1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

Everything is good and working well. But there is not root access even after flashing SuperSU. In developer options there is only adb root access. Also Xposed framework will work on this?

Flashed su addon now developer options showing option to enable root access to apps and adb but still no root access.

Found temporary solution. After flasing su add-on select root access to apps and adb then reboot the device. Now go to SuperSU app settings and change default access to grant now apps will detect root.

Not booting up
I am stuck at bootloop since yesterday night, so i reverted back to stock. Followed the OP instructions but still no luck. I am coming from stock BLN-L22C675B340.

Finally booted up after formatting data. Jio Volte partially working, but not usable. Can't pick up or make calls.
bugs list: few networks not detecting and lte signal shows only two bars and automatically change to 3g even lte selected.
my 600 rps Panasonic headphones not detecting some cheap 150rps headphones got detected.
some ussds not showing.
going back to elite v7 can't use phone without headphones.
So guys... I hope you are waiting for next Updates for this Rom...
I didn't forget it but issue is, we are working on Aosp Oreo & LineageOS 15.1 as CodeOfHonor team... And we have fixed major bugs like wifi, bt, sound, display for Oreo Roms...
Now what you suggests us to do ?? Keep working on Oreo or work on Nougat for more better experience ??

Installation:
Always Have a full functional Backup. Just in case!
First time installing crDroid, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal/sd card
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash the Firmware before ROM in case you are coming from official miui Marshmallow based stock ROM
- Wipe system,data and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
- Copy crDroid ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash Gapps

Installed the rom. It is smooth and fast. No fc or network issues. Will run it for a few dual and let you know if any bugs are there. A suggestion - kindly add volume panel toggle to quick settings in next build. Thank you for your work. Cheers!!

I have flashed this rom today, everything is working fine even I can download apps from Play Store while on Roaming.. but the only thing is broken is double tap to wake is not there... Other than that everything is great ...

I used 10.5.53 latest yet beta version of Play Services, it will enable the roaming download from Play Store..

Yes, I'm using Jio SIM, GApps usually don't have beta versions of the Google Applications, you should use Google Play Services beta 10.5.53 (448-151019969) and Play Store 7.6.08.N-all [0] [PR] 149245622.
Manually download them from apkmirror and Install them and reboot, then try downloading it will work

I installed Tesla rom and flashed nano gapps. Now able to download using mobile data. I guess it has something to do with the rom also since I was not able to get this working in aosp extended even after clean flash

I turned off my screen, then, I'm not able anymore to turn it on, need to reinstall the rom again and again..

Huh, so i installed the rom, then the kernel, and wierdly enough,i get a black screen everytime, instead of the boot animation, also, i tired it on stock kernel, which still, gave me the black screen after the"device cant be trusted" screen

OK< buit the bullet and went for it.
Insatlled fine, no issues, everythign seemed fine. Big miss for me was no option do disable battery LED - that's the only thing that stops me staying on stock to be hnest.

flashed it...seems some compatibility issue with g apps.g play service(crashing). when trying to sign in with google account- phone soft reboots
*volte not working(partially working- when i call- on my end call immediately disconnects but on d other end- they receive calls)- ready to test
4g on data voice calls are not supported because volte is partially enabled
LTE speeds are fine but signal bar seems weak than actual
rom is snappy & can be still improved since it's just initial release

What GApps package did you tried? Usually, i go for pico. You can always install other GApps later from Google Play Store

i usually go with stock as i use most of them
i think in every package- G play services would be d same which is d main reason causing d crash.
However, i will check with 'pico' soon

Yeah it's surely true that every package would contain the same G play services app, but some custom ROMs supports some packages better than others, and overall, not every package is supported (on my old s4 mini, official LineageOS supported packages until pico; bigger packages than pico wasn't compatible, so services like Google play ecc. would keep crashing over and over). Try a smaller one like pico, and if it should work, add the rest later.

seems like i messed up d fingerprints while switching back from LOS rom- forgot to delete them on LOS
so fingerprint registration seems impossible right now
hence, restored twrp back up of stock emui by wiping everything
came back from stock again to this rom..still finger print registration isn't working
Update- Restore backup u made in TWRP & go back to stock emui- delete all fingerprints
fingerprint registration works again

You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

there are already detailed and well authored instructions. you need only to follow them. i've installed all of hassan's roms, all booted and worked fine.

Use normal supersu zip...it should work
Are animations smooth in this ROM, or is it like Lineage OS? I was using it on P9 Lite 2017 and lag made me went back to Elite ROM. Thank you

I tried using latest SU 2.82 ... it installs cleanly in TWRP.. but when I reboot into system and check ,SU icon wont be present and no apps can get root permission (like titanium backup, etc)
Just a suggestion... Its better if you can integrate the SuperSu into rom while compiling to avoid these issues

This rom seems to be smoother, as per my experience. Its clean and simple. Only issue is the getting SuperSU installed into it.

This rom seems to be smoother compared to LOS, its like stock with minimal changes to OS. I could use this rom only for a day, as it didnt support SU i had to move back to elite v7.
Camera is bit ok ok, its not as good as stock camera.
FOR ALL THOSE WITHOUT ROOT: I found somewhat a fix,just open the SuperSU app and set default access to "grant".This will enable root access for all apps but you will not have any control of the root access,i.e all apps will be granted root access by default,so be careful and try to stay away from viruses.
@HassanMirza01 if you can solve this little issue then this room will be PERFECT.It is EXCELLENT already.Really appreciated.Thanks a bunch.
PS:I have tried to change super user apps,tried installing magisk in a number of ways but both did not work,either I ended in a boot loop or simply with no root at all.

Good morning
Re-install the rom and this superuser.zip and phh's apk? It works for me...
I've got a doubt; On Elite ROM, and I believe on Stock EMUI 5.0, in Storage, there was an option called "Default storage" or something like that. Selecting there "SD CARD", new pictures downloaded, music, files from Chrome, as well as Android DATA, was stored on the SD CARD; everything but apps themselves. So it worked flawlessly. But here, on Legend, there's no such option. Only similar thing I've found is "Format SD as internal", and even though it does work, it also moves apps themselves to the SD CARD, and that makes apps act up: they don't load, or force quit, etc.
Any help setting the SD Card as default download storage and whatsapp/facebook/apps' data, without merging SD and Internal? Thank you in advance.

Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Using the ROM:
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).[/HIDE]
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
