[OREO OOS beta] Do not disturb tile Magisk module - OnePlus 5T Themes, Apps, and Mods

For those of you w/ big thumbs who can't easily peck through a case to flick that little switch:
This mod is based on the first oreo beta. It will not work w/ official, and will not be updated as I have moved on to a custom ROM w/ a full set of Android's intended features
This is a hack job. Apktool can't properly decompile resources on O's systemui yet (true of pretty much any phone right now i.e. Pixel). I baksmali'd and replaced the vpn tile with a do not disturb tile. So....don't use this if you use the vpn tile. I will do a proper tile when apktool catches up.
Friendly reminder: Do a nandroid

First ....Hahahahahahahaha !!!

[MOD] Customized framework for stock ROM

After getting a bit angry about Motorola's decision to not to enable and allow people to access the multiuser mode, I've decided to customize the framework and touch some more things. Don't hesitate to suggest any other modifications that you'd like me to do.
WARNING: This is ONLY for stock ROM.
Features:
- Decreased the minimum brightness from 5 to 1.
- Decreased the dimming brightness from 10 to 5.
- Enabled multiuser support.
- Set multiuser limit from 1 to 4.
- Allowed all rotations.
- Disabled the annoying "turn on screen if unplugged from charger".
How to install?
- Download from attached files.
- Transfer to device.
- Flash in recovery.
Download from attached files.

Hihihihi, it isn't framework-related. This is just a trigger based behavior placed in the sysfs.
Just take a look to this app: Moto LED for Moto X & E [Root] (it works with our devices too).
oho..ok i know theres an app but i was wondering why they have built a led light and has not given any options or made it work.. ok..
Any chance for moto actions? This is by far the biggest drawback I've found on this device

I would be able to mod it but what more do you want? I found it completely perfect.
Just tell me what is it lacking or what should I add .

Quick question,
Are these features already available on stock Lineage OS for G4 Play (which squid is developing)?
If no, it would be very great if Lineage OS has these features. Maybe OP can contribute(patch?) to Lineage OS?

Google Pixel Launcher - Google Now with no root, works with Knox (Secure Folder)

Yesterday, AmirZ posted a Rootless Pixel Launcher on Reddit that manages to bring the full Pixel Launcher experience with Google Now tab to all phones without root required.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/6gn8f9/rootless_pixel_launcher_port/
Like all other ports of the Pixel Launcher, it did not work on Knox (Secure Folder) enabled phones: App crashed, app drawer was blank. However, the source code was available as Android Studio project and I could debug the code ... and managed to add two lines that made it work on my S8.
You got no idea how happy I am right now.
I'm sure AmirZ will add the two lines to the project together with other bug fixes within the next few days. If you don't wanna wait, try my version, available at
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1wrGoe5e9-EWlF5SVUzMDFoOHM
Update: AmirZ added this fix in version 1.3. Head over to Reddit to download the apk / sources.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/6gn8f9/rootless_pixel_launcher_port/
Make sure you uninstall this and any other Pixel launchers before installing the Launcher3.
Awesome ! was looking for this for so long ! Thank you !
If you can do it, I have two requests.
1. Could you change the accents to pixel blue ? (The slider on the right when you open app drawer)
2. Can the background on the app launcher be changed to dark / black ? I think that just works and looks better on the S8
The color was already changed in the version 1.2 on Reddit (but does not include the Knox compatibility yet). I'd hope that 1.3 does include my bug fix.
Someone really need to keep this updated, implement Android O sources, etc. This will not be me though since I have no clue what powerful magic AmirZ used to get the pixel launcher / google now working in non root. I'm terribly unqualified to do any real development on that ^^

Yes. I'm fairly certain this all is based on AmirZ's hack and we will see many more launchers adding the Now pane.

The latest git versions by AmirZ do work with Knox. You need to make sure to remove all previously installed Pixel launchers (select another launcher as standard before uninstalling all of them) and then install
https://github.com/amirzaidi/Launcher3/releases/tag/Pixel-v1.4
If it force closes in launch, just delete all cache and app data for Launcher3 from the settings. It should work. My Knox fix was implemented in version 1.3.

Awesome appreciate the update! I don't think i tried the latest thanks
thanks for that, it runs very smooth and no issues. the only thing I'd like is to be able to make the icons a bit smaller. Is that possible at all?
Dude this is awesome thank you!
There is a bug (or feature) that prevents proper AMOLED power savings on the top of the launcher. You will notice that while applying any background which is black up top (which AMOLED should turn off) there is still active pixels (in a dark room you can see this as a thin bar on top of the screen - kind of like light bleed). I have notified AmirZ of the issue and hopefully he can fix it.

[ZIP][Flashable][WIP][OPP3] O-DP3 NEXUS 5X PIXEL MOD

This mod is outdated! Here's the new one! https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/themes-apps/zip-o-dp4-nexus-5x-pixel-mod-t3648080
THIS IS A PIXEL MOD FOR THE NEXUS 5X RUNNING ANDROID 8.0 (O-DP3)
I've been working on a Pixel Mod for the Nexus 6P on Android O. Android O has changed up a number of things and APKTool is mostly incompatible with Android O APK's (Which is necessary for the Pixel Mod). However, I've been able to use some workarounds and have ported most features over except for the Navigation Bar and the new "Double Tap to Check Notifications".
I don't have a Nexus 5X to test this, but the work is the same. So I've created the same mod for the Nexus 5X. Because I don't have the phone to test, feedback would be much appreciated.
I have stock Android O apps such as the clock and camera for those who are trying this mod on Nougat. However, I'm guessing that this mod won't work on Nougat. Everything but the Framework-res.apk should work. But Android O has changed the framework-res.apk enough that it may cause a bootloop trying to use OPP3's on Nougat. So if you're on Nougat and try this, definitely make a backup first!
What's Included:
-O-DP3 Pixel Launcher W/ Wallpapers (Make sure to grant notification access for notification badges)
-O-DP3 Clock
-O-DP3 Pixel Audio
-O-DP3 Camera
-Pixel XL 1440p Boot Animation Blacked Edition (Thanks to Luthepa1)
-Pixel Blue Accent Color :good:
-Night Mode
-Round Icons
What's Missing / Being Worked On:
-Pixel Navigation Bar Animation
-The New "Double Tap To Check Notifications" Feature"Android File Host Download Link: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298973606

I had also problems with my camera after dirty flashing this mod over another. No problems now after a clean new install

Yea, that's actually mine:laugh: I just released it yesterday. I was working on getting the 5X out today. But it seems like it works on the 5X too huh? That's interesting. I would be concerned about a bootloop due to the framework-res.apk. But if the 6P and 5X have the same one then it'll flash fine. Also, check out your icon shapes with that mod. I added round icons but if you want the stock icon shape, I added that under "Stock Nexus" in the icon shape settings

How i achieved the pixel nav bar with animations (no root)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.damianpiwowarski.navbarapps
Use that app and set the static colour to black
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.axndx.prithvee.pixelnavbar
Then use this app and get the buttons placed correctly.
This isn't perfect and sometimes the nav bar has a mind if it's own but works in most apps
It also has the pixel animations
Also the nav bar has the be locked in the "up" position
Also I'm using cornify free in this pic
When I make this and I see duplicate navigation icons (one from the app and the original from the OOS launcher), I try every setting and no luck...

Yeah so u can adjust the buttons in the pixel nav bar app. Make them sighly smaller than the oos ones. For me the oxygen os ones are the "outline" and the pixel ones fill in the space.
See this pic. The light gray is oos
My settings
Thanks with moving one over the other it works. But I thinking of rooting my phone not waiting for OOS Oreo update. And make customization a lot easier!

Well I had the animation without root. Still using this guide.
Try to use telegram with Navbar, and see what happens when you use the keyboard and try to attach something to the message
Guys, sorry for the request, I'm not very skilled in the programming but I guess it's easy to create a flashable .zip that substitutes only the icons of the OP5t navbar with those of the Pixel, without animations. Would someone do it? It would be a more elegant solution and without the horrible gray edges that you see using the play store app.

Its actually really easy t get the pixel navbar.
If you use substratum. Just download awesome navbar and press pixel and install. That's it. For nougat it requires root, if ur on oreo beta it does not. (Only adb)

I do not use substratum, I had tried a xposed module that did not work very well, so I had come to the point of wanting a flashable .zip like the old times on Nexus 6p. I will try substratum, thank you very much for the advice!

Working Substratum themes

I'm creating this so hopefully people who want to can share which Substratum theme they're using/used.
I'm running AOSP and so far have only used Flux. It's a great looking theme but would be interested in trying new ones.
If you choose to share be sure to include which rom you're running.
And if applicable please share any special directions. ***Someone just helped me apply a theme. The actual instructions were a little different than the one the app tells you to use.
I am already on OB32 and i have working since months the following themes:
- Swift black ( System and overall third party apps )
- PitchBlack ( Everything )
- Ozone ( Yep, even without updates i use this theme only for the quick settings rows of 5 )
- AOD Digit Customizer ( Works great for the ambien display, i changed the 1 number to blue )
- AospUI Black ( System and overall third party apps )
Those themes are the ones that i have on my substratum.
Have a great day

Which ROM/ROMs did you apply these themes to?
Here's where it gets confusing to me.
Regardless of whether we're running stock, AOSP, Los etc. we all have to flash Oxygen OS firmware. Does this cause any conflicts?
Example-- if it says 'Oxygen OS not supported', but I'm running AOSP on my OP5T, does that mean the theme should work?

Yes, the themes should work. I've tried all of those themes on multiple roms, and they all work. Some are better supported than others, so there may be some icons that aren't themed, but overall they should work on any ROM aside from Oxygen OS.

These seem to work well on 9.0.8, even navbar is themed, and QS tiles can be edited. We all know by now the wrong theme can soft-brick your device, but these are solid and worth the money and gotta support the devs
Aether - edits QS rows, columns, and changes position of the clock
Ethereal - is a dark theme with pastel colours, but themes navigation bar, so I'm only using add-ons that theme system icons, QS, status bar.
SwiftDark - provides dark theme to apps, white backgrounds are blinding.
AOD Customizer - Speaks for itself
