So I am kinda new to this stuff. What I did was I had twrp on my moto g xt1032 and I tried and OTA update and it didn't work so I had to delete twrp by flashing a recovery image from a firmware file I downloaded and what it did was delete twrp and I was able to update my moto g to 4.4.4. But now whenever I go into recover there is a android robot laying down with red exclamation point and saying no command. From there I can get into another menu that says wipe data/factory reset or delete cache partition or update from adb/sdcard and reboot now but how do I fix the recovery?
I want to be able to go into stock recovery of moto g and how do I fix this? Wouldn't the update have fixed it? It didn't. I have searched for moto g xt1032 stock recovery but I couldn't find anything. So is there a way to fix this without doing a factory reset? thx

Do you both have a custom recovery try the following. For twrp wipe section format data type yes. Reboot system if it says no os you will have to flash stock ROM through fastboot . sometimes with moto g file system everything gets messed up entropy512 was talking how he hates this file system for this reason. Be warned this will wipe all your stored info.

Hi guys Ive put myself in a real problem
I unlocked my moto g bootloader, and super user, tried to install pac_falcon-nightly-20140328.zip with gapps,it was just stuck at that screen.
So i went now back into TWRP-2.6.3.3 factory reset everything, now i dont have the rom on my Moto G Ive manged to wipe everything....
Please could somebody help, when i try to push the rom with adb. I get this error "device not found"
Can i go back to normal ?
thanks all who reply to me cheers everyone
A factory reset will not bring back your stock rom.
When you flashed PAC you replaced the system partition.
Try extracting the boot.img from the PAC rom .zip and flash it through fastboot.
You should ALWAYS create a nandroid backup of your stock rom before you flash ANYTHING!
I recently flashed 5.1 Lollipop on my Moto G, after that i went in recovery mode( by mistake) and tried to reflash it through the zip folder which contains the OTA file http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/rom-retail-stock-rom-captured-ota-t3192870
after some the screen displayed installation failed and my mobile went in fastboot mode. I tried to do factory reset and even wipe cache partition but now i am unable to start it. I went to service centre and they are telling to change motherboard.
I request to please provide solution to my problem.
Hi guys, I have stock falcon 5.1 on my moto g and recovery twrp. I just received an OTA update and now i've got bootloop. If I reboot system from twrp, the phone boots but after few seconds it reboots and twrp comes again. How can I stop this process?
I know i made a big mistake, but now how can I solve this? Wipe cache should work?

Try to wipe cache n dalvik cache...... by before mount all partition in twrp.....
My phone is being slow lately so I've decided to do a factory reset. I own a Moto g xt1032. I did some stuff with ROMs but they didn't work and I gave up about that.
Whenever I try to factory reset via settings my phone shuts down and goes into some menu (forgot the name). I have the options recovery factory barcode etc. But my phone didn't factory reset or anything.
Then I read I need to go into recovery mode and choose to wipe everything. As always whenever I try to start recovery mode it just says "boot up failed"
I just want to reset everything and I don't need to backup as I don't really have anything special on here.
Thanks in advance
Are you still running a custom ROM? If so, a factory reset will not put you back to stock - it will only remove personal data - because ROMs modify a different partition. If you want to return to a factory state, you will need to flash a stock rom. I would flash these stock zips through recovery, for which you can get downloads and install instructions from here.
