Acer Iconia Tab A210 comleate reimage - General Questions and Answers

I have an Acer Iconia Tab A210 which even now don't want now to go into the boot menu mode after I applied some crappy TWRP boot.
I had before CWM which was working fine, but something went wrong and I decide to reset it. I wasn't able to reset it in normally and I finally format /system, which might be was my mistake.
Then I've installed KiWi but still won't pick up any image. Then install TWRP and now even don't want to go into the boot menu mode.
I did all that because I was not able to upload the image using USB or using the sd card. At the beginning /I was able to adb shell then I lost that and now adb cannot recognize it as a device.
Each solution which I can find on the web is with broken links either the img cannot be downloaded or some other part of the solution.
Please, if anyone knows how I can do a complete reimage of the tablet. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Mike

Try hard-reset about 8-10 times.

need help installing clockwork and tnt

hi guys, I am new to this forum and I just purchased a g tablet today. Because of all the reviews and info that I found here is why I decided to buy it. Now I am stuck trying to install the clockwork and tnt. I've been following to the t the instructions posted here and I even was able to convert tnt from .rar to.zip but I can't do crap!!!
is there anyone that can help me? Is there anyone here from Miami that has been able to do this and can help me out? I can pay a few $$ for your time and help.
thanks,
Frankie
if you get tntlite 4.4.0 just copy the update.zip into the root of the internal storage. make sure you are on the right stock rom 1st.
from there make sure you have a file in your internal called recovery it should have the command file in it (if it isn't in there you can ether make one of copy the one he has packaged with 4.3)
from there reboot holding the + vol and it will flash tnt lite 4.4
now as for CWM recovery.
once tnt is installed factory reset (trust me this will make things easyer and more stable)
go into the google market and get the terminal emulator
once you have this installed open it and throw in these commands.
SU
(this is for super user rights press yes once super user appears)
cwmrecovery.sh
(this command will execute a script that will load a flash tool and install CWM recovery it will only take a few seconds to flash)
from there you are done. i know it is backwords for installing recovery last. but sad to say this is how i did it. TNT lite has integrated a copy of CWM and the vanilla recovery and the dev has added a pack tool for being able to switch between these two recoveries.
okay! it's been 2 days playing with this g tablet and I am about to slamm it to the ground!!! I really don't get it! I've followed the steps one by one exactly how it is described in this forum and in this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865245
And I've had no luck at all! it is still factory set. I can't even find the markewt or the Google Services Framework at the applications settings menu.
What the hell am I doing wrong here? please some one please help me!!
Thanks,
Frankie
well!!! finally I got it working! everything is installed! the only problem I have now, is that when I connect it to my usb cable, my desktop won't recognize my g tablet and the tablet says: usb debugging connected with the android logo. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

[Q] Stuck booting up in Clockwork?

Hey everyone,
I just got my Dell Streak 7 today and rooted it, it wasn't working right so I did a factory reset on it and now it will only boot into ClockworkMod Recovery. I tried a bunch of things but nothing seems to work.. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Just an update..
My computer can't even recognize the device, I can't mount the internal or sd card.. Even if there is a way to return it without voiding the warranty (since it only boots in clockwork) that would be appreciated..
Thanks
did you find a solution?

[Q] Acer Iconia tab A1-811 Bootloop

Hi all:crying:
Description :
A1: The system.img.gz you applied, wasn't suiting to the firmware version installed on your tablet. Download latest Acer firmware update, copy it on a micro sd card, plug it into your Iconia, go to recovery by holding Volume up and Power button while device is turned off. Then choose apply update from sd card.
A2: If you cannot apply any Acer firmware, because you always get a partition error while installing, you should do a reboot after you get the error. A user reported that this made her/his device boot into Android again, showing the new version in settings -> info. Good luck
A3: If the A1 and A2 didn't help. Send back the device to Acer. Tell them you tried to apply an update from sd card and ended up in this bootloop. Sending device back to Acer over UPS is free. Good luck!
I failed root my AIT A1 and now im trapped in bootloap (my fault,RTFM fail.) I try find somewhere *.zip with official FW to apply it back trough recovery. Got any one advice how solve this issue? On acer.com is nothing usefull.I know how fix but cant find files witch i need....Ty for your time and LINKS...or Ideas

Have you unlocked you tablet? If you have, why not use a custom recovery (TWRP for example is a powerful yet simple to use recovery)? If you haven't, then it was a bad idea trying to root your tablet.
Please reply so that I can help.

I have similar but can still go into recovery. In recov the internal sdcard won't mount, so I just think the memory is fried...
Unless you're prepared to solder stuff or replace the MB I don't think there's much we can do...

[Q] I get error flashing acer iconia a1-810

Hi
after rooting my acer iconia a1-810, tablet keeps locking screen after 0,5 sec. so I can't enable usb debugging and I can't install different rom with Acer Iconia v0.8.1 toolkit
So i tried install different rom from system recovery, but I get check.partition.size=[__PROP_UNDEFINED__] error,
maybe somebody know how to fix this error ?
This error like error in rom file. In this situation you can help rom build author. Or needs more details.

I installed RV18RC07_WW_GEN1 rom from [ToolKit] Acer Iconia v0.8.1 page, first I stuck in boot loop. than i tried install update.zip for that rom, during installation proccess I got that partition error, but my iconia after restart booted up, but stuck with always locking screen.
probably I chose wrong rom version for rooting
maybe I can revert that process or install decent rom via fastboot, what do you think ?
after all my screen wasnt locking down, just lights turned off after half sec. pressing volume up and down I kept screen on, and I manage to enable usb debugging mode in menu.
I unrooted with RV18RC07 stock image, but it did not solved my problem.
Can I flash different rom for example stock RV03RC08 over stock RV18RC07 on acer iconia a1-810 ?
check it maybe will help, good luck !
I bought my Acer A1-810 it’s 2,5 months (from amazon). And few days ago I decided to root it. 1 hour later i realized that was not a really good idea, because i did not know much things about, and it was not as easy as I thought. and voila as a result : bootloop !
I tried different roms, different update.zips but got allways the same error : ” check.partition.size=[__PROP_UNDEFINED__] ”
I was desperate…I was at the point of resend it to Acer for repair. But last try was successful, I did it, I did !!! And there is how !
1. go to acer web page --->support--->drivers and manuels
2. choose your model acer a1-810
3. As my divece was bought in usa, my FW upgrade is AV052.RV26RC06.PA.CUS1 (in O.S ), download it !
4.when it’s done, you should unzip and should get update.zip separately.
5. Put update.zip on SD card
6.Put SD card in your device.
For next steps see the manuel of update

I did as you guide ...
The upgrade is success and i press power button for reboot. After that my tablet is dead. tried following all of Acer's recomendations (vilumeup button + power button, popping battery out, hold power button in and then insert charger, stick a paperclip in reset button hole, etc). nothing works.
My tablet image version Acer-av052-a1_810-rv03rc08-ww.gen1 Please put the Flash file to it in this post thank
Hey did you by any chance find a fix for your problem? Cuz I'm having the exact same problem and I can't find any solutions anywhere.

[Completed] [Q] touch not working, cannot flash img .... bricked tablet?

hello everybody...
i have a (spanish jazztel) i-joy 10" tablet, cortex a7 quad core.
i made a mess with titanium backup and when tried to recover factory settings i realized that i had screwed the recovery data.
system would boot up, tablet would work but with many errors and "stopped working" pop ups.
i looked for a stock rom just to find out there is NONE in the WHOLE INTERNET!!!
then, googling here and there i read about some compatible roms, from allwinner, kalley and other chinese brands.
i downloaded all img files i could find, i flashed them correctly with phoenix usb pro, one after another.
first two worked well except for the cameras, that wouldnt work.
then i tried ICOU10GT firmware, flashed correctly...but touch DOES NOT work, i cannot go any further from welcome screen since the touch screen is not recognized.
i am 100% sure is not a hardware problem, all physical buttons work, screen works but not touch.
since i cannot reach the "enable usb debug mode" option i cannot flash any other img.
when entering recovery mode, if i choose update from adb the tablet is not fully recognized by windows (driver says device cannot start).
i´ve tried sd burning with phoenixcard but doesnt work either, tablet doesnt boot up from external sd card.
is there any way to recover this working-but-bricked tablet?
please help!!!
------------------
if there is not....is there a 100% safe and sure way to commit a "perfect murder" with the tablet to send it to post-service and being able to claim "it just stopped working" and them not being able to see i flashed it? i guess you know what i mean.
