could i load that jitter on my xt720 ?
Mine is
STR_U2_01.18.2_UCASHLSTABB1B4DEMA033.0R_USASHLSTBSTARSG_P016_A013_HWp3_1FF
For those who do not recognized, it's original StarHub ROM with 550 MHz clockspeed.
I flashed my phone back to SG StarHub ROM last week. After that, I run the update to download and install the 17.9 Mb update. it's bundled with 720MHz module, new QuickOffice app, DLNA, Voice Dialer and new Weather Widget.
after update. it's as same as the latest ROMs available. plus that I enjoy no unwanted keyboards, (and original StarHub logo on 1st Boot )

[Q] Hold Back to Kill/Best Method for changing DPI

Double whammy question. Is there any way to enable hold back button to kill current app on any rom? I know that it's on most AOSP roms and Viper rom but I'm running King Cobra and miss it coming from AOKP. I would just use viper rom as it's the better rom between the two imo but currently changing the dpi causes system ui to fc and I need my 200 dpi, 320 seems huge and ridiculously wasteful after being on 200 for so long. On Viper it's 320 or nothing, no 241,240,200 or 192 (tablet mode) just 320. I usually just use root explorer and edit the build prop but that kills system ui. Unfortunately so does the app "lcd modifier pro" I know they all essentially do the exact same thing but maybe there's an app out there unbeknownst to me that tricks the system into thinking the density has been unchanged while actually allowing you to change the resolution. Any feedback is appreciated.

Way to clock more than 1 core?

Is there a way to clock multiple cores on a stock rooted kitkat ROM? Apps in the play store work but only change the primary core.
You can manually overclock cores
But apps like tegrak and antutu will help alot
Its clear that you want to play gamd which youbare not able to do it writeknow.
But if you are rooted. Then in syst.folder there is a file named build.prop
Open it and edit the line saying
Dalvic.vm.heapsize = xxx
Dalvic.vm.heapgrowthlimit = xxx
Increase theaw values and you will find a good boost in applications.
But REMEMBER THAT THE VALUES ARE LIKE DESKTOP RAM GROWS IN MULTIPLE OF 2 OK SO 68 , 96 , 128,256 only this type of valies can be used for good boost.
If you like it hit thanks dude

Question Is it possible to get low DPI on most apps, while having default on things like Tiles.

So i really like the DPI at 200, it means I can see more than 4 lines of a text message and dont need to scroll for days to get to options in most apps, but having the GW4 on dpi 200 is a mess, the tiles are just shrunk down and attempting to work in the top left quarter of the watch while sometimes elements from them(like weather) will try to centre making things overlap and ruin the visuals.
Is there any way I can have my low DPI without having janky tiles? am I just choosing bad DPI numbers with the ones I have tried and that is what is causing it? Preferably id like to be able to choose the DPI per app but I assume that isnt possible
Let me put it this way. You use android smartphones for some time, right ? At last 8 years, right ? Have ever seen in any android phone dynamically adjusted DPI per app ?
I'm not sure if it's possible to change DPI per app via ADB, but you should be able to decompile each APK and manually set the DPI in Android Studio. It could be a lot of work if you want to customize a lot of apps, but it's an option if it's important to you.

Click to collapse
I am not shure if it is move in the right direction. Lets say you rework app to 100 dpi BUT display will still work in 200 dpi. So the visual will be distorted.
This is not Windows where app can set display of the monitor to required resolution.
I don't know per app but you can increase or decrease all on your SW4.
