[Solved]Can not unlock the phone - Mate 8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Phone is debranded from L29 to AL10 for over a year now with no problems at all.
Using kangvip592 over HRT587
I wanted to upgrate to Stock592 then kangvip
so installed 552 because I have MF-PV version to install from TWRP
While I'm on Stock 552, i wanted to install twrp but failed: remote command not allowed, so I locked the phone and tried to unlock but gave me same error
What i did is using Hisuit to downgrade to 386, tried to unlock the phone with no luck
Phone upgraded to 577 using normal update then to 592
But I still have the same problem: i can not unlock the phone
tried to search for an answer with no luck
PS: Huawei Id is protected, and I can not disable the protection
Any ideas?

Downgraded again to 386, phone is relocked and bootloader status is unlocked.
Can't unlock it yet.

I wonder what are possible reasons that restrict the phone from unlocking using the right unlock code?

Managed to unlock bootloader.
The problem was phone finder, it was disabled from phone finder app in app drawer, but I didn't realize that the problem was in: Settings -> Advanced settings -> Security -> Find my phone.
When I disabled it there, the phone unlocked easily again.

mate 7 l09 vs note3 n9005 and etc... ?

hello dear mt7 users...
I have n9005 and I`d like to change it with mt7,but here I can`t find the gold version, so I must think about l09
something I wana you kindly answer me are these:
1. does mt7 l09 root?
2. after root ,can I update to android 5 in future?
3. can I root it without unlocking BL?
4. is there any english thread which clearly explain how to install official rom , unlock , root , etc for mt7 l09? (if yes, could you please link me?)
I love mt7 design and I hope its battery could give me about 8h screen on.
(I`ve used Samsung flagship from s2 till note3 and I hate note4 now! and I did everything on my Samsung phones, custom rom and custom kernel and ...)
thank you for your help
1. Yes you can root
2. Yes, you will be able to update when OTA will be avaible or with manual update throught updater app on the phone. You must have stock recovery to do official update.
3. For now only MT7 L10 can be rooted without unlocking BL. You must unlock booot loader for MT7 L09.
4. Search on mate 7 subforum, you have tutorial how to unlock bootloader, flash cwm recovery, root...
After that you can flash stock recovery and flash OTA updates in future with root.
You can achieve up to 10 hours of on screen time, but that depends of how you use the phone and what time of connection to network you are using. With litle of gaming, browsing and some base functions of the phone (phone and massaging), some camera, you can have 2 days usage with 6 hours on screen time. My best screen on time i 9h 30min with two and a half days of use.
This phone have the best premium feel of all phones, simply amazing build quality and design...

That's the way that doesn't work for OP.
Sadly there are no other ways without booting.
It did work for me and at least one more Mate 9 user, that user made the error of not selecting Huawei Y300-0100 in the program and didn't select Before EMUI 5 on the EMUI website.

In regards to downgrading a rebranded mate 9

I was able to rebrand my mate 9 running android 8...at least I believe it's fully rebranded, after checking the version, vendor, country, etc.
Anyways long story short, I follwed the hwota8 guide, got stuck after flashing OEMinfo with phone lock and FRP lock under bootloader and the OEM unlocking was greyed out. This left me unable to continue with the hwota8 guide.
I used Firrmware Finder and was actually able to flash the newest firmware that matched the OEMinfo file, and after finishing, the OEM unlocking is no longer greyed out.
Now, I've connected my phone to hisuite but under upgrade I don't get any option to rollback to a stable build so can I use firmware Finder to rollback to android nougat? (as it says my imei is approved for installation).
Update: Firmware Finder worked to do the rollback and I'm now back to running Nougat.
Do you mind giving a little more detail. I'm on a MHA-L29 (C567) US version. Running oero 8.0.0.371. FRP Unlocked, Bootloader Locked. I'd like to rebrand to AL0, downgrade to 7.0 and then run dc-unlocker to get my bootloader code, then rebrand back to C567. as dc-unlocker won't work for oero (8.0). Probably not possible but any information or details on what you did to rebrand and downgrade would be helpful.

MediaPad M5 CMR-W09, FRP bypass succeed

After 3 days of messing around I managed to remove the FRP lock from my media pad m5. What I did was not free but worth it I think. First I bought a license for DC-Phoenix. With the DC-Phoenix I downgraded the tablet at Update-Frimware to emui 8.0.0 ( Huawei MadiaPad M5 CMR-W09 hw eea Cameron-W09A 8.0.0.198(C431) Firmware 8.0.0 r1 EMUI8.0 05015UVL [androidhost.ru ] ) you have to enable Bypass version check and then it flashes it. This step is mandatory as you will then do an FRP bypass Upgrade. If you search for this on google ( Cameron-W09A_9.1.0.330(C432E5R1P3T8)_9.0.0_r3_EMUI9.1.0_05014XYA_FRP_bypass.APP) you flash it the same way but then you don't have to turn on that bypass version check after doing this After you have done this, you can set up the tablet and update it to the highest version via the tablet and the tablet is then FRP free.
Hey,
Because of the FRP I am not able to activate USB debugging so I have no adb Connection to my device (crm-al19).
Would it work without enabled adb?
