Should my UK phone be updating to Nougat?

I received my UK/Europe phone today and I was wondering if the Nougat update should be coming through? It did a big 450mb update after powering on for the first time but i'm still on EMUI 4.1.3.

I've been trying the manual update check for a few hours now, tried rebooting to see if that might help but so far nothing.

Why wouldn't want I want Nougat, is it not good? Current version is BLN-L21C432B151.

If it's anything to go by, I have Nougat and EMUI 5.0 on my Huawei P8 Lite 2017 (same SoC as the Honor 6X) and it is brilliant

Sorry for being such a noob but I how do i identify which update I should select in Firmware Finder?

I just want to update to whatever the latest firmware is but there seems to be more than one when looking at the dates?

Wait for some days. Also here in Austria we got the Update 2 Weeks ago.
I think is a time delay. How long do you have your phone now?
I do not suggest that Firmware Finder tool. Looks not serious in my point of view.
And that confusion about the lots of updates and files in there? No way...
If you do want do update manually, then do it in a right way and flash it by you own.

Just wondering if you ever got your update. I got the Honor 6x this week and still no update. Am on Android 6 and EMUI 4.1.3. Have spoken to Huawei and Three and have got nowhere. I'm no geek so too scared to use Firmware Finder. Is this my only option??

Nrd90 test key and on every reboot I get device verification error no matter which version I install why is this

Three sold me an Honor 6x recently which will not update to EMUI 5 or to Android 7. According to Honor UK Tech support, BLN-L21C432B151 will not update and they have no update in the pipeline. Tough luck seems to be their attitude. Three did not have a clue and will not change the phone. Stupidly (as it turns out) I bought from the Three shop in Canterbury, their take is, "too bad" and if I had bought over the phone from Three direct (or on the web site) I could have simply returned it for a refund. Supported my local shop and realise now that I was a mug, I have no right of return even if you feel you've been "stiffed." No wonder the High Street is dying. Anyway, it looks like we suckers are stuck with what I consider old tat which is outdated from day 1. Thanks, Three and Honor. Now I know who to avoid.

I bought 6x from amazon.uk. Updated to nougat with FF. Had problem with disappeared update app in settings after flashing rom from FF but I found 100-150 MB update somewhere here on xda that fixed it. Since then I am getting all security patches every few months. Did not rooted and not tried any custom ROMs yet. I am getting old I suppose ?

All, following some pres releases, Orea seams to be distributed in Europe for the MHA L29-C432 since today...I did not receive any notification and nothing on Hisuit as well...did anybody received it already and if yes could you pls. share the built-no?

No Oreo for my L29-C432, yet.

I just get Oreo from HiCare !

Where did you find 8.0.0.361 on FunkyHuawei. It doesn't show uo for me. I am L29 C432 (flashed the beta 329 as it was the latest available)

It is a bit tricky, took me a while to find it as it is not listed in the regular folder.

What model are your devices?
I am in Australia. LEO-DLXX and I have not received it yet.
Any news how the watch performs now with Oreo? Is the sleep tracking included?

Finally got it. Downloading now. ?

I have the update on my non-lte and so far it performs great. It came with the March 1st security patch. Notifications seem to show faster between device and watch. Also I've noticed that the watch runs smoother and seems more responsive overall.

No update here in France.
I'm still 7.1.1

Once you receive the OTA notification, do not update and do not reboot. Download the OTA and let it remain on the device. Connect your smartwatch with your Android phone. Launch the latest Android Wear 2.0 app on the phone. Tap on the 3 vertical dots, which is the options tab, and select Report Wearable Bug. It may take a long time to retrieve the log for the last hour. You will get a notification on the phone saying the report was received. Now you can directly email yourself to get the log on your PC.
and send the log to me (report.txt)
(only if you are DOWNLOADING the ota)

just got the update notification yesterday in Hong Kong, and updated successful

From 15.March Honor officially in Europe pushed OTA MagicUI 3.0 a.k.a. Android 10 update.
And from roadmap plan it should def also get 3.1 but we will see, nothing officially confirmed.
It is 30.March but persionally i have not recieved it.
And im curous to see ho else did not recieve it, or who recieved it in Europe After 2 weeks.
Very slow updates. This is my first honor device and 100% last because of this in my opinion it is not normal that you need to wait 1.5years to get some android update.
My mothers 3y.o Nokia 5 bought like for 160€ when it was new, recieved android 10 in January, and just recieved March security update over OTA. So im confused, how can it be. Phone that is 3x cheaper is recieving constant security updates and android updates 3x faster than hi-end Honor devices.
I will start.

With pc and hisuite the same.
In this covid time no phone or carrier, shops are open to check the version in the 'display' v20 models
p.s. i have also cleared android update app cache(what honor is saying to do if you dont recieve updates) still the same.
I will try to flash with HSTool on different v9.1 version, and try to see what will happen. sad that we cannot flash to v10...
UPDATE EDIT: I have manually flashed to 9.1.0.257 with usb method. and IMMEDIATLY i had an OTA update to v10.0.0.179. #success

I'm on Emui 10 with my Mate 20x but with Dez. 2019 Security Patch,since 4 Months no Update

When trying to get the MagicUI 3 update,I used the HiSuite app to check because for some weird reason no OTA came. And there was it..

Needs to be located on root area not in download folder.

Updated to Android 10 through normal OTA in Spain. Data preserved, without any problem. Everything works fine. (model XT2019-1, RETEU)

Hi,
I have an issue related the adaptive brightness: it's activated but the brightness not changing (at the moment it remains at 82%). If I modify manually it remains at that value.
I have already:
- disabled/enabled it
- rebooted the smartphone
- reset the smartphone
but the issue persists.
Any idea?

Don't know what motorola are playing at used to be spot on few years back

I have just updated by using the motorola rescue assist, once it downloaded the firmware it already gave me the latest version, its super nice but i have a question, i feel like the battery is draining a little faster than before, is it normal? Any workaround ?
