Does anyone know if Android N Developer Preview brings RAW photo shooting to Z3?
RAW photos are supported by the android API since Lollipop, I've tryied many different apps that can shoot RAW photos with an Nexus 5 devices on a Z3, but the RAW option is not supported. I think its more a hardware issue than software...

I am almost certain it is software
Sony didnt include the CameraAPI2 that supports RAW capture. Without that API, no app can capture RAW,.
Can't understand why they would do that? Just out of curiosity, don't see their interest in that.
Android N Developer Preview is not supporting RAW photos in third apps or in sony camera app.

Edit: F ck I rode that it was supported, but you say it is not, damn Sony your post-processing is the worst with RAW photos this could be fixed
I have flashed Lineage OS 14 but the camera does not have any manual controls like manual focus, iso ,etc. But this features were present in Flyme so i believe we can enable the camera2 api somehow to get access to the manual controls again.
Hi,
I have rooted my eml-l29. But after editing build prop for camera2 api and restart the device, it's hardware level support category is showing limited. Before enabling camera2 api that was same. I think I done exactly same as the procedure. So my question is can the camera2 api be enabled in Huawei P20 or any huawei devices or it's hardware does not support camera2 api enabling.
Thanks.
Can anyone send their camera2 api dump?
And also if possible test the capabilities of the api by taking high fps videos with 3rd party apps?
Perhaps with google camera or another app that I know of that's named Quick video recorder
Thanks in advance
