A little bit of salt water splashed on the phone, cleaned it and kept it somewhere safe... when i was going home, i played music and texted for a while, it showed an error "An exception occurred during reboot......." I noticed an abnormality in the led light when i plugged it to charge... unplugged it, switched it off... and put inside rice till this morning... i charged this morning for some minutes, led light was normal, but still showed the same exception error. i switched it off to charge... it came on itself. i switched it off again... now it wont boot up, its freezes at the gionee logo... and when i try to charge... it's stuck at the lightning charging logo that even if i remove the charger it doesn't go off....
pls any professional who has come across this issue before should help.... don't know if its hardware or software problem

Hi all,
Got a Touch Pro, that is not happy today. plugged it in to charge it overnight, and thought no more of it.
Woke up this morning and overslept, its alarm didnt go off. not good.
Alarmingly it wont turn on unplugged from mains, and plugged in again... the touch pad does its white glowy cycle thing it does to indicate a charge, it loops that 3 times and then stops.
When i power it on it says warning! battery level too low! and then switches off again.
I left it on charge for 30 minutes, and tried again. the same thing happend.
Any idea whats happend? never had any issues before, is it a duff battery? or am i being too impatient in regards to its charging?
Im at work now, and have no mains charger. will it charge via USB ok ?
stumped, been on charge via usb all day, still no life.
If i plug in the cable, sometimes the camera flash blinks for a second, and then tried to post, (and then shows the battery error and shuts down)
it will show the charging animation (on the centre button) 3 times, and then stops.
If i try and post the phone without a battery, it shows the post screen, and then keeps resetting / recycling itself, with no error messages.
I have exactly the same problem!
Please HELP!!!
I think i found the Problem!
The little Backup Battery for Date/Time etc. is low!

today i woke up like any other day, turned on my Infuse after having a fully charged battery and after doing my morning routine i went to work. on the car i did a random screen unlock, and lock (just to see the battery level), but when i get to work my phone didnt turn on; so i removed the battery thinking it froze, and when i tried to turn it back on after re-inserting the battery nothing happened. i tried plugging into the charger but nothing happens (no vibration, no bottom lights). when plugged into wall charger, after a couple of minutes, (the right side of the back camera) starts heating up for no apparent reason. plz anyone knows whats wrong or any ideas???????
Hey guys,
a few days ago I accidentally dropped an HTC One E8 in water and obviously it doesn't work anymore. Before buying a new one I wanted to ask, if some of our "HTC experts" may have suggestions on what else I could try before giving up.
The situation: I dropped it in water, didn't turn it off (dumb, I know) and it worked for around 10 minutes until it powered off. I left it in rice for a day and it didn't turn on or charge. At this point I nearly gave up.
I left it for in rice (about 48 hours) and - the orange led was flashing while charging. Even the screen turned on and it showed a charging symbol first and after a few seconds it showed a red circle and a white exclamation mark. After some time I could power it on and the touchscreen worked and I could use it, but it still was around 1%/0%. The screen flickered, but it was usable. I wanted to plug it in my computer then to rescue some data, but 5 seconds after I took it off power (to switch from the wall charger to my PC) it died.
Now I tried it to power it on for like 2 days, but with no charger connected nothing happens and when I connect the charger, the orange led is on constantly. I tried power/volume- and power/volume+, but nothing happens. Not even the charging indicator comes up, the screen is completely dead.
Are there any steps to try before giving up? By the way I don't want to disassemble it
Thanks in advance
Hello there
Today i finally wanted to start my sony xz premium again after having trouble getting it charging, possible usb c port damaged.
I got it charging for 20 minutes and was going to check how much it charged
When I saw the phone I noticed the green LED was on so I assumed it was fully Charged.
After trying to start it up I didnt do anything no vibration no Sony screen.
After reading how to force reboot it I tried that and it wont do anything.
Before I try a hard reset I wanted to ask if someone had the same problem or any idea how to get it running again?
(Currently it is in a salt/Rice bath cause im assuming liquid inside)
Update after letting it in the salt/Rice both for 2 hours the green Light dissapeared
But now everytime I try to Charge it,it stays on the charging picture but without any prozentuale showing.
After 5 min it will try to start but keeps getting stuck at the Sony Logo.
I got it charging with an 0% Indicator so probably will let it in the salt/Rice bath longer
I just bought a Galaxy S8 online, no apparent damage or even scratches, but it arrived with 0% battery and connecting it to a charger, at first, brought up the charging "ring" with lightning bolt, but no numbers or other indications that it's charging. After about 15-20 seconds it would go black, then back to the same screen. I tried to do a hard reset but that just made it bring up the first boot screen that says "Galaxy" in the middle and "powered by Android" below. This screen is now flashing on for half a second, going black and repeating about a 2-second loop. It also vibrates each time. I think there's supposed to be an LED indicating it's charging, but if so, mine's not coming on
Return or try replacing the battery.
now its not showing anything i think i over charged it gonna take apart now
You can't over charge it. If the battery is dead it will not boot even with the charger; insufficient power.
well it wa stuck on charge and flashing white and now dead to rights no lights or nothing lol
Battery failure if you're lucky.
Return it if possible.
