My Contact card Scanner is Not visible in Contact Tab.Help me.

I have Huawei honor 6x White 3GB RAM & 32GB ROM.Recently update the Smarphone with Firmware finder firmware code L21 after few day again Updated now its Showing L22.I have Black color Honor 6x too.In that it is showing Contact card scanner but not in White.Why so ??? Please Help me ??

After EMUI 4.1 Update First update was L21 from Firmware finder with Build Number : l90 Test keys Mentioned 2nd update I did Randomly file size was 90 mb + Now it is showing Build Number : BLN-L22C675B330.

Yes i did the factory reset. Just after reset i upgrade it to L22.
Ok. If i am visiting to service center and request them for new latest software update. Will they help me for fresh L22 Software firmware.

After EMUI 4.1 update i installed BLN-L21C432B342 then i installed BLN-L22C675B330

Also I don't get the Huawei Inbuilt apps.But in black one Everything is available and Battery backup is also good.

Hi all. Today I purchased an Honor 6x. I am in the UK. The phone has been on all day and I have been tapping the update button like crazy. It seems that I am stuck on EMUI 4.1.3 and Android Marshmallow. Should there be a Nougat update in the UK for this phone? Thanks in advance

No, it doesn't work at 100%, often users detect problems of various types after using FF here on XDA, this because it can download even packages that not always match your phone variant...

Updates should be already came out if I'm not wrong, try to force the update by clicking on system uodaye -> 3 dots on the upper right corner -> down latest update. If nothing is found, try to write to Huawei and ask about the most recent update for your build

I have sent Huawei an email requesting information with regards to an update. Obviously I'll get no reply being the weekend so I have been sat here looking at firmware finder. So close to using it. From what I understand it won't void the warranty of the phone if I update using firmware finder. What if the update doesn't work can I revert back to the original version. What if the update bricks the phone? Is that easy to fix?

The rollback packages are available only for a limited amount of models at the moment (and i think forever, if Huawei wouldn't upload other packages as they've decided to do) so it could be a pain without a proper TWRP backup. For unbricking, there are some methods for doing that and it could be easy like it couldn't be, it just depends by the problem that could occur.

Ah thanks RedSkull. I might try and kerb my eagerness and see if I get a response from Huawei. This week's a bit busy so probably not the time to try anything risky.

i m not able to install stock recovery i m on twrp AND THERE IS NO OS IN MY PHONE
vendor and product partitions are completely empty
not able to boot at all not installing any rom zip as saying not able to mount vendor
how to flash vendor and product i tried with fastboot but it says remote command not allowed and tried installing stock recoery by fastboot and it installs successfully but when i boot recovery there is only twrp everytime
without stock i cant use dload method and stock is not installing and custom roms are also not installing

Go Download Firmware Finder In Play Store And Find Your Model. Do NOT Download Firmware That Are Not Approved Yet Whrn Selecting A Firmware. You Could Update If You Stock Recovery With The DNS Thing When Selecting A Firmware. Do Not Update Your Device With The One That Are Like Less Than 1GB, You Should Update With One That Says Around 2-3 GB

Update issues after Downgrade

Hi all, I have downgraded my p40 pro to 131 to get google apps working. Then tried auto updates and it tells me that there is an update but same version 131, updated to 131 using auto update but it still keeps telling me that I'm on 131 and same version of update available. Connected to PC and use Hisuite and same story, tells me 131 update available (which I already have) and nothing else. Was able to update to 154 using proxy but now same story, it keeps telling me that 154 update available which I did auto update but I still get notification that I there is new update to 154. I cleared data and cache both for Huawei Core and Update app but still same story.
Please help!?!

You will need to use Hisuit Proxi & firmware finder to get more upto date firmware.

Select Full, and use the check availability option to make sure its an approved for install as well, else it will fail.

When I did mine, No. But remove or backup any personal stuff off your memory card if you have one, just in case. Note if you've done the GMS install, make sure you log into All you're accounts, ie YouTube etc first before upgrading firmware. Cause you won't be able to add later.

Update: Ok found it, it is via the advance button and paste the link there to check if it's approved or not.
Is this done via the HiSuit Proxy Advance button? how can i check if it's approved or not?

Hi im having the same problem. I tried to manually update to version 10.1.0.161 after installing gms from 121. Still cant get OTA. Its been 2 weeks.

Hmmm we are all on C636. No idea what went wrong. Only difference is 4RP1 and 5RP1. Any difference in those?

Same situation here, I downgrade to version 131 o install GSM and now the phone won't update.
I had to update it using HiSuite and now I'm on 183 version.
Hope there is a way to fix the OTA updates on the phone.

Doing some research I have found what is happening:
On your P40 Pro, in the "About phone" screen you can see the build number and then a number between ( ), example: Build number 10.1.0.131 (C636E8R5P1)
The number after the C will tell you the version or region of your firmware, in the example C636 = version/region 636
When you downgrade using a different version/region you will loose the OTA updates on the phone, and this will only be restored after you install your correct version/region firmware.
You will need to find the correct version of your firmware and have the "dload" version, and install it from external card. There is a video showing how to do this, but the link on the video is for a version/region 636, if you have a different version/region it won't fix anything.
Once you have the correct firmware and install it, you will begin receiving OTA again. This process, at least on my phone, erased everything, so be aware of this.

If c636 is version/region then what e8r5p1 is?

any ideas on how to update to the latest version manually without losing data? when i check for update it says im on latest, but im on .121!

My version is .176 c432 want to install gms so I still need to downgrade to .131 first? Also I saw most people are c636 what region is mine?

Same thing for me. Im afraid I'll lose my update ability forever lol

software upgrade problem

I recently tried to upgrade my phon to emui 11.I tried to do it manually.But software upgrade was not successful.
Now phone is not booting it's upgraded to emui 11.0.0.151 but saying some messages and going in to erecovery mode.
i went to many professionals but everyone was failed.
Please help me to get out of this horrible situation!!!

i bet u didnt know what type firmware on your phone and the type of firmware that u download before u update *according to pic 3
first of all, huawei have many version of EMUI 11 for Mate 30 pro for many region....
so u must check "Base software version" in your phone and matching it with the firmware database... then download and flash it to your phone via SDcard/HISUITE
example.. my phone has base software version called "LIO-LGRP2-OVS 11.0.0.151"
if i want to downgrade/manually upgrade, i must search firmware with code "LIO-LGRP2-OVS"
how to access/search base software version ?

i checked my region..base version and everything...i used to downgrade through hi suite...but this time...it was failed.and bricked my phone!!

there is another method for huawei called dload.. it is through otg or nm card...but don't know if that works fr huawei mate 30 pro...hi suite method is mostly used.
