Apps to Home Screen - Samsung Gear S2

Hello, I have been looking and have not found the information I am looking for. I'm hoping someone can help here.
Is there a way to bring any of the apps to the home screen? Also is there a weather app I can download and use on the S2?
Thanks

Yes, look through the Samsung store. There are plenty of watch faces that allow you to link your favorite apps to the watchface.

Is there a way to use the LG Health feature w/out using the LG UI?
Just wondering cause I kinda like the feature but just don't want to use the LG UI.
Yep download the launcher of your choice then get the app "any cut". Go to short cut and then go to activity. Find LG health and create shortcut.

Awesome app! Just what I've been looking for!
if you use a launcher like apex or nova you can just install shortcut to home screen without downloading another app. or i have mine set to open with a gesture.

The thanks is there. Thanks! You can also disable knock on with this app. If anyone finds another shortcut in there that they think is useful post it up. I went through and didn't really see anything else.

Its almost what i was searching, the only problem is that it lacks icon packs most of the one that it has are too fancy for me. Bellow is a photo comparison of the 2 widgets, in my opinion SIW has a better appearance.

[Completed] Quick Actions for Android?

Is there a way that you can get the Quick Action feature from the iPhone 6 on Android? I'd like to be able to hold down the Twitter icon and Tweet from there. Not sure if this is possible but it sure would be cool.

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
If anything, that would be a custom launcher feature, using apps that support it. The site has launcher threads abound, just need to find your favourite, and then ask for this feature, assuming it is possible.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Not without root. You need Galaxy labs which comes only with the s7 or custom s6 roms.

Can't you use a launcher? Surely there has got to be a dodgy launcher in the play store that mimics this awful and annoying iphone feature?

Editing preloaded watchface

Hi I would like to ask if it's possible to edit "this" (image in attachment) preloaded watchface. This one is my favorite but unfortunately there is no possibility to set it up to show date. Any ideas or similar watchfaces? Thanks
This was my favorite as well and i also missed the date, so i created my own watch face (picture attached)
Called G-Dashboard in Galaxy Apps store (hope its available in your country)
Thank you very much for your reply, but unfortunately it's not available in my country. Could you send me apk? Thank you

Its not working:/ maybe you can tell me in which app you create this watchface and I will open this file through this app and resave it.
You will need to use Gear Watch Designer http://developer.samsung.com/gear/design/watch-designer
Attached project file that you can open in GDW and then edit/install on your watch

I agree, this is a great watch face. Can the alternate time be set for Seoul Korea?, the date be added and an altimeter added too?
Not tested yet...
But maybe GWD 1.4 Beta have Weather support... lok at changelog...

I know I'm replying to a 5 year old post but I just figured out how to change the widgets on the stock watch faces directly on the phone, without an app and am I sharing it in case anyone lands here from a search.
1) press on the watchface until the watchface switcher appears.
2) swipe to the face you want to edit and tap customize.
3) swipe left or right until the widget you want to change is highlighted, turn the bexel to change the widget, on the Gear Dashboard watchface there are many options available including weather and date.
