Please need some help on stuck on boot huawei Y635-L21 :/

Dear xda community
My phone is as I mentioned huawei Y635-L21 , quadcore qualcomm snapdragon(1.2 Ghz * 4) processor with 1gb ram and 8gb rom.
let me tell you what happened. I recently rooted the phone with Kingroot(latest version). and I installed xposed and it says there is some problem with the rom and I did just as I saw in this forum to activate xposed on huawei phones by checking the option as I saw on xda forum. till then every thing was going fine until I installed xposed module and did some twiks. suddendly when I rebooted the phone it froze at the huawei logo. then I reset the phone and I was able to boot properly, I unistalled xposed this time the phone was doing fine until... I tried to make mx player a system app, when I was doing this.. and the screen becomes dark and the phone did not respond, I shut the phone and when I powered it, here we go again... back at the frozen logo . reset won't even help now!
the phone still has it's default recovery and locked bootloader, so I tried to update the software with "Huawei Y635-L03 and Y635-CL00" but not working(they are Update.app format). I will try with my version and let you know but If you have any Idea what to do with this and any suggestion will be welcomed , and what flashtool should I use?

Has anyone found an alternative way to root the Y635, apart from Kingroot?

Download DC-Unlocker from website, follow all instructions, pay £5.00 or so to get your bootloader unlock code, will tell you on there website how to get this, use Minimal minimal adb & fastboot or search web to unlock Bootloader, hey presto.

P.s if you install Philz Touch Recovery 6 for the Huawei Y635 also through Minimal ADB & Fasboot after unlocking the Bootloader it gives you the option to install SU binary and root the phone in Philz Touch.

Thanks for the reply and info.
I already did that a couple of months ago when DC-Unlocker had a special offer to unlock all Huawei phones for free. It's Sim unlocked and I have the bootloader unlock code ready for when I bother trying to root it.
Not gotten around to rooting mine yet because it's not so terrible out of the box, it's the first time for me not to root a device within a couple of days of purchasing it, which says how good the Y635 is to not need to be tweaked so urgently.

P.s if you install Philz Touch Recovery 6 for the Huawei Y635 also through Minimal ADB & Fasboot after unlocking the Bootloader it gives you the option to install SU binary and root the phone in Philz Touch.

I've done similar before with TWRP and CWM to root several other Huawei models, but never tried Philz Touch Recovery yet.
So did you actually root a Y635 using this method?

Yes I did unlock bootloader & root this way as Huawei are pretty useless giving out bootloader codes via emails, I probbably got the only custom rom available atm for the Y635 which is the CarbonRom Cm11, google it, its on a spanish forum i think, runs very smooth, no problems, even changed the dalvik to ART runtime, lol, as for Philz Touch Recovery 6 again no problems at all, but yes it asked me if i wanted to Root inside the Philz touch, p.s Kingroot & Kingo root do not work either through APK or on Windows, tried & failed several times.

*Even if it did work, I don't consider Kingroot an option for rooting anything, it's a nasty way of doing it...

SM-J327U(nlocked) variant - unlocked bootloader, what now?

So I just picked this phone up from Best Buy, it was cheap and unlocked. Already have it working with a T-Mobile SIM. I'm somewhat new to Samsung devices, but I'm pretty sure this means it's an unlocked bootloader too.. In Developer Options there is a switch for "OEM unlock," which allowed me to flash TWRP built for the SM-J327P, ending up in a nice bootloop.
Anyway that's not the point, I used Samsung KIES to reflash a stock image and it's back to normal.
Assuming this bootloader is unlocked, what do I need to flash to get root? Does this mean I have to build TWRP myself?

if you want twrp refer to the user ashlyx she is a recognized developer here on xda and she may be more than happy to build twrp for your device. I have the cf_autoroot for your device you can flash with no problem. i will give you the link.

You can use J327T one for some strange reason the j327U one doesn't work but if you just boot up into that one it should give you root

Can i flash this firmware on the j327T to bypass Google account FRP just like you can flash SM-950U1 firmware on the SM-950U to do the samething? Just a random thought.

New device : Gome K1

Hi,
I am a little new and don't really know about this subject but :
I purchased a new phone : a Gome K1.
This is not tablet but phone. This is a new brandt. This a MTK (MT6757).
For the story, it came to me with chinese ROM, all menus in chinese
I asked to the seller to give me a ROM with playstore and french. They done it.
I flashed their new ROM with a proprietary flash tool. Now I have a android 6 ROM with Playstore, french menus. Well !
But I'd like to know if there is a way to root it, and install a TWRP :
The ROM came with bootloader locked and no recovery. It is entirely blocked.
No way to unlock bootloader via the general way (fastboot oem unlock --> unknown command)
I read some articles that deal with spflashtool and porting TWRP, but I'm new to this and I don't think I will be able to make all these steps correctly to flash a TWRP ...
Does someone has an idea ?
Is my post on the good topic ?

Yes I tried everything, after enabling unknown source, OEM unlocking and USB Debugging developer options :
- All root apks
- all existing root kits using ADB
- Method with a linux distro to access Phone filesystem as root ( cannot see my phone ... )
Now I'm trying to use SP flashtool last version, but even that cannot correctly access the phone to Readback my recovery : there is BROM error, so I think that phone is not compatible with the phone (seen on a forum ...)
So if someone has an idea, he is welcome

When I contacted them, they send me a non rooted custom ROM which embed Google Apps and All language, AND another flash tool.
This flash tool seems to be based on SP flash tool. It seems to have restrictions (no readback ability ...).
I'm not able to backup anything with this tool or with SP flash tool.
Whis spflashtool, when clicking ReadBack, I power off my phone, and plug USB cable.
It begins the process but I immediatly encounter a BROM error :
ERROR: status_brom_cmd_send_da_fail (0xC0060003)
I read a post which indicate to try to plug usb cable when pressing Power plus Volume Up, but I don't think it can work, because I know that their tool works without that operation.
So now I'm still stuck here. Does someone have an idea ?

On the Russian forum 4pda, the topic GOME K1 we are also discussing and trying to solve the problem of a locked bootloader. So far no results. ROOT is also not yet possible to get.
I've also ported twrp for GOME K1, but there's no point in installing it until the bootloader is unlocked. Otherwise we will get a brick.

In Developer options there is a setting to unlock bootloader, it's the third toggle down.

No, it's not working. This switch does not affect the boot loader state.

I was successful in flashing custom ROM that vendor uploaded for me.
So I thing I can flash just the recovery with their tool. I'm not an expert, so I'm just a little affraid to follow a guide to port a TRWP for Gome K1 and try to flash it, since it can brick the phone.
If you want, I can't send you a copy of their tool they sent to me (SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe) ...

Thank you, but I already have this tool. As I wrote before flashing TWRP we need to unlock the bootloader. While this is not impossible to do. But one of our users on 4pda is going to ask the manufacturer to unlock bootloader. In case of success, I will inform you.
If you want to experiment and flash TWRP with a locked bootloader, I can give you the TWRP I made, but I warn you, it's not safe.

We were unable to contact the manufacturer and the moderators of the official GOME forum do not have this information. At the moment, there are no solutions to this issue.

could you please post here what is the procedure you took to flash the rom. Seller sent me with multi language rom. i want to downgrade the rom to its original one. I used your tools in the windows 10 lap. and also in the windows 7 lap but it was useless. I am going to try the procedure in the windows 8.1 lap. can you tell me exactly how you flash your phone with that tool ?

but have some issues with my new Gome K1 >> the GPS doesn't work proper for Google Maps / Waze, it doesnt show accurate position most of the time, but it seems work well with "offline GPS" (but offline GPS most of the time not able to find location that I ahead for meeting). Any recommendation/solution?

After some time ... is there any news about his root? I wouldn' t like to change the rom, but just do the root thing would be useful ..... tks

i've disabled the google app in the settings and now the phone is stuck on boot logo... any ideas how to fix this?

How can I get back to G955USQU5CRIB firmware. I think I may have rooted too early. Sprint didn't unlock the phone yet and I'm unable to flash to verizon.
My original plan was to flash from Sprint to Verizon so the phone could be used on that carrier. However, I'm stuck with Sprint software and the phone, although rooted is still locked to Sprint.

hello. thanks for this, saw the video. i am currently downloading the root zip file. but my question is that on the video, the guy used 7.0 android and mine is 8.0 CRIB october 1 patch. pls will this method work for me? i dont know my type of bootloader, but i remember trying to flash twrp in the past and i get fail! auth error. anyways, pls will the method from the video work?

The bootloader version is the 5th number from far end of your current firmware 3 or higher cannot be rooted and the only method is partcyborg rom
there is no downgrading or nothing
if you have to have root get another device
you cannot use cf auto root or flash twrp as we have locked bootloaders
if the bootloader gets unlocked then yes cf auto root and junk will work then

Yea, I've had it for so long stock, just upgraded to s10+ and decided to just keep this as a secondary because it's still solid, no a single issue
(long time root user, webOS, epic touch 4g, then all even galaxy S devices) root was so fun!

No im still on a revision 2 bootloader but it's pretty much the same now with the option of installing stock Oreo pie. Or rooted nougat

More than likely no. I swapped system images a few times. Kinda like dirty flashing and it worked. But errors begin to pile up. One can try. But more than likely user data will be corrupted

Yea, that's what I figured, if I had a better internet, I would start messing around, it takes forever to download anything for me, out in the cuts.. I like to have my Stock firmware files ready to go incase I need to fix a soft brick or something..

Will I be able to install the Stock Firmware? Which one I should install? is installing European version a possibility? (i.e. SM-F907B or others) or I will run the risk of bricking the device?

I would like to do the same too, tried to find info on this -- but nothing much on it. Does the Euro one also seem to get more monthly patches?
While I note the PDA is the same, we're one month behind on the patches as we speak. Also, Korean bloatware is annoying.

First unlock its bootloader. Select OEM Unlocking from Settings → Developer Options, then reboot to Device Unlock mode to actually unlock the bootloader. This will have the side-effect of resetting the device.
unzip the downlaoded file and flash through odin. and then install Magisk application for root.

I turned on OEM Unlock from developer mode. And tried to install this by Odin but showing error oem lock. Please explain how to unlock bootloader? I select unlock oem from developer mode but it showing error when trying to install by odin

and
"Custom Binary (vbmeta) Blocked By OEM Lock" for AP.
What can I do now?

How To Unlock Bootloader of Samsung Galaxy Fold
Open your device settings and head towards the about phone section
There click on the built number for 6-7 times until the pop up shows “You are a Developer now”
Now in your smartphone’s settings open Developer options
In the Developer, option menu look for the OEM unlocking
Switch the OEM unlocking ON and switch off your device
While switched off try to reboot your phone into the download mode by pressing and holding the power and volume down button for sometime
Once in the download mode, long-press the volume up button, this will unlock your bootloader
Now if you wish to install a custom ROM on your device you have to bypass the Vaultkeeper security, to do so go through the initial setup
Enable developer options again from the settings, and verify that the OEM unlocking option still exists and switched on! The VaultKeeper service will automatically remove the conditions from the bootloader after it verifies that the user has enabled the OEM unlocking option.
Now your custom firmware will be installed easily and your bootloader will be unlocked finally.

Not working for me. In download mode when long press volume up key nothing happen

I am able to install this rom but it is not pre-rooted. and SM-F907N has no twrp so i can not install magisk in it

I am able to install this rom but it is not pre-rooted. and SM-F907N has no twrp so i can not install magisk in it

did you install magisk apk?

i need the global version to use Samsung pay anyone has a way to do that ?
