Fake Share Internet Connection - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
I need something but can't find it anywhere;
Actually, my Internet Access Provider can check if I'm sharing connection via WiFi or USB (I don't know how ), and then they keep a record of how much data I share.
I would like to hide it, and be available to share it without notifying them.
Is it possible ? I don't even know if my message was clear, quite hard to explain...
Please feel free to ask me any question if it's unclear, I would like to find a solution for this
Thanks you awesome community !

I did try a quick search, but the term internet calling returned loads of results.
I couldn't see anything that actually referred to the SPV C600 or Tornado devices
Cause the configuration is not device specific
it is fake function!

how could you be sure you had used it to call around on internet UMA call instead of GSM network ?
Because I have no more credit on my prepaid GSM
Karhoe, I really respect you for your great tutorial and other helpful stuff, but I don't understand why people waste bandwidth to say "the answer's out there, I know, so go find it yourself."
If you're not going to give an immediately useful answer wouldn't it be easier just to leave him to his own devices?
I might not feel so strongly about this if we had more FAQs, stickies or relevant information in the wiki, but we don't. And even for those of us who aren't clueless when it comes to devising search terms or expressions, this site's search script is not the best I've ever met so I'm not as inclined to assume that people aren't looking before they post questions.

{SOLVED} How to configure VoIP/SIP client in WM6.
Another (very) good thread from the Tornado forum.
Here's a post with a cab file and a link to the same place my first link goes to.
I should also add that when a person is asking/talking about "internet calling" he or she should really be more clear.
Are we talking VoIP or SIP? Do you already have a service you subscribe to? (The answer to this second question emphasises the importance of the first question.)
Hi Exitao
Thanks for your helpful links
At the moment I'm not subscribed to any services.
I will have a good read through and then take it from there.
Once again
Thank You
NP. Please post back in this thread and let us know how you get things working.
Your trial and error can save others time. ;-)

[Q] Control Android phone over 3G network(non wifi)

Hi,
I'm looking forward to an answer to this as I don't seem to find anything relative anywhere. Is it possible to connect a droid over a 3G network(not wifi) from a remote location(A computer). We are actually trying to develop a project where a android phone(xperia ray) will be mounted on a bot and will be controlled by DTMF and video feed will be sent via 3G video call. We want to implement a few more functions and hence we are looking forward to establish a remote session via a computer. I don't know what logic to be used to code, or if there is any existing solution to this. Need a few thoughts. Also need to send the sensor data remotely to the controller droid phone or computer. Help of any kind would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Yes its possible, but your questions are too broad to answer.
There are various ways you could implement it, be it ssh sessions, websites or more.
Get more familiar with writting apps and ask something specific, we can't do your work for you, you have to do some research yourself .

Hi thanks for the reply Sure. Ofcourse we don't expect anyone to write codes for us. Which method would you suggest , which will be easy to implement coding/learning wise? I'm good at websites with php
Thanks.
One site that I've found that can do anything with the phone over 3g, is webkey. I don't know if it's what you're looking for, but it seems like it may be.

[Q] Android Remote Statistics App

Hey guys,
Forgive me if this is not the proper forum location to post this.
I have a question about an android system information app. My company is looking at using a very locked down smartphone in the retail stores as a SIP phone over WiFi. Essentially these phones would only be good for wifi calling through our network. I have been able to lock the phone down pretty good but I am having a little bit of trouble finding an app that will monitor the phone and report statistics back to us (through a web browser or email). Basically we would need to remotely check the usage/stats but we don't really want to use something like airdroid or teamviewer as this would disrupt the users usage. Any ideas on a good app? I haven't been able to find anything and I know you guys are digital wizards..
Thanks in advance guys!

[Completed] [Q] how to hack into a open wifi network which asks for login.

hey guys , In my college there is wifi connection and its a open connection and when connected my phone prompts to sign in but i want to hack it and use the internet without loging in . I saw many things like droidvpn and ssh tunneling but i dont now how to use them and i want to hack in very badly.
please help me finding a way to hack into it from my mobile.
If the network requires you to use a password, please get one. Your university has security measures, like requiring people to put in passwords, for a reason.
I think perhaps you're confused as to the purpose of this website. The purpose of this website is not as tool in which to find ways to hack wifi networks or other illegal activities. This site was created for developers to share their work and for users to enjoy and appreciate their efforts. Now if your intent for starting an account here was to seek out unlawful ways in which to do things such as what you're asking for help to do in your OP, then this is the wrong place for you.
Please familiarize yourself with the rules.

[Completed] [Q] Question about hotspot security

Hi to everyone, this is my first post even if I've often read this beautiful forum. I have a question about hotspot capabilities in CyanogenMod 12 Lollipop (5.0.2). I had my S4(jftlexx) personal WPA protected hotspot (though with a very dummy password) and was sharing connection with my girlfriend, when suddenly looking at the phone I found out two devices where connected. As soon as I was aware I stopped the hotspot and now here's my question: if someone was able to deduct my hotspot password and connected to my personal hotspot, was it able to browse my personal file and eventually steal it?
I'm asking because I have on my phone very sensible data, that should remain on my own. I know that it's not directly possible without a dedicated app installed, like an FTP server (i have superbeam installed even I'm 100% sure its server was not running and sharing nothing), but someone with some knowledge and hacking intentions could be able to do this? thank you, and sorry, I'm a little in panic
We see you have also posted your question here http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/hotspot-security-t3100751
