I'd imagine the sensor would be inop if using the sensor cover. I think these look better than the dbrand, but I can't say until I receive them.

Why's that?
I passed on them in the past as they do the folding corner thing. The V30 doesn't seem to do that.

The cutouts do not match up well. It looked tacky overall. Trying to get the back and front sections to fold together well did not work either. Again, the overall appearance was tacky. I had bought it for an iPhone 6s+.
Got the skins today. For their original price, it's not worth it in my opinion. The dbrand are better. If dbrand had matte clear, I would've gotten those as I like the clear matte skin look. It makes the back of the v30 match the fingerprint scanner (although it covers up that beautiful finish LG designed.) But in the long run, it'll keep it from scratching. It also came with a camera cutout in matte and that looks really good and may add some extra protection. I ordered 4 skins so I'm pretty much set for life. I'll post up some pics soon.

Just an FYI. Ultra Case's "The One" case can be found on ebay for around 5 bucks instead of the ridiculous 20 they want on their web site. It wouldn't surprise me if this "black" case is on ebay too.

Thats not the same case from Ultra-case I should be getting the real one this week and I will post some pics. The one in your link is a soft plastic and the Ultra-case is a hard plastic snap-on that only covers the back of the phone and also doesn't cover really any of the bottom, look again. http://www.ultra-case.com/product.php?pID=449

The point I was making is ultra case is selling a $3 case for 20 bucks and it wouldn't surprise me if their "Black" case shows up on ebay for a few bucks too. I already have a nice, blue hard shell case that offers more than just covering the phone's back for 20 bucks.
Has anyone found an ultra slim soft semi-transparent case for the 6p? something like 0.3mm or 0.5mm like this:

I would post a link to all those examples but I cant post links yet.
All these have a soft matte finish with all around coverage (hate the ones that are cut out at the bottom and top) and a semi transparent finish that I think would look great. They would still show off the back of the 6p without fully covering it. Any help finding something like this?
I think a smoke case similar like the ones above would look great with the graphite 6p and a tempered glass screen protector. Almost fully naked 6p but with some protection.

Thanks for those suggestions, had already looked at all those. Don't exactly fit the bill of what I'm looking for. Look fairly thick. Since Orzly made a 0.5mm case for last year's nexus 6, hopefully they make one for the 6p.

Reports say the Google one is a bit loose fitting.

That one looks good except that it has the top and bottom open. Hate that. It digs into your fingers when holding it and resting the bottom of the phone on your pinky when using it.
Still searching for something like Veil XT or Peel

I had the Peel on my iphone and it was absolutely slick but I doubt peel or caudabe will make one for the nex :/

Oh! So close. Would there be one that does have the sensor cutout? I'm looking for one of these hard cases that cover the bump glass (unlike the Spigen one) and if they're translucent, I want matte.
Not sure if others concur, but I find the phone very slippery due to the smooth plastic back cover (referring to white version here, though not sure if colour makes a difference).
Other than installing a 'bumper' style cover that makes the phone much larger (and noticeably heavier), what solutions do you suggest?
Can the back cover be replaced with a Nexus 5 style back cover (if available)? Or are there thin stickers that can instill more grip (e.g. sandpaper finish)?
I got the darker version and yeah, the back is kinda slippery. I also looked for backstickers, like what slickwraps and dbrand are offering, but I didn't find anything.
Today I ordered the official xiaomi plastic cases and I'm curious how thick it will make the Mi4C. Maybe still thin enough that I'll keep it...
I have to admit, I am happy I ordered a case with the phone, in my situation, the Nillkin Frosted Shield. Big improvement, but if dbrand had something, I would be happy!

I did he same as TheNacho. I bought a Nillkin Frosted Shield and I really like it. In my opinion the case is very thin and gives it a good grip, it also feels like a good quality case with perfect fit.
It do also give a small small edge around the screen, which covers the screen a little bit if you put the phone down with the screen downwards (or if you drop it)

I've already forgotten the hardcover Yeah, I had both. The hardcover began pretty fast to crack at the corners (because of the pressure?).
The TPU was a bit more stable, but it began to crack near the headphone jack after a while.
@rob rich got it today (came in 3 days) and its bulkier than the image on ebay. The back is not completely transparent like the rest of the case but a foggish white. But I can grip it easily and thats good for me.

So you're not happy with the Nillkin case you got? I would suggest taking a look at AliExpress or eBay, loads of cases available there and I'm sure you'll find something good.

I drop phones but not too much so I always buy a case. O didn't use the mi4c for 2 weeks because my case wasn't here but had to use it in the end.
Anyway, I ordered last month and its still not here yet. Looks slim but won't know till it gets here

Does it fit good?
I just received this PU soft case which looks like leather. Even has a grainy texture. Comes in black or brown. I chose black as I have the Black Obsidian Mate 9. When i first saw it listed on eBay i thought it would look tacky, but i took the plunge and ordered it.
It arrived today and looks awesome on my phone. It has a shiny gold metallic border which makes my phone look like a premium model. Also the case is very very thin. It almost seems part of the phone. None of this thick plastic edge rolled over on the front glass.
As a result I changed my Huawei theme to black and gold to match the case. All. Coordinated now.

Looks very nice. Personally I like the case to stick past the screen edge a little, otherwise it's easier to damage the screen. This one looks basically flush.

If i pass my thumb over the edge i can feel a bump. I would say it is around 1-2mm higher than the display however it barely rolls over the edge on to the screen which i like.
I wish this was available in US

Gotta roll with the Cruzerlite Defender case. Nothing else compares. This and some tempered glass, and it's damn near bulletproof now ?
Just a fyi I was rocking this case for weeks. Eventually my phone fell out of my pocket (not far only 1 ft) and the screen shattered completely. The raise on the screen is not enough... If it lands on the side or back you are probably OK.
Went back to my old case since I had to replace my screen...
I preordered the case and got it today. It's awesome. Just what i wanted. I took the frosted one , i wanted to keep the white look of the phone. All the cases i found had that ugly shiny texture. Wow that's a super good deal. You'll love it. It's so much better in real and the texture is really amazing.
I have this case since day one and no problems what so ever. To be honest I love this case so much I'm super gentle when putting my phone down lol.

It's got a very slight raised lip around the camera cutout which means that the camera glass is protected. Definitely don't think that this is the strongest case on the market, but since the back of the phone is plastic not sure how strong a case needs to be.
These are on Amazon under a diff name for cheap. I can't post links cause I'm new, but just search "Slim Fit Google Pixel 3a". It was about $8 when I got it, but seems to have jumped up to $13.
Absolutely love mine. The milky white case on a white 3a is so dam sexy. Be careful putting it on, as I cracked my first one (they replaced it free ), as it's a super tight fit. Use the little tool it comes with.
If you love minamilistic, this is the case to get. Keeps the back nice and dry, where the stock back gets greasy after a few days from hand oils building up. This case stays dry for weeks and you don't have to constantly clean it.
If you are comfortable with Taobao, I bought a exactly same case on Taobao for 28 CNY (~4 USD).
