Hello everybody, I ported my first custom rom for Karbonn A16. It's called MediaModV5. It is Android 4.4.2 based custom rom with Marshmellow UI. You won't be disappointed.

How to install:

Since the camera driver on Nougat is broken on Nubia's outdated open-sourced kernel, this build is using a prebuilt kernel from the stock ROM, which means:
* No F2FS support - You may need to full format your partition back to EXT4 if you're using F2FS (remember to backup, or you'll lose ALL your data)
* Since I have no way to tweak the touchscreen driver in the close-sourced kernel, you may usually touch something near the edge of the screen by mistake when holding the phone
* No way to disable the touch keypad, so no virtual navigation bar
* No way to swipe the navigation keys as well

These features are not included:
* Wechat fingerprint payment (do it really useful outside China?!)
* NeoVision camera (would be a standalone flashable ZIP soon)

Same problem here.
The only way that I got signal is with 6.0.1 based roms...
With android 7, no signal response... tried everything.

Tried on 64GB + 6GB Black Gold version. gives "ERROR-7 - Wrong base firmware." After flashing your Radio Zip (upgrading radio firmware) it doesn't have any network signal. phone connects to the WiFi but doesn't connect to the cellular network.
There`s an error with Rom`s updater script file (ASSERTS). Can you please fix that ?

tried one of the early nightly release and I had no problem at all, but now I'm stuck on "FBI WARNING - WRONG BASE FIRMWARE"
I tought maybe a problem related to the TWRP beacuse I'm using the old 3.0.2 with "Stalence Tool" instead of the 3.0.3 from XingRz ( aka chenxingyu ) also the link from the mokee website.
I've to try as soon as possible ....

It's not recovery related since I have tried both the recoveries. It's a Rom issue. Anyway I'm using official Resurrection remix and its freaking awesome.

Hi, after trying RR (it is soooo laggy...) i give mokee a try. Mokee is so fast an complete different to RR. At the moment i am happy with MK7.1.
Yesterday i tried to install the latest nightly MK71.2-nx531j-201704160728-NIGHTLY.zip . But after installation i had no signal because the setup installs a chinese baseband. So i reverted to 7.1.1.
Where can i check, which baseband is included?

Thanks mate. I have found out the problem and its kinda not possible for me to unzip-edit-zip every time I update so I switched to RR and absolutely love it however even RR bricked my phone due to some magisk issue which apparently affects only locked boot loader devices only. Awesome folks at forum.gizchina.it helped me with edited file and its working like a charm.

I saw that the T-Mobile version has screen mirroring and that is not an option on my phone for some reason. If anyone could provide insight into that problem that would be helpful. Thanks

I'm not sure at I have only T-Mobile version. But you can give it a try, its not going to break anything.
Take a nandroid backup in TWRP, wipe the existing ROM and flash this and test it out. If nothing works, just restore your backup using TWRP.

yeah there was a minor bug in included kernel, adb devices would show "device unauthorized" with previous version. You don't have to install it it again if you are not bothered with that issue.

I think you should improve the English speaking.
Are you using the latest version of GApps or the old version ?
If using the old version immediately update to the latest version. And do not remove the Play Store, because if you delete the application then you will not be able to login google account.

PERFECTLY WORKING on my little Samsung (SM-G130M). I downloaded your work, did some research and finally took courage and dared to install it. Everything happened surprisingly well. Thank you so much! :laugh:

Post update: Few of months after i installed this ROM my phone passed away. I do not think that it's had something to do with this ROM particularly but since i'm still being a newbie here, if you have the same phone that i had last year and you wanna flash this on your phone please try to contact Ivan_Meler or someone who has a better understanding oh this kind of subjects than me. Has anyone tried this on the SM-G130HN? I do not exactly know the differences between the two variants, but I assume, they can't be too different, right?
EDIT: Worked flawlessly, haven't experienced any negatives since flashing this ROM.

I do that, but with same results. (green arch...) PAC-ROM do go, but go to slowly. For this reason I need clear Lineage at least 13, or another help for 14.1. Wipe not help. Can I have functioning link for download clear Lineage 13 ?

Update 07.02.2021:
Fixed RIL
Fixed GPS
Fixed deepsleep issue
Fixed many selinux denials and switched to enforcing
Made builds for hltechn, hltekor and hltetmo
I will push this via OTA and AFH.
It's a huge difference now , unlike previous build there is no more lag and stuttering , basically everything that was wrong is now fixed and enjoyable . There is no more UI glitches (black square) as well. This is definitely daily driver now
Congrats to the developer for this huge upgrade and awesome rom!!
Still testing installing apps will update my post if I find anything else

-Will LineageOS 19 official version be available for Galaxy Note 3 ?
-Currently I have LineageOS 18.1 OFFICIAL. Do you think it's worth to install this ROM?

You have to ask LineageOS for this, some one twittert to me that it won't be the case, but I can't confirm this.

Yes, but you simply could create a TWRP backup and test it by your own .

And as I said I have LineageOS 18.1 now, should I do full wipe too or it will be okay not to wipe?

I would recommend to do at least a factory reset and wipe system!

Thats hard to say for me, I've never used LOS18.1, just bought this device extra to bring Android 12 up (Because I got asked).
Maybe someone could report if it's better or not.

Thats the same on all devices with disabled navbar, I will give you the opportunity to enable it completely soon.

I've noticed low sound from speakers (when on max) ,could you increase sound volume a bit in next build or if u can share mixer path ( something like that).
