I was flashing a marshmallow ROM last night and after the flashing process completed, it asking me "SIM unlock nck" or something like that and I realized that my IMEI is null and I can't use my sim card. I had bootloader unlocked. I've searched any website to fix my problem but I couldn't find a solution. I already flashing it again with many different ROM but still no luck. Please help!
Sorry for my bad English.

There's a difference between lock and relock.
Relock will say 're-locked' in the bootloader, and that's probably voiding warranty.
You can get it to say 'locked' by flashing official firmware, you have a few options here...
1. Firmware Finder
2. Flash update guide
3. Dload method (only for C636B136 and AL00C00B115)
4. FunkyHuawei (paid)
5. Dc unlocked (i think anyway, and paid)

No. When you flash stock firmware everything is back to stock. If there was a way to flash a modified update.zip with Twrp as recovery instead of stock recovery it would be possible. But as far as I know we can't yet. I've tried to repack using Huawei Update extractor but it doesn't want to, header mismatch. (this is on all extracted files, not just twrp)
The only reason to get locked bootloader would be if you needed to return the phone because of a software error. If it's hardware it should be replaced anyway.

Yep. Flashing stock firmware will do that.
You won't get rid of emui though. We don't have AOSP so emui is always there...

sorry for my bad thing. But can i ask you help me this case:
i have Mate 9 Pro LON-L29C636C361 (lastest Oreo ) , but my bootloader is unlocked, and maybe not have stock recovery .
So, which method can flash again full rom C361 (3 file : update.zip, data full, hw...etc) and complete back to stock with locked bootloader???
I read somewhere about method LON-HWOTA, but it fail when flash TWRP step, because i am on Oero, so this method can not use in this my case . Can you show me another way ?
to relock bootloader on Android 8 (MUI8), only works if you have your CORRECT oeminfo.bin. make sure you backup yours before rebranding
1. just flash TWRP
2. make folder folder HWOTA8 on SD card
3. Download HWOTA8 and copy "hwota8_rebrand" to SDcard
4. Copy your oeminfo.bin file to HWOTA8 folder.. Make sure to rename your file to oeminfo.bin
5. Boot into TWRP and install from SDcard hwota8_rebrand
Done bootloader relocked

Is the bootloader unlocked? Do you know which model you had? Do you know which version of EMUI you had? Also for future reference do not make new threads without looking in guides because I think the answer is right here. https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/to-emui5-custom-roms-tested-openkirin-t3638445 . Next time you post try to be more helpful because everyone here will try to help you if you help them help you. Some people may not respond if you do not leave information, or communicate that you need help to provide the information.
If you know you had EMUI 5, this should work (assuming you use the correct firmware files and have unlocked bootloader still). What did you wipe in TWRP?

Next time be more careful. Here are some steps for you
1. Flash TWRP 3.1.1-1 (fastboot flash recovery twrp.img)
2. Download Firmware (If you are in Europe The L09 firmware up top should be what you use. If you are in Asia use the L09 firmware at the bottom.)
3. Move the firmware to your External SD if present and name the folder "Stock Firmware" using TWRP MTP
4. Factory Reset in TWRP (NOT ADVANCED WIPE)
5. Flash your region file before update.zip
6. Reboot to recovery in twrp, this will run EMUI stock recovery
7. Tap factory reset, wait.
You may need to Unlock the bootloader again, but your phone should be okay.

Based on the method given above, were you able to restore the device? It would be new learning for me as i would go for dload but he suggested which was something new for me and i would definitely follow this instructions if i mess up or dload doesn't work.
Hello! So I tried flashing a custom ROM to my friends Honor 8 after reading around a bit and such but it ultimately failed and now we're trying to get it back to the default ROM. We found a ROM download but it was for the version FRD-l09C900B120 which was running EMUI4.0 and Android 6.0. I also read that the "C" version he has doesn't receive any further updates, I'm failing to find anything on the correct "C" version anywhere. If anyone could guide me through the installation process for the correct and latest firmware it would be great!
On another note, the build in eRecovery doesn't seem to want to install the update package. It always fails pretty early on after connecting to WiFi, any fix for that would be great. Thanks!
Thanks for any help!
On which ROM was the custom ROM based? You should try to flash the rollback package with dload method and then flash B120 or another EMUI 4.X ROM with same method

The custom ROM was Linageos 14.1, so it wasn't anything EMUI based.
I'm gonna try and manually flash the ROM from an update.app that we downloaded from the app Firmware Finder.

We did not make a twrp backup (In hindsight we should've....)
We don't have twrp on it right not but can be fixed if needed.
We were on the latest update available to the phone which should be latest today as well. (OTA)
Flashing it manually made the phone enter a bootloop. It didn't even start the firmware. Any suggestions?
EDIT: We got into Fastboot. What are our options?
Right now your best option in my opinion is to flash Boot.img, recovery.img,cust.img and system.img that you will extract from the UPDATE.APP of your CURRENT Rom. Then just try the dload method again and again, it may not accept the firmware you try to flash but in this case just try another, but not a lower one because you need the rollback package to do that
Rayan19997 said:

Well currently there's a broken firmware on it of FRD-L09C432B943... Or something like that.
I think at this point he's looking at getting a new phone all together.
No matter if the firmware inside isn't working properly, with fastboot you can manually flash each partition that is needed as long as USB debugging is enabled and bootloader unlocked. After flashing these cleans parts you can properly use the dload method , and if you get an error using dload method can you tell me which one is it? At least the device behavior.
I have to sleep, I'll be right back on the morning hope you'll make it this night , if don't , please be more specific and accurate when you describe the errors you faced, that way we will be more efficient when answering

If you flash LineageOS on a phone without OS it won't work just because LineageOS patch the current installed System, if there is no system there is no way it will boot

On another note, I got a good UPDATE.APP available but it refuses to install using the dload method because the versions are different. Does anyone know which partition the USERDATA.img file goes to?
You don't have to flash each single partition but dude in my opinion it's better to flash the whole UPDATE.APP, just use the rollback package and flash a lower EMUI.
Another thing: I'm currently on honor official site and I can download firmwares, you're searching in the wrong place.

Hi

Try to clean flash your firmware through dload method, trying to be accurate while flashing. Something surely went bad while flashing the update you're talking about. Maybe you flashed the 7.0 for another variant, and now it messed up the firmware. Go on hwmt.ru site -> firmware database, and recover your ROM update package.
You have to pay attention and flash ONLY packages that matches your build number first 9 characters. Like "BLN-L21C432Bxxx", for example, will work only on a BLN-L21C432Bxxx. Flash only packages with PV at the end of the name.

I think it's a manual process as its submitted in Google forms, even I have requested a unlock code on Saturday, I can't remember where I stored the original one or weather if I ever saved it at all. hello guys, today stupidly I wanted to install oreo on my honor 8 European (starting from the firmware l09-c432b403) through the Redlotus method (great guide helped me to do a clean flash of the system) now I'm with a brick with bootloader automatically locked after the installation of oreo and I do not know how to reshuffle it since it does not light up ... can you make a miracle? :crying: :crying:

You should always backup your bootloader unlock key instead of requesting it everytime. Anyways, once you do get your unlock key, unlock the bootloader and do the following steps to restore your device:
Grab Honor View 10 TWRP from here: https://dl.twrp.me/berkeley/ and flash it using the command below:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk twrp.img
Replace twrp.img with the name of the recovery.
You now need EMUI 5 firmware. Go to firmware finder and download the firmware which is FullOTA-MF-PV (must have PV in the end). Copy the firmware to your SD-card. For you it should be B394: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1774/g1755/v101649/f1/full/update.zip
Now reboot your device to TWRP. It might take some time to boot to TWRP so do wait.
Once rebooted, install the update.zip file.
Reboot to system from TWRP. Your device will automatically perform a second stage install and a complete data reset.
Hooray, you're back to EMUI 5.
Now again unlock bootloader and flash EMUI 5 TWRP. Now install this zip: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/...-L09_hw_eu/update_data_full_FRD-L09_hw_eu.zip
Perform a final factory reset via erecovery and you're done.
