Where to find stock ROM for Android 6.0? - Honor 6X Questions & Answers

I wanted to try installing a custom ROM, but i am not gonna do that withouth a stock ROM backup. However, i can't find the stock ROM for my device anywhere online and i have zero idea how to go around dumping mine. My serial code is: BLN-L21C432B130

Stock recovery would be nice too

Keep looking on Firmware Finder, or Google.
BTW, the full package should have the recovery image, this is, it is included on the UPDATE.APP file.

I have been using firmware finder. No idea how to know what version is the right one for me tho. There was one, but it didn't download

Check this out: http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/?firmware_model=BLN-L21C432B130&firmware_page=0
Is the official web page for the devs of Firmware Finder (on russian, just traduce it with your preferred traductor). The URL points for the firmware database, already put your version on the search field. You can download the firmware by clicking on the "update file" column URL (the 5th column).
For downloading the full package, you must choose the "FullOTA-MF" firmware.
Currently, there are 2 "FullOTA-MF" firmwares. Be sure to check if the changelog is available; if the changelog URL gives you a 404 error, then that firmware file will be unavailable.
Finally, you can flash the firmware through dload + 3 button method, if needed. There are guides on how to do this on the forums.
Cheers, and good luck :good:
Don't forget to check that the firmware version fits with your device's version.

Here http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=94087&version=376224 you can download from official Honor European site the firmware for BLN-L21, Android 6.0, EMUI 4.1, C432B130

[Q] In the US and upgraded to 3.1, what about firmware?

I'm in the US and just got my TF and Keyboard on Saturday from local BestBuy. I found the 3.1 upgrade at the Asus support site. I also saw a firmware upgrade, my Build number says HMJ37.US_epad-8.4.4.5-20110527 at the Asus website it has 8.4.4.5 but the date created seems newer File Size 224,48 (MBytes) 2011.06.10 update. It also doesn't give a good explanation on how to install. It says "Please follow the steps in the SOP manual to update the firmware" Where and what is the SOP manual (??? standard operating procedures??). So I don't know if I should download
The SOP document is the very last item in the firmware section.
It is very easy to follow. You will need a 256MB or larger microSD card to update your TF.
Be sure to download the correct version: i.e. Version V8.4.4.5(US) (it should be the fourth item in the firmware section).
Good luck!
Edit: You already have the latest update / firmware - no need to update.

[Completed] [Q] I need help for phoenix refurbish

Hi,
I have nokia N8 and I recently managed to downgrade firmware from nokia belle refresh to scandinavian 11.05 firmware using instructions from this forum. Now I would like to refurbish it, but I want to use lowest possible firmware that is available for my product code. First I have one question, on mrcrab.net for nokia N8 RM-596 the lowest possible software is 11.12. I click on that link, and than I find my product code 059D6F4. And here I encounter my first problem there are 2 versions, V1 and V2. V1 has Variant ID: 4566463622, and V2 has Variant ID:4732303273. I don't know what is my variant ID, I searched on google and I can't find how to read Variant ID from my phone. So my first question is how to find Variant ID for my phone. Next I tried to write firmware from V2 version, although I am not sure if it is my Variant. So I downloaded all files from this page, put it in RM-596 folder in .../Phoenix/Products, renamed all files that contain RM-596 or RM596 in their name, so that all characters before these are deleted. But still there are some files with names without these chars so I left them as they are. Than I click Flashing, Firmware Update, than I click button with 3 dots [...]. In new window I get recognized my product code, in first column is 059D6F4, Description is empty, DP ver column shows 2.0. Since this is the only option I have, and only folder in Products folder is RM-596, I choose this and click OK. But here is problem and my second question, in Firmware Update window Product Code, and SW version text boxes are grayed, and Variant dropdown doesn't have any options. What am I suppose to do regarding this problem, thank in advance. Also I disable antivirus, run Phoenix as administrator, phoenix version is 2012.04.003.47798, the same one I used for downgrade from Belle refresh to Scandinavian FW. If anyone wants to help me via TeamViewer I would appreciate it.

Ok.
First, you should try downgrade 5.10.1 to 5.9.16 with LU or 3 buttons.
Full L02 5.9.16: https://yadi.sk/d/8ESfA-87jPhbM
Is there any reason to "go back"?
I'm using Dev version, and seems very stable.
Hi Guys.
Thank you very much. Worked fine, now i'm on B532 (Rollback worked with 5.10.1, i didn't copy the whole file)
I want to go back, because there are not so many updates OTA like in the betas, and i think some little thing won't work in the betas every time. And every time when a New Update appears, i want to have it and i have to unroot /Stock Recovery / and delete the ChinaShi#. So i decided for me to go back a Stable ROM without any preasure.
I hope you can understand my "good" english.

@Giannichedda:
I used succefully your method for L12. I have to mention that it was not necessary to use an intermediate version from 5.10.1 to B317 ROM or B532 .
I managed to change :
a. 5.10.1 > rollback file> B532
b. 5.10.1 > rollback file> B317
c. B532 >rollback file> 5.10.1
d. B532 >rollback file>B317,
5.10.1 = Android 5.1.1, Developer
B532 =Android 5.1.1, Stable
B317= Android 4.4.2.
Thanks.

Other places to download Leagoo ROM from than Needrom?

Hi everyone,
My last attempts to get the latest ROM for my Leagoo T5c have proven to be a total waste of bandwidth: I've download the latest one three times, each time from a different mirror, and every time, after unzipping it with 7-Zip (default), the SPD Upgrade Tool told me the .pac file was too small, and must be corrupted.
Thing is, in the the 7-Zip File Manager, the size of the file before it was compressed seems to be right, but after decompressing it, it's a bit like me: not all there...
Anybody know of another (reputable) place where I can download those ROMs from? The Leagoo official website is of no help there, because they simply don't have any ROM for my device in store.
EDIT: same goes for the next-to-last firmware, issued January 28, 2018; wrong size upon decompression, no go.
Maybe it's a conversion problem: I unzipped the archive with The Unarchiver on my Mac, and got a 3.96 Go (in French; equals to 3.96 GB) .pac file, but when I try to feed it to SpreadTrum's Flashing Tool, I get a file size at 3.68 Go or GB...
Ideas, anyone?

I'm very very late to answer.
I'm looking for stock boot.img & recovery.img this leagoo. so I'm here. still not find it.
i have no problem mounting that "pac".
have 2 file rom from 4pda forum. use WinRAR & windows 10
my problem is execute flashing. I install twrp without backup boot.img & recovery.img . so the spflash tool can't install rom because of that twrp
still wondering
where I can find that stock image
oh just search 4pda t5c and u will see that Russian forum. use Google translate to find firmware
Stock ROM can be found on the OEM website, here, but the latest is almost two years-old now: http://www.leagoo.com.my/support/firmware/
There's one more recent on needrom.com, that's more or less the same as the latest security update, I think (I did mine OTA back then), with little more in the way of features and functionalities, and it's still based on Nougat no matter what: https://www.needrom.com/download/leagoo-t5c/ (you have to be a premium member to download it; I am not)
Done with image
No problem on stock firmware. I have April & August 2018 version (201804.... & 201808....)
Thanks to guy on YouTube, I can get stock boot & recovery image
It's on .pac file
Now twrp replaced by stock recovery.
Spd flashtool detect my t5c. I can start flashing aug 2018.
With researchdownload.exe
Then Nv_Lte failed, uart send error. Try again, change checklists in setting, start
Secvm failed, uart send error
So.. new problem. How to use spd flash tool (research download.exe) successfully....
Hmmm it's very long way... spend many time to read google
Hi uglystuff
I saw your experience on needrom
About try updated rom,
Can u give summary about which rom is better? I'm on January 2018. Update in setting offer me March 2018.
Better ask before flash
Thanks

How To Guide Install Xiaomi EU, IN, ID ROMs instead of Global without Unlocking Bootloader!

This Guide is for any Xiaomi device with any 'Stock ROM'. Please do the following steps carefully, especially from step 7 to the last step:
Check the current MIUI version on your device, and to do this do the following:
Go to settings> About phone> you will find the version number next to MIUI Version.
You will need to download the same version, so go to the XiaomiRom website.
In the search box above, type your phone’s name, and download the ROM version with the same number you have.
You must make sure that the ROM you are downloading is Recovery version and not Fastboot and it is the same version that is currently on your phone
Now, following the same steps, download the appropriate Indonesian (ID), or European (EU) ROM for your phone with any version number you want but it must be the same Android version.
For example: If you currently have Android 11, the other ROMs must also be Android 11 as well
Now you have two files, the global ROM which is the same as your current version, and the Indonesian ROM that you want to flash.
Go to Settings app > About phone > System updates. Now by pressing the three points above list select the phrase “choose the update package” or the Select Update , the Package .
In case you don’t see this option, simply click on the MIUI logo for 10 consecutive clicks, then the option will appear.
Now, you will choose your “current” official Xiaomi ROM and a message will appear: Your phone will restart automatically with the button: Reboot and update, Leave it and don’t click on it now and leave this page as it is and don’t close it!.
Go to the home screen > file manager > Downloads > then go to the official ROM file that you chose in the previous step and copy its current name “long click with the option to rename and then copy the file name”.
Did you copy the name of the global ROM version? Now delete it!
Again, go to the Indonesian ROM file you downloaded, and rename it, then paste the name of the ROM you copied in the previous step, and do not forget that the file extension is .zip for one time and not duplicated.
Now, go back to the page that I told you not to clos in step 7 and hit the restart and update button.
Now, the phone will reboot, and start installing the Indonesian ROM or any other ROM you downloaded in the first steps on your instead of the global one.
So, what have we done here?! Simply, starting from step 7, the phone told us that we will install the global version of the ROM, so at the same time the system Decrypt it to find out the data of the Zip file of the ROM that you chose, and thus the OS skipped here the stage of making sure that this version is compatible with your current phone.
Then, in step 9 and step 10 we deleted the ‘System Approved’ ROM and renamed the Indonesian ROM to the same name as the ROM the phone approved in Step 7 – so the phone went straight to it since it’s the same name.

Yes it is safe. But I used this method to downgrade from 12.5.5 Global to 12.0.4 global. As there are news that MIUI 12.5.5 is causing an issue and people's devices are getting hard bricked suddenly.
Thank you in advance, I'm new on this forum. Doing this process, do you lose any data?
Thanks

thank you.will i loose any data?i want to go ID for enable call record
Is google play certification passes with this method? Are Playstore and other google apps work after switching Rom's area for instance Global to Indonesia or EU?
If it helps anyone who comes to this thread and interested in the answer: I Switched from 12.5.7 Global to 12.0.3 Indonesian rom. After restart a data wipe was needed. I haven't signed in any google account yet but google play protection says that my device is certified.
I have 12.5.4(RJUEUXM) EEA, could I flash 12.5.7(RJUMIXM) Global using this method? I assume so, but my question is, will it need a full wipe?
Also, can I flash a xiaomi.eu recovery using this method, or is it silly to even consider it?
I installed MiUI 12.5.4.0 indonasian on my Global Poco X3 pro after unlocking bootloader. And now I have Upgraded it to MiUI 12.5.7 Global using this method. By doing this, my data was not erased. Everything seems to be working but after few hours I noticed that some apps e.g SMS is not opening. I am resetting my device now as I have already backed up my data.
Thanks for tutorial. Munchy's video helped a lot as well.
My phone with Android 10 and also MIUI 12.0.5 and I want to change to ROM MIUI 12.5 and Android 11 can I change or not?
I try to go from Global_V12.5.4.0.RJUEUXM to xiaomi.eu_multi_POCOX3Pro_V12.5.7.0.RJUMIXM but it didn'r work for me.
Boot locked here.
