Unable to flash firmware using dload method.

Hello everyone,
Recently I got stuck in BLN-L21 and after lot of failures I was able to revert back to BLN-L22 thanks to a friend on xda. For that I have used oeminfo that he had generated on his phone and sent to me.
But now whenever I try to upgrade my current nougat version, I get always error from Huawei erecovery. Like "The version is incompatible with your current version". I have tried several times. My device is unlocked right now and I also installed TWRP 3.1.1-0.
Did anyone face the same issue before? If yes please let me know how did you solve it. Thank you

Whats the error ?
Whenever I try to flash any version of the firmware through dload method one red exclamation mark appears and it is written "The package is not compatible with the current system. Please download the correct package." I'm currently on BLN-L22C675B320.
I was able to revert back from BLN-21 to BLN-22. I'm facing this problem from that time and due to that the built-in
VoLTE doesn't work anymore.

Yes. I bought the Indian variant and while trying one day to roll back to MM bcz I was facing some touchscreen issue in Nougat, the phone when to NRD900-test keys. I tried several ways and I ended up changing my phone to another variant BLN-L21.
So recently a friend from the xda community gave me an oemfile info that je had backed up on an Indian variant. Using TWRP I therefore backup the current oeminfo which was from the oeminfo of BLN-21 to my SD card. I then replaced one of the 3 files by the oeminfo file that I got from my friend which is from the Indian variant. Again using TWRP I just restored the new oeminfo to revert back to BLN-L22.
But problem is from that time I can't flash any firmware anymore, my inbuilt VOLTE is also not working. My bootloadwr is currently unlocked. I tried to relock it but it always fails. I think that the trick that I did only spoiled my phone. That's the reason why I requested anybody to share with me their oeminfo file that they backed up using TWRP from the Indian variant. Hope you understood.

So u mean that u had oeminfo of L22 is it ? I can fix that in two minutes if u have twrp:fingers-crossed:
Thank you all for your support. I tried relocking my phone thinking that It would solve the problem but I ended up bricking my phone. I then went to Huawei service center and they told me that my motherboard is damaged and they need to change it completely. I need to wait for one week.
Lesson of the story: Don't mess up with Huawei phones!

Where is EMUI 5?

I have a UK Honor 6x and there seems to be no EMUI 5 update. Has it not been released? Why?
Could you tell phone's serial number? Anyway you can check by Huawei official site, in downloads section if it is already came out or not

There's no way to check, they don't even list the 6x on the emui website.
You have BLN-L21C???
You can use Firmware Finder to download official update package and flash yourself.

Mine is BLN-L21 too, i found the .tar files for both EMUI 4/5 directly checking on their site. It was something like 1 month and half ago... anyway if you'd like to avoid searching, just click here - http://download-c1.huawei.com/downl...oadId=96012&version=398080&siteCode=worldwide - it's the direct link to download EMUI 5 .tar update file for BLN-L21. In my previous post i was meaning that without your phone serial, which contains your model variant, i wouldn't be able to provide ya the link for your correct version.

Ok, no problem.
You can update both with dload method and with Firmware Finder.
None of them requires rooting or an unlocked bootloader, but I suggest you to go with Firmware Finder as it's easier and more safe.
Download the app from play store.
Open it and go into settings; enable "Use proxy for install".
It will ask you to download an app, confirm. Download will start. Install the app, go in WiFi settings and enable proxy on your current network.
Set "localhost" as IP and "8080" as port.
Then get back on Firmware Finder.
Press the button on the main page, available updates will be shown.
Select the latest available one (be careful, the type has to be FullOTA-MF-PV, other versions are not flashable) and touch "Check firmware access" (with IMEI).
If the update is the latest available FullOTA-MF-PV one, and the firmware check tells you that your device is not approved for installation, tell us and we'll find another way. Else, touch "Get an update through proxy".
Open your updater in settings, you'll find the update.
Start the download and remove the proxy from your WiFi settings.

how to change the name of a file in /vendor back?

You mostly probably loose volte
Your device is Indian version, but update notice Japanese version. Dont know why you get this notice, maybe you register Japanese version in FF.
I think it will failed or if success install, you will break some function.
But do a backup then try update.
Dont update. it will download and eventually fail. you may have just selected the firmware for FRD-L02 and not given the CXYZ so it has pushed this update. Dont use firmware from other region to flash on other phone.
