930F in the US (T-Mobile)?

Anybody bought a 930F from eBay for use in the US? Do you change the firmware with Sammobile images? If so, what image do you use?
To clarify, I know the 930F will work on T-Mobile in the US, will run with the T-Mobile LTE bands. My concern is the language differences in the firmwares (if it exists)-- what do folks do to make the phones more US English friendly?

All you need to do is change the Language to English US and your done!
I have the stock Hong Kong firmware on my 930FD and that's all I had to do!

When you boot up your phone for the first time select English. Only issue with the unlocked version is no Samsung Pay.

the only reason I went to United Kingdom from Panama firmware was because U.K had the March security update and Panama has not gotten it yet.

download odin and go to sammobile com and install the latest turkey or nordic firmware, they are both security april updates

Need stock firmware for 930w8

Can anyone of you share me a link to download the latest stock firmware from the canadian variant of the samsung s7? I need the one ended with D3 (bootloader). Thank you alot.

N920PVPS3BQA1 update

If you have package disabler pro installed (version 6.3 or below), do not update. Back up your current disabler settings, uninstall the disabler, install N920PVPS3BQA1, then reinstall disabler version 6.3. do not update it from the play store as it will prevent you from disabling certain packages. The newest version is 7.1.
if you currently have version 6.3 installed and update to N920PVPS3BQA1, the disabler will not be allowed to activate until updated from the play store to version 7.1, which doesnt allow disabling sytsem updates and a few other items.

What android version is the update 7.0 ?maybe

I'm trying to find the article that was on Yahoo! news the other day; it said that it was confirmed that the S6, S6 plus and Note-5 would get the update by end of this month.

I don't know if this is true, but few days ago I read about an update in android 6.0.1 with grace update for note 5, and yesterday I receive poll from samsung asking me about note 5 and the possibility to sell this device.

I'm running this with twisted note kernel. Is there a Hotspot fix someone could point me towards?

Google App is causing a lot of Problems on my Galaxy S7

The Google App, when enabled, causes a lot of problem on my Galaxy S7!
1. Whenever a device sends me a file via Bluetooth, the notification won't show up until the connection fails. Well, sometimes it will show up, but it takes ages;
2. Apps on play store won't install. It downloads up to 100% then stops. It resumes installing when I close Play store in the multitasking and open it again;
3. Software update won't open. It sometimes opens but takes ages.
All of these problems are fixed whenever I disable the Google App. I already did a factory reset and it will also fix it but when I update the GApp to the latest then everything is messed up again. Anyone who can help me with this? Thank you in advance!

That's great! Although I wonder how this will be fixed. I like using the Google App. Especially Google Assistant. But this kind of bug sucks!

I'm not sure why you're having issues with the Google app... Google & Google Assistant are working perfectly for me - No issues downloading apps from the Store or with BT file transfers. I'm running Resurrection Remix 7.1.2 r_24 07.
Are you running Stock TW or a Custom Rom?
Have you tried a Factory Reset?

Hi! I am running stock ROM and I've already tried factory reset twice. There's also someone who's experiencing this and he replied to my thread link that I put here. Maybe this is a problem for the G930F variant? Not sure. But anyway, thanks!

Have you checked to see if there's a Firmware update for your variant - The Canadian variants received an update the middle of June (since I'm running a Custom AOSP / LineageOS based Rom I got the update from sammobile.com) - Since you are running Stock TW - Have you contacted your Carrier... They may have some more information on your issue?

The latest update for UK BTU is last April. I'm not sure if this will be fixed if a new system update will be rolled out but this is not happening during the last versions of the Google App. So, I was thinking this really has something to do with the app's update. I hope this would be fixed with its coming updates.

Yeah I just checked on sammobile.com and you are right UK BTU had it's last update in April - Other UK Carriers had an update in June

It looks like you might be getting an update for the Google app in the near future - There's a Google app beta available on apk mirror if you're interested in downloading it - just make sure that download the correct version

just for the record. i have a 930F with stock firmware and latest updates (PHN). Besides the above problems. i also had delays in notifications, and the badgecounters in my nova springboard were way off.
Al of this dissapeard after disablinb the Google app

The problem started 3 updates ago and is still there in Google app ver. 7.4.21.21
For me when updating the Google app Tasker tasks don't trigger and widgets don't update. Besides that system go into slow mode and for instance installing apps take forever.
Going back to the factory installed version solves the problems and system run smooth and fast. (but then I can't update to the latest version of Android Wear because it requires a newer version of the Google app).
Hope they solve the problem soon.

That's exactly my app version too and when uninstalling all app updates and returning it to factory version solves the problem. However, I don't like it. So, I have it disabled. Hope this will be fixed soon. Thanks for your info, mate.

I just tried the latest update of the Google app (7.6.17.21) and on my devices Tasker and widgets still lag big time. Luckily it still runs smoothly after uninstalling Google app updates.

Hmm.. I'm glad that I disabled the Google app from day one I got my Samsung S7. That was just because that stupid program forced to use a long presson the home button, while I wanted that long press for other purposes.

S9+ and snapbridge app to connect to Nikon d850
I have an S9+ and the snapbride app to connect to my Nikon D850, the app is only able to connect thru Bluetooth but not wifi when switching to a wifi connection via app to camera and phone. Are you staying that the Google app can be the cause of this? I've done everything to try the establishment wifi connect between app, phone, and camera (D850). Can the Google update 7.26.13 beta for wifi connections fix this? I don't want to download and mess something up or can this be a simple update that will fix my problem? Can anyone point me in the right direction, thanks in advance.

How ironic, first phone to get nougat and the last to get oreo. Meanwhile pie is out so you're a little late LG.
Anyway how does it perform for those of you that took the leap?
I'm not too terribly excited to upgrade to oreo unless performance is at least equal to what I am getting now.
My note 3 got slower and slower with every upgrade.

Too early for me to tell about performance. Home touch buttons now shrunk down to a more normal smaller size. Now looks like my wife's G6, very good.

Still ARB1. I have been trying to get the OTA off my V20 for a bit. It is downloaded but I can't seem to find it. Already tried every folder in /cache/ with no luck at all.
