EDIT This was solved thanks to fc3211
I currently have no OS, and I can't boot into TWRP. I can boot into the stock Huawei Recovery, but that doesn't seem to do anything for me, as I can't download an image from the Huawei site. I can't seem to find the stock images for BLN-L24. All the links I saw on this site and Huawei's no longer work. I'm able to download the Honor 6X firmware from this site: http://consumer.huawei.com/us/support/phones/honor-6x/ but when I load the file into the sdcard, then follow the instructions and boot with both volume up+volume down pressed, it just hangs there.
Any advice on how I can proceed? What files I can flash? I really am not sure why I get a response saying I am not allowed to boot into a custom recovery. When I 'successfully' flash twrp, it still doesn't actually flash TWRP. My best guess is when I loaded an OS unsuccessfully, it locked FRP somehow and prevented flashing??

Search the forum for "FRP locked" and you will see my posts (I had same issue as you and was able to solve it) and posts from others with similar situation.
Basically you just need to use dload to load the stock firmware for the exact same model and the exact same build that you had before your phone stopped working.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73954487&postcount=240
If you use the files from the wrong build or from the wrong model than you will get error at 5% over and over again.
Try flashing elitetwrp from the Elite ROM thread. I successfully flashed the regular openkirin twrp countless times but would only boot to stock recovery, then on a whim I flashed elitetwrp this morning and I'm able to boot to TWRP now.
Reading on the log that you attached, i see "boot twrp-3.2.1-0-berlin.img". You got that TWRP from official TWRP site? If yes, give a try to OpenKirin's TWRP; it works like a charm. https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/development/twrp-t3583413

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I tried a bunch of the packages until finally the oldest one worked. I've been bricked for like 4 months, and finally tried to fix it again after I lost my S8 on Christmas =/
Great! And I am proud of you that you had the motivation to try each package one by one. It was because you did not give up, that is why you had victory in the end.

Sir I have Honor 6x indian varient on emui 5, past 2 months I have officially unlocked bootloader on my phone and flashed twrp successfully but when I restarted my phone into recovery, it just stucked at the bootloader unlocked page.
Then I found some ways to flash the original emui recovery through some Chinese application, but currently there is no recovery in my phone.
But thank to God that it still has its OS.
My doubt is if I again started to deal with my phone in the way you posted, will my phone can be repaired?? As there is no emui recovery that will install the zip by pressing and holding all three buttons(maybe).

Hello dear forum users.
I am new to Huawei but not to Android, having had (and rooted) devices since Eclair.
Yesterday, (Oct. 1st) I received my TL10 (European version). Looking through these forums I was excited to see that Lollipop had just been made officially available, so before doing anything else I upgraded. As I was on B125SP02 I had to first install B130, then B324.
Now, here's the thing. The rooting guides for Lollipop on these forums are for old stock ROMs and I don't want to risk bricking my new baby. I tried Kingroot, but it failed, so does anyone know if one of the rooting methods here will root B324?
Thanks in advance.

I had to unlock first, which involved various running back and forth to find the unlock page on the HUAWEI site, then finding SN, IMEI and product ID. But I got there in the end.

Well, I spoke too soon. TWRP detects that the phone isn't rooted and proposes swipe to root. I did it and there is a small screen that flashed too fast to read, then the phone reboots, but unfortunately with out being rooted.

Yes I discovered that too after hours of struggling. Now I'm rooted and flashed back stock recovery. First time in these things and I feel proud I didn't brick anything [emoji13] After days of reading everything looks super clear I can root anything now [emoji41]
Still waiting for working xposed version though...
Send from Mate 7 using tapatalk
I got the Bootloader Unlock code and I unlocked my Mate 7 using the command "Fastboot oem unlock <code>" and it showed "done". I repeated the command and it showed "remote: already user unlocked", which convinces me that the bootloader is finally unlocked.
However, when I tried to flash TWRP recovery using "fastboot flash recovery twrp_2.8.7.0_mate7_5.1.img", I still get the same error "FAILED (remote: image verification error)". I have checked the XDA pages and the TWRP version seems to be right, as I used the link (https://basketbuild.com/devs/asyan4ik/hwmt7_l09) given on this post only.
Sequence as follows:
Fastboot Flash Recovery twrp_2.8.7.0_mate7_5.1.img

Is there a separate TWRP version for MT7-TL10 version? If yes, can someone provide the link, please?
This is very frustrating because it's a great phone and not being able to root is very limiting!
Xposed runs but not all modules as the Huawei theming messes with it.
As for TWRP, I don't like it and only use CWM which is what I have in my Mate7.
I tried various ways including moving back to KitKat. That landed me on a bricked device.
I then went to the website of Huawei to download the rescue package. After lot of struggle, I could get the phone to boot.
The Problem: I have been thrown off to a Chinese KitKat ROM (See attached) and no matter what I do, I am unable to flash an official International Channel ROM. The flash fails every time.
I am looking for a way to move back to either KitKat 4.4.2 or 5.1.1 B324 version of Android 5.1.1 (MT7 TL10 Model). If there is no root for 5.1.1, I would prefer to stick to the latest KitKat ROM with root.
Help.

Hi
My X2 GEM-702L bootloader us unlocked. I verified by "fastboot oem get-bootinfo" already.
I prefer to root it using the customer recovery method as I'd prior experience using this method on other Android smartphone.
However at the point of flashing the custom recovery I encountered an error:

C:> fastboot flash recovery twrp_recovery.img

Try renaming the twrp to recovery. img. If not download a newer version of Android Tools.
Ok after trying for several hours on various updated drivers, adb tools etc still no success.
I suspected the X2 though stated as "unlocked" it may not be fully unlocked properly for whatever reason.
So I did the "fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" one more time and after this I mamanged to flash the custome recovery.
Success finally and I've custom recovery now running ! Thanks.

You know what's funny? When I got my second X2 and went into the Bootloader it said it was unlocked. After I did a factory reset on it, it then said it was locked. I don't know how that could be. Then I used the DC Unlocker program that you mentioned and it unlocked perfectly. I'm glad you got TWRP installed. So TWRP works right? Let me know if you flash SuperSU in TWRP and you have root. Then I'll update my thread to include your version of X2.
Yes....I managed to flash the SuperSU (Beta-v2.49) using the "KangVIP" version of the TWRP.
Now my X2-GEM702L rooted and I can uninstall certain system bloatware and do full backups using the Titanium Pro.
The only thing is to await the 5.11 Android EMUI 3.1 update which is not available yet.

Thanks for the info! Did you try flashing the 703L stock 5.1.1 ROM on your 702L? I'm curious to see if it works.
Flash 703L stock 5.11 ROM ? No haven't tried it.
I wonder whether it will work because the only difference I could see between 702L and 703L is the former has 4 more LTE bands. The other specs looks similar to me.

is it safe, nothing to do with root/bootloader?
EDIT: DO NOT flash this on official Lineage with Lollipop bootloader, you will end up bootlooping on start, unable to get even into recovery after restart, only possible to get into fastboot which is also pretty useless, since your bootloader is locked
any idea how to recover back without going through flashing all the ROM and everything? is it possible to flash just firmware through fastboot?

Hello. Has anyone got a link to the latest firmware available for a MI4C. I'm not after the official ROM, just firmware workable with ROMs. I think the last update I done was through andropax link https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=155424 is there a way I can also find out which firmware I have installed I forgot.

& will it run dev ROMs?
I hope someone is merciful enough to take me out of my misery. I have screwed up often enough but this phone is driving me nuts.
So far i have managed to install TWRP on it and this part works fine. After that i have downloaded the three files to update the ROM (update.zip, update_full_NXT-L09_hw_eu.zip and update_full_hw_spcseas.zip) I boot into TWRP and try to do a "format data" which ends in an error. I flash then the three files one after the other, do a factory reset and wipe dalvik cache and reboot then. Surprise, surprise the system is still how it was left before boot into recovery. Nothing has been wiped/deleted all the data is there and the same ROM version. I thought to give a custom ROM a shot and downloaded TM8_B386_SIGNED booted into TWRP and flashed it but with this the phone does not even boot up. Has anyone got any idea what to try? The three button method with dload folder didn't work either, stops at 5% with an error.
Phone is a L09 version, currently installed is the NRD90M Rom with android 7 and EMUI 5. Phone is the 3GB/32GB version and location is Australia.
TIA

OK, i have found the rollback package and copied it into the dload folder. The three button recovery works to and the update starts and finishes with a success message. When the phone boots up it still says build NRD90M.

Thanks to everyone who has helped. I have finally got it to work with the rollback method and now would like to update it to a Nougat ROM. Could someone please be so kind and tell me which one exactly i need?

Hi Mate
I too now have the same issue as you !
I have a Australian Huawei Mate 8 NXT-L09 and tried Firmware update to Android 7.0 EMUI 5.0 and now phone stays on NRD90M test-keys.
I have no Bluetooth , Alarm , apps crashing and missing apps.
Before upgrading to Android 7 EMUI 5.0 using FF app my firmware was the official Huawei NXT-L09C636B191 firmware (android 6.0 EMUI 4.0)
Please tell me where I can find the rollback package for NXT-L09 for Australian Mate 8 model? Or how I can fix this issue.
Thanks

Hello.
I need a help with my Honor 8, it's been bricked and I honestly don't know if there is much to do in my current situation.
So the phone has locked bootloader and stock recovery.
Fastboot always returns 'Command not allowed'
What exactly happened:
I was running Stock ROM, rooted, TWRP Recovery with unlocked bootloader.
An official OTA update popped-up on my phone, I was in a rush and I missclicked (don't even ask lol) and the update started installing, I knew I'm screwed.
So I was about to play with fastboot, but it always returned 'Command not allowed'.
And probably the worst mistake happened a few minutes ago (6:00 am trying to fix it half a sleep), I was reading some posts about the dload method, >>FASTFORWARD I installed an official update using the dload method and locked my bootloader by doing this.
QUICK SUMMARY:
So I'm stuck on a bootloop.
The 3 button combo works.
Stock Recovery works as well.
Fastboot does NOT work. (I tried flashing, unlocking, temp-booting.. but nothing)
adb always returns error:
Code:
device unauthorized.
This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set
Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.
Is there ANYTHING I can do in my current situation? :crying:
Thanks in advance for any help.
Have a nice day.
Hello, as long as you have an official recovery, a proper BOOT.IMG and the dload method is working there is still a chance( i hope), the only thing you need to know is that if the firmware is the wrong for your phone it will deny it. It means that is if you try to install an android 6.0 based stock ROM over a 7.0 ROM , it will say software upgrade failed or something like that.
You need to know under which Android version you were and install the same or maybe a more recent one but not to far away from your actual ROM, try the next one. You can also try to downgrade USING a rollback package that you can download on honor official site. Make sure that's the the correct file for your phone.
Hope you'll make it bro, let me know how the situation evolve
(sorry for any language mistake, english isn't my native language.)

I placed the update.APP file inside sdcard but the update stops at 5% showing that it has failed.
I also tried flashing the recovery.IMG in fastboot mode.
I have lost all the hopes in my new phone
In the rescue mode it says UNLOCKED.
Please guide me with some detailed steps.
Thanks
Flash the stock recovery of the ROM that was previously installed on your phone , then with dload method flash the rollback package downloaded from honor site , and finally flash one of the two ROM, it may resolve your issue because the phone won't accept a lower firmware without flashing the rollback package first. As long as you can use dload method it should be fine.
If it doesn't work try to flash boot.img , recovery.img, cust.img, vendor.img and system.img extracted from a clean firmware downloaded on honor official site
