Hi everyone. First of all, sorry if my english isn't correct, I'm from Spain.
The problem with this phone is that the default saturation settings are too low, making the photos look horrible. On the default camera app, you can change this value, but once you close an reopen the app, it returns to it's default value, so you have to change the settings every time you enter the app. Also, if you use another aplication, like Instagram, and you want to take a storie, you can't change the saturation, which is a bad thing. The sensor of this phone is very good, but it isn't well optimized. My question is, can I change something on the phone to increase the default saturation of the camera? Maybe editing something on the build.prop. One thing I have to mention is that I don't have root, but I can obtain it, if it is necessary. I insert 2 example images, so you can see what I'm saying.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. The version of android is 7.0 and the custom compilation version is Mars_pro_20170925, it is the last OTA that I've received.

Hi,
i would like to have more frames per secund for videos, or another options for better video quality. Bacause i would like to make screenshots from videos this the pc, but there are all bad
an example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
you can change fps in registry:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Recparam\
in every folder there is value "FrameRate" default set to 15, try change it higher.
don't know if its actually changing something...tell if you see any difference.

You want a proper camera, not a phone! Seriously, though, the frame rate of the TD2 is not fixed at 15fps, it varies depending on the light level up to a maximum of about 18-19fps. I doubt you'll be able to make it go higher even by "hacking" the registry because of the limits of processing power available.
In any case, the blurring in the pictures is typical of stills of moving objects shot with the video mode of most pocket cameras, it's not the TD2 which is at fault. A lot will depend on the light level, movement will be "frozen" best in direct sunlight.
Sorry, posted twice because xda so slooowwww...
No seriously, you need to get a proper camera, smart phones by their nature are jack of all trades master of none
This application is built to enhance the photo quality stored in the Android contact. Android system only supports contact photo in the resolution of 200 x 200. It is not good enough to be displayed in full screen when users are using add-in incoming call screens such as Answer Calls by Gesture (ACG).
HDC can capture high quality photo from the phone camera or existing image files in your device. As usual, you are able to crop the photo before setting to the contact. The photo resolution is chosen for you automatically according to your device. No worry on wasting storage spaces on over-high quality image.

Approaching 200 downloads just after initial released for 1.5 days. Give it a try. Just have it updated. Now users can choose half screen resolution for their entry level devices. Better performance to use with Answer Call by Gesture (ACG).
I have a Samsung Focus on a custom ROM. I really don't know what happened but the text color of my Focus has changed from white to teal. Maybe a friend or someone messed up the settings, but I want to get it back to the default text color. This is a major problem especially in the black background where the white text is replaced with teal when the theme is in some other color.
On the white background, the text comes in teal only in the pictures hub, while it doesn't in any other place. My guess is something's wrong in the registry editor and it needs to be rectified. If there's anyway to correct this problem it would be helpful.
I've attached a the links of a couple of images of the phones to explain the problem better.

Check under:
My Device\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Themes\ either 0 or 1. That is my best guese. Good luck.
Yes, I know about that, but what values have to be changed?

I think it's under the folder "1" for dark themes, and change the TextNeutralColor from #XXXXXXX to #FFFFFFFF (which is white)
Hope this helped you
There seems to be a white hue or shadow around the text on my note. I can't recall if this was there originally or if this is some setting my kids somehow found that I cannot find. It's pretty annoying though. It doesn't show up on screenshots but I took a screenshot and then took a picture with my phone and you can see the white banding on the photo that isn't on the screenshot.
Is this a setting, a Samsung thing or something gone wrong with my hardware?

Photo of Screen:
Yes there's a setting for this.
What you are seeing is sharpening that is added to the screen by default (note - it won't be saved in your drawing, it's added by the Note's screen). There is a setting called "Screen mode" (if I remember correctly) under "Display". If you change this to "Movie" it disables the colour boost and the sharpening. You'll still have good colour and sharpness, it just won't have extra boost applied.
Setting this to movie was one of the first things I did, after I realised everything was over-sharpened and over-saturated. They do this so it looks good in a showroom next to a bunch of other displays by other manufacturers. On its own you probably will prefer accuracy over mega-saturation and mega-sharpness.
Ahh.. much better. Thank you!

Hey folks
Anyone else having some black dots/ink spots on their brand new Galaxy S7? I recognize this issue while watching movies on my phone at night...
This problem already exist on older AMOLED Display like the S3(old XDA thread-> http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/galaxy-s3-black-ink-spots-help-t1715936/page4)
, but was solved after this generation. Sadly they seem to be back now!
Can you plz test your device and giving some feedback, if i just got bad luck or is it a common issue again.
Use following setup to test it:
- use the uploaded "grey" pic or any super dark/grey picture
- be in a dark room. you cant check it at daylight
- set display brightness to manual and get set it to minimum brightness
I'll also will upload a picture to show you how it looks on my phone. But be aware that this dot is arranged with paint, since none of my cams can capture this issue. Anyway position and size are correct.
