Is there any way to use nfc-sim on the Global version?
I tried to modify the NFC config file at /system/etc/libnfc-nxp.conf , it's useful on the China version, but on the Global version will not work… Thanks!

I would hope to buy an H60-L12 for use in the UK (need to double check the bands would work with the 3 network).
I was wondering how much I could change it to English? I read somewhere if I root I can change the build.prop and that could help? Or would I need to get the stock apps from the international version as other people have requested?
Is there a stable rom multi language rom which will work with the NFC and IR etc?

i have an Honor 6 H60-L04,
i'd like to install an indian ROM on my L04, (Indian model have regulars updates)
I tried many indian ROMs (B540, B550,...) but it don't works (bluetooth bugs, no eap sim, no keyboard)
i can install the B550 ROM with the 3 buttons method, it finish with success but lot of bugs.
Is everyone knows witch files i must change / modify to change my EU phone to an indian phone

Select network info query, then select vendor country info. Note the country info. If the country mentioned as eu then
Root your phone. And go to cust/hw folder. Rename the folder name "normal" to "eu". And restart. Now you will get indian version.

I have the global phone running dual SIM and latest Android 11. The SIM tray supplied is the single SIM but the 2nd slot is active, bought the dual tray from China and flashed the Singapore ex and have dual SIM.

Dual SIM working fine on the single SIM UK unit.
In xiaomi china roms, the application named "com.miui.virtualsim" uses "e-sim". This apk does not work on global roms even if downloaded from the internet Anyone use china rum for poco x3? Can I check if my wife has a feature? is this package installed? I'm using the global version, I don't have it.
So my current phone is dying ( Samsung green screen) and after looking and comparing a lot of phones (on paper using kimovil)
I have decided that the best value for money for me is the Xiaomi 12
But when looking on Aliexpress I have seen that there are 2 version, Chinese and Global
Global version has extra 4g bands (I need 28a and 32) , while CN version does not have them.
If I install the Global official Rom from xiaomi on chinses version device , will this enable the extra missing 4G bands ?

Nope, you will have to buy a global version, but check that it is not a CN version with a global rom.

And that is exactly what I am afraid of that the seller says it is global version and in fact it is just a chinsese with global rom.
