You say you have 8.0 in s6plus of tmobile? With audio call?
If so, it could work in n920t.

There is no harm in trying it. Worst thing is you flash back. Just do a full backup with TWRP and you can restore your phone to exactly as it is now.

Smh? Dude do you have any idea how hard it is to port a Sammy Rom, let alone porting AOSP to exynos? It's almost impossible, so before you slap every dev for the Exynos7420 in the face why don't you try making a FULL WORKING port.

I agree with you. My only beef with the current 8.1 aosp rom for the note 5 / s6e+ is that the camera is buggy. Ive heard a european stock 8.0 exists somewhere for the s8. And ive seen a few s8 ports to note 5 and s6e+ for nougat. Im hoping a dev will do the same with oreo. In my experience the rom works a bit better with the touch wiz framework and samsung stuff installed.
Well. New bug for me. Sim card locks when I change to Oreo Rom. And it says incorrect pin(I know my unlocked code). Go back to nougat and unlocks fine. I fixed this issue in my build. No sim locking
I'm going to try building the rom myself with my zenlte device tree. The 8.0.0 r33 repo is syncing right now. If it works out well and my sim stays unlocked / I find no major bugs I will share it with everyone. Then my next project is going to be porting s8 stock oreo to s6e+ to keep touchwiz
It won't paste the link. If you look under t mobile s6 edge plus and android development I've got a thread there. I released a 8.1 oreo port of lineage 15.1/nexusOS for s6e+ zenlte and zenltecan

I can patch a zip for your device and you can try it if you would like, I know it's noblelte but it need your carrier. I don't do generic roms that flash to multiple devices usually. Each gets a separate zip. Keeps it simple and easier to notice device specific issues.

N920T nobleltetmo Lineage 15.1/NexusOS 8.1 modified port:
https://mega.nz/#F!OX40ECJb!VWK_Io6SkM-tAPCdiaUUsQ
flash all the zips before first boot, if you skip the nfc and no verity it will not boot. super user is needed for background app restrictor to work. and gapps, well we all know what that does. if it works I will create a separate thread for the rom and let other people get it as well. its got some Xdalabs stuff in it. pear launcher and the background restrictor. I try to spread a little love around for the devs on XDA.

It's not the same. From my experience with Kirin platforms, AOSP is easier to get working (since EMUI is based on it).
About the 'near future', no idea, if you want me to talk from my experience, I've been sending Huawei emails since December and I am still waiting lol.
Relax, explore the device, try not to scratch it and wait for the roms.
According to @svetius Huawei is close to releasing the kernel code. It's not everything needed for CM13, but it's a place to start. I'm hoping they are going to provide more than just the kernel, and they provide a device tree and vendor proprietary files as well. I know I'll be trying my hand at building cm13 as the source files are released.

The page itself is safe and the download is valid, I checked the package out myself already.

There is no available lineage 15 ROM available for the K8 2017. They've been struggling to even get a Slim ROM working. (And that's with Dfuse working on it.)

its not normal to go to 99asu right? Welp it looks like it doesn't work for me. After losing a connection once it wont reconnect at all no matter what i do untill i flash original firmware. It just says unknown cellular type out of service and disconnected. Anyone know a fix? Or is it just my phone/sim? Oh well guess ill just use my k20..
Edit: it wasn't my phone or the ROM. Metropcs flagged my simcard saying it was swapped. Just put in my tracfone T-Mobile sim an it works fine.

I didn't know about that. My bad.
I use mine as a media device, so no sim used.
The lineage backup was ported from the Stylo 2 plus I think, so it'll show up as a stylo2 until a new back up is made with the proper changes. (Mainly build.prop stuff)
Anything new on this Rom? Im dying for something I can play with a bit more:laugh:
Your using the 14.1 backup of lineage right?
Yeah, but Oreo has themeing like cynogen of the past. Dying for that sexy customizability.

There's nothing changed for oreo on the source, we automatically created 8.0 branches for all our repos independent of Oreo support for the devices.

You may have to update some Samsung apps for them to work. Also, night mode doesn't fully work (some Samsung apps not included in it). Also, much faster and smoother; however, slightly faster battery drain for me. All the new software is a plus though. The important bugs are similar to bugs on official betas for s9.

I would suggest you using modded odin. I also had an unlocked snapdragon S8 US variant SMG950U1 as well and when I flashed the Odin files for CRK1 my device became a Verizon S8 model SMG950U...CRK1 (no longer unlocked but has bloatware). Once the base model is CRK1, you have to download 2 update.zip files. CRK1 to CRL1 and CRL1 to DRL6.
