hello guys I need help I have s8+ exynos sg955fd rooted and I ws using custom rom on it . its a dual sim ver day before yestd I was trying with Verizon sim to work on it and now my phone is not able to make any calls , I have tmobile sim as I dial it just goes back to dail screen .
I do see I have service signal and its registered to network but not able to make calls , plzz help thanks.

I tried tht i flashed stock rom still no luck , it looks like its not registering the sim to network , i did goto mbile network and selected manualy the network but still no go, i really dont which file got messed up with 2 sims inside .
Check under status, does it show your IMEI or does it say unknown

Hi i hope someone can help. My phone has been working fine for 2 weeks, and today it just cut off the network. There is no network problems in my area and I've tried another sim card the problem is it says emergency calls only and won't connect to a network it just says try again later with multiple sims. However with one sim the Internet works but the cell won't make a call or text? Please advise also non rooted g920f

me too its happened to me on 18-July-2015 and my
- non rooted g920f
- IMEI changed to 350000000000004
- simcards not working ( not registered on network )
- i have signal bars without simcard !
- and when i reainstalled rom i found updates about 66mb i dont know because of updates or e have big prob here
any solution plz
Maybe a defective SIM card.
Perhaps a temporary network fault.
Your IMEI is corrupted then you are cut off the network!
If you have EFS (IMEI) partition backup try to restore it , for example by this app and you are done!
If you don't have backup of EFS partition you need to send phone to samusng service. (only samsung can't restore your original IMEI number)

My Samsung s6 sometimes picks up my carrier but when i make a call it goes to emergency calls only ? i am sometimes able to send a text but again it says emergency calls only after the text sends. I have tried many other sim cards and the same problem, I have also checked my IMEI and its fine.

i tested many modem but not worked, do you have another solution??
Is it giving a message when you remove your SIM card from running S6 ? asking for reboot or something like that I can't remember correctly ? If it's not giving the message seems like something wrong with your SIM bay ?

i have a Globe dual sim s6 and both sim card slots got locked
it has signal but it says "Emergency call only" and obviously i can not make a phone call or send and receive message.

Is the sim card detected? Is the sim card good? Does the phone detect any carrier networks? When did this happen? Did the phone ever work properly?
yes it c sim card cuz it shown the sim application for the network
the sim card is good and also i tried 3 sim cards for 3 networks
it happen from many days after i change the sim card in it
everything else in the phone works good
All I can suggest is reflashing a stock firmware from sammobile.com and then try again.
i did that
and i will do that again now
but i think is the radio is off
and i hope to find away to make the radio on

Are you flashing the latest rom for your phone? I though 5.0 was the most recent release the 9505.

This happened before to my friend's i9505 all of sudden . Long story short .. in his case it turned to be a hardware defect .
Check baseband version in settings >more>about . If it is there then you r good to go on software thing . If it shows "UNKNOWN" then unfortunately your modem IC chip is broken (hardware failure) and there is no solution here @xda to repair it . you'll need to bring it to service centre.

all you have to do is to flash another modem.

i thought if i flash a new rom i could fix it , so i tried to flash CM12.1 ROM for Galaxy S3 Verizon SCH-i535 as shown on this video :

but it made it worse , now the phone doesn't even detect the sim card , and there isn't even an option on the setting menu to access APN.
Please help me guys ! if you need more info just tell me.
I fixed this by putting my sim back to the phone and reflashing , everything works fine now.
however , when i call sombody and and cancel the call its keeps on calling , how do i fix this ? or do you have any stable good rom to flash it ?

go to factory restore and add new apn then it will work fine

Go to recocery V up Power And home and on top u should see the real Model number im using A note 5 which has the same issue
Now it works fine give it try Its a Sprint 64gb varient but after that my imei number was somw how.changed to a Samsung Galaxy S5 bjt works fine
Amd be careful after that i had two issues at start up it doest recognice sim so u have to type in a reset code and and after that u only get 3g ones u chamge to lte signal stops so u have to gl tk network setting and choose network automatic and go to Apn settings and broswse to the very bottom there u will see bearer. Change that to lte...and one more thing ones u flash the corect rom pls it will update system 2 times as far as i can remeber and after that only u will be able to select apn even but dont panic if u need any help let me know right nkw my notes workimg fine
