New to Root to Recover Old WiFi Passwords - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

1. I am VERY NEW to the concept of root but if I root my Galaxy S6 to recover my old WiFi passwords and then reset it to factory settings to sell the phone, will that mess up the rooted phone?
2. How can I root my Galaxy S6 for someone who does not know technology whatsoever and doesn't want to ruin the phone?
I sincerely appreciate your time and help!!!

[Q] S3 Clone root

Hi,
Can someone confirm if I root my S3 Clone Bluebo L100 with 'Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v15', it will keep the phone as it was before the root but make it rooted, or will it restore the phone back to it's original factory setup.
I read somewhere that if you root your phone it will lose it's settings and you will lose it's IMEI number and I may not be able to use the phone. I'm not convinced but wanted to seek some support that all I will do if it works is to make the phoned rooted.
Thanks
Lee
Not sure if a generic method will work to root your phone, but if works you wont lose any configuration or IMEI.

Want to enable multi-users on Samsung S4 but can't root phone

Hi!
I want to enable the multi-users functionality on my Samsung Galaxy S4. It runs Android version 5.0.1, so it shouldn't be a problem, but I need to root my phone in order to edit my build.prop file.
Problem is, I own a Samsung Galaxy S4 sgh-m1919v, which is a phone from Videotron in Quebec, Canada.
I've tried Kingroot and Towelroot, but neither will support this phone.
Another common way to root an android phone seems to be by using Odin and going into download mode, but since this exact phone isn't on the list of "approved" devices, I am reluctant to try it... I really don't want to break it.
I've checked on this forum and haven't found an answer to my problem yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
TL;DR: Need help rooting Samsung S4 SGH-M1919V

Hello,
There are few devices which need unlocking the bootloader for root which in turn wipes data.

Which one are those?

Help removing screen pin without losing data

Hello everyone.
I need some help recovering data from a Samsung J7 (2016) with a screen pin. If it's possible, if I can remove only that pin without touching the apps in the phone will be great. I was thinking to format and then pass a recovery app after rooting but I think I will have issue with Google FRP.
Not sure if I go to download mode and root through Odin if I can then remove the pin (or through custom recovery) and do it without USB debugging enabled.
Why I need the data? The owner died few days ago (suicide) few days ago and the family and local police asked me for help to access the phone, so the information is very important.
I tried some things but I'm out of ideas right now. I don't care if the phone have warranty which will be lost.
Also, I'm not doing it for money, I'll do it to help the family.
Any help/idea will be great.
Thanks.
i have the solution

UPDATE:
I have access to the Google account linked to the device. I set a PIN through device manager and tried it after inserting a sim card with internet, but I haven't wait enough and after inserting the PIN I got blocked another 60 minutes....damn.
I can't find if he set a Find my phone through Samsung (I don't know which email he used)
