i tested the oneplus camera(both the v8 and 2.0.0 version) from the link you gave and compared it with the oneplus camera from this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...s-5-camera-port-redmi-note-4-7-0-t3656125.The best of these 3 is the oneplus5 2.0.0 version but iso on the pro mode does not work.If you have to choose between the oneplus5, the moto g5 camera and the google camera,google camera is the best in my opinion.Also,i have a sony sensor
It depends on your camera sensor... Photo or video, And how you take photos, manual or point n shot.
Mine is omnivision, I just care about still photoshot, I never record video. Then I don't want to mess with manual mode. So, the best mod is google camera hdr+ and snap camera with LLM mode.

I installed google camera and it worked. Not perfect (Front cam and few functions do not work) but it works.
But i did not install camera2api. But i am in resurrection remix. Maybe i do not have to install it?

No need to enable camera2api or.make changes in build prop . That is required only if you using official miui . Custom roms comes by default with camera2api .

NOT a exclusive Magisk version, it's system flash:
- Magisk provide portrait option on back camera (see above)

BTW, (a noob question) what's the difference between Gcam and aosp original cam? I can't figure why people is preferring the first one!

It was Working great with PE Extended, but after taking some selfies, the camera process the pictures with a blurry filter (only with front camera), it just doesn't work anymore.
Moreover, you have to adjust the shadow saturation in order to take vibrant pictures.
I appreacite the 3000*4000 resolution.
I try the 5.025 new version.

Camera for testing the night mode.
Android 9 only.
Portrait does not work, ordinal shooting and ZSL HDR not work too.
When you turn on the front camera or slow crash.

Installation Procedure
Install Gcam from given link. (don't open it)
Go to settings/installed apps/Google Camera/Permissions (Give all persmissions) Enable System Modify Permission.
Now, Open Gcam/settings/save config./"Save a config by any name"
Go to your storage, Gcam/Config/And delete your config and paste the one which i have provided
Open Gcam "DOUBLE TAP BOTTOM BLACK BLANK SPACE" It will open a popup asking you to restore config/Select my config "TheSam.xml"
Fully restart the app (remove from recents)
And Magic has happened and everything is working.

Hmmm checksums of arnova latest and yours matched. So what changed not giving credit for others work is frowned upon in Xda mate and that config is virtually default

Thank for letting me know it bro, what i did was i installed many different developers versions around 15 and configured to make it stable. and tested each one. Then created a stable config, I will update the thread.

LOL slo MO works only at 120fps and no video cam crash here anyone can do it. It doesn't need development thread mate. Close this thread mate. I can say I tested all 24 devs gcam in that site and have configs for many of them. Does that mean I am a dev now?
I want to clear this guys, This is not a copy or any stolen work. I have given the credits to @Arnova8G2 in the thread and i configured it according to our device after testing it for hrs. If y'all keep replying that it is not working or you are stealing work. I will soon delete this thread i don't want any attention or anything. But atleast respect someone's work. This cameras from 6.2 to the latest one keeps crashing randomly when taking pictures at sunlight when processing hdr+... Sometimes works, sometimes crashes. Tried clean flash and everything you can imagine.. Samsung sensors. Same problem anyone?
These are the same as bulkin's Gcam Mods which all crash on Note 4. He even said he dropped support for the device. Instant crash after taking a shot on Syberia Latest Android Pie.

I'm tried every gcam from 6.2 to the latest 6.3 mods, they crashes taking pictures at sunlight randomly. I'm not using modules, mods or extreme customization in my Mido. Plain LOS, I'm not using any Q version of gcam

do a clean installation of any pie rom and then install gcam. after that reboot your phone

I tried that many times, there is another problem as there are other users having the same crashes as me.
