Smart Stay from GSIII

I tested and confirmed that this app works on Hypersensation CM9 and should work on AOSP builds as well. Pretty neat IMO
I'm sure a lot of us saw this on the xda portal when the forum was down for a spell lol. Beta testing ends at the end of June I think

try it on MIUI v4 (Sense-based) rom. No any reaction at all. Try to change some settings but it didn't help.

give a reboot ..once installed it should work
its working fine on sense 4 ROM (IC evolution )

Same with me, OS doesn't work either. Even in reboot.

I enabled it and you have to turn on the accessiblity option in settings. Shut the screen off and turn it on again. I didn't need to reboot.

Nope...still don't work. **** it. Didnt. Need it anyways

Is working in Eye candy. Enabled notification and screen time out of 30 seconds. When looking at screen eye is open all the time. Turn phone away and eye closes shortly. But if I turn phone back on me, after about 10 seconds eye opens back up and screen stays on.

which version is working for the sensation? theres so much versions and mind telling which rom you use OP?

Both DL links are for a Gnex fix. Where is the DL link for the actual app? Or, did I miss something simple?

Mine does this, but the screen doesnt turn off or on. Just the animation?

I am using the 1.0.3a. The "b" doesn't work for most phones. Accessibility needs to be turned on. Then turn the screen off and on to enable it. I had to reboot the phone once because the app fc'd once.

Hmmm..Both are the A version and neither work for me. Maybe my Ffc is faulty? Which kernel are you using?

Im using the AOSP Bricked 3.0 kernel.

I think it's the second one. The one with the Gnex fix didn't work for me either.

Install, turn on accessibility and turn on the app, notification, and debug. Turn off the screen and turn on the screen. :fingers-crossed:

Doesn't work here in insertcoin evolution 2.0.0 bricked 1.31. When trying to start fc's.

with my sensation ordroid 9.0 and bricked 1.31 i get "no front camera detected"

works perfect. although sometimes it doesn't know i'm right in front of it . but it's okay, because it still beta. tested on ARHD. thanks for sharing

Sorry if this is in wrong forum. I was just wondering if anyone else uses the dock noticed how your camera shows things upside down. Is this normal? Every rom I have used still shows an upside down view. Thnx

Yea. Mine's upside down also. Never tried it till now. Doubt if there is gonna be a fix for that unless they fix and replace under warranty.
Known issue. Have to turn dock upside down. Kinda sucks. Even though visual is upside down picture video will be right side up.

I have the ibolt car dock. I use it every day. My screen is fine. I'm running Beans 14 now, it worked with jellywiz and stock route 66. Now on that note I have show home screen display checked in dock settings and auto rotate screen checked in display settings. Hope maybe that solves your problem. The only problem I have with it is that if you have a large 4x2 widget on a screen it will cut off the bottom row of icons. I just moved my nav button up a row. The other complaint is I wish the in call sound would play through the car. Everything else works great. Been stupidly driving around watching college football on it on Saturdays, lol. Good luck.

Have both checked. Works fine as long as charge cable not plugged in. Plug in and both cameras flip.

Anyone notice that the charging on the ibolt is pretty bad? Have it plugged in with music and nav, and its actually draining slowly. If a plug in another charger, it charges fine.
Note that audio is being fed through usb.

Verizon replaced my phone due to issues with 5.0

I had so many issues with the upgrade from alarm clock not working, phone getting hot to missed calls due to phone going straight to voicemail that when I called Verizon they decided to replace the phone. I asked for one with the KIt Kat OS and got one today. Phone working like a champ again. Yes, I did the cache clearing and did factory reset twice. My phone just didn't like the Lollipop. Anyway, it's an option for those that are having issues.

Not really only until Google releases a patch for the issues that some people have been experiencing. IN the mean time I can use the phone as I need it. If it works for you then be happy about it. I shouldn't have to use workarounds to use my phone.

Id take the update again. Surely the same issues aren't present in your new phone

I didn't have any glitches with my phone, but I didn't like how Lollipop handled the notifications in Silent mode (no notification light.) So I ODINed back to KitKat. That, and if I understand directly, Lollipop runs in ARTS, meaning no XPOSED when rooted, meaning to Root Cloak (which I need for the Softcard app.)
The official Lollipop is not for me, but I'll keep an eye out if a talented developer can "fix" these issues in a custom ROM.

Not sure and not willing to take the chance. I was missing too many calls before. Yeah, I could have used Odin and gone back but I took the easy way out. Frankly, my days of messing with the phones are over. Did the whole BB and the earlier Android rooting on Evos and other phones but I'm getting tired of doing that. I was a flashaholic for a long time trying different OS's all the time. The S4 was my last playtoy.

I've found my battery life to be dramatically high now that I'm on LL. I may go back to KK as well unless someone knows of a way to correct the high battery use

I've also been experiencing some issues with the Lollipop update.
•high battery drain;
•phone sitting on table w/screen off, picked it up to find it overheating and was failing to cool itself down; had to pull the battery;

I went back to the old phone and I'm trying to make it work. Did more factory resets and it seems like the phone is actually ringing and allowing me to answer calls now and I'm getting notifications again. Maybe the 4 or 5 resets finally took hold. The replacement phone was bugging the hell out of my trying to force me to download 5.0 every time I used it. Going tp play with it a few more days before I return one of the phones to Verizon. Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.......

A new Xposed that work on ARTS is currently under development. Viper4Android incompatibility is a major reason I went back to KK.

once its all settled down i feel 5.0 is awesome if you like the changes.. uf u want to stop update nags then you need to root the device and freeze certain apks

Cool, that will help greatly. Maybe an XPosed module will also help with the notifications too (my issue is the LED in silent mode not working, but I think I've seen others having problems with no alarms or anything in silent mode either. Not sure, never tested that before going back to KK.)

I understand that. Lollipop's battery is great and @elliwigy ROM'S battery is damn great on lollipop. I only need amplify and greenify if I use xposed on lollipop which is more GREAT battery! Lol.

oh and my new rom is going to drop.. i believe its uploaded 100% but im downstairs drinking ha ~600mb and ton of crap removed and deodexed with all jrkruse mods he posted baked in, removed vzw splash, added google keyboard, removed boot sound and more to come..
either way, should be able to do everything as on kk (xposed n all) here soon enough. L is awesome in my opinion.

Nevermind, it seems MIUI doesn't include Daydream which is required like many others do.
Maybe it can be added? I have root & Xposed but no idea yet on how to achieve it.

Hey mate, I installed this & the plug in, gave it overdraw permissions as requested but when I go into settings the app tries to show a preview but all I get is a black screen, I've tried upping the opacity & other settings but to no avail? Does it show on yours?

I see the shadow on video and on my phone. The shadow may be by design. I'm not sure.

That seems very different to the 'jelly' effect in the video I posted earlier.
I use the dark theme so can't see any shadow normally, but even changing to the light theme didn't show any issues either.

it's just a animation, when you are in the end, drag and hold to top your finger to see it

If you're referring to the "arch" shadow that appears when you scroll all the way down or up, it not jelly scrolling. It's been like that by design. I think even my 1+3 &1+3T had it.

If you're referring to the "arch" shadow that appears when you scroll all the way down or up, it not jelly scrolling. It's been like that by design. I think even my 1+3 &1+3T had it.

I did some deeper digging on to the "issue" and I guess you mean that the text will seem to rip apart and refresh at a different rate on some parts of the screen led's, therefore showing as it's kinda stretching when you scroll fast? Yeah, that is there, but I don't see that as an issue. I really, really had to stare at big black letters on white to see the effect. But I really don't see it as an issue, at least it isn't a deal breaking one. The phone flies and mine's got 256 GB of storage. So you were right, but c'mon.

I think that this is the "jelly effect". The screen is Oneplus 3, shot on my Oneplus 6 (480 fps).
