Was gonna order from there too! but the 2-6wk delivery time put me off!

Yea fair enough, mine took just over a week to come, the wait isn't too bad if you've already got a case.
To be fair I'd of paid an extra couple of ££ to have it in a couple of days instead of risking a 6 week wait.

Just wondering how much thickness do these casses add to the desire? Is it the same amount of thickness as the nexus one's case from mobilefun adds? Thanks. As i am looking for a thinner case as it needs to fit into my pdAir VX1 pouch.. :S The nexus one case adds to much to it (as i bought one from ebay)

it's probably a tiny bit thinner but not by much. its much better fitting than the nexus one case from Mobile Fun, it covers the edge around the screen it also feels generally nicer to hold.

For me it was the £99.99 price which put me off! (That's the original item, as mentioned in the first post)

I really don't think it is going to be any thinner than the nexus one specific cases.

I don't know whether it will fit in a pouch though.

Thanks I guess I'll have to go shopping with the phone in hand and see if a case fits the pouch. That's hard to do considering the phone isn't available here...maybe when I'm back on holiday in the UK I'll try and find a solution. Might get something similar to the zagg invisishield to protect the phone for know.

I've waded through what seems like 100 pages and I'm still no closer to getting anything! Seems I need a 1) thin film screen protector, 2) some sort of gel/silicone case to protect the phone from drop-damage when I'm using it and 3) a general purpose case/jacket to protect it from keys/drop damage/rain. But there's no way of knowing whether it'll fit into case 3 if it's in case 2! Sellers seem happy to advertise stuff as fitting the desire when buyers report that it doesn't, and you have the usual ebay sellers, typically in hong kong/china offering 6 week delivery times and no ability to return stuff for a refund if it turns out that you've got a crap one/it doesn't fit/isn't actually for the desire.
Does anyone have all 3 protections on their phone and who cares to share it with us (me)? And does anyone know the difference between these two items?

The first is a TPU case a sort of soft plastic like those flexible rulers you can buy, the second is a floppy silicone case.
Neither have a hole for the volume rocker you have to press through the case, ideally there should be a bump over the volume rocker to make it easy to press.

I went out brought the case the OP suggested and another case of amazon just to see the difference between them. the one from amazon hasn't arrived yet, however with regards to the ebay purchase the case arrived within two days of payment, so can't really knock the delivery time on this.
Its a snug fit, the phone doesn't move about within the case which is always reasuring. the case is reasonably thin, but does add a substantial weight and a thickness of about 3m to your phone. And the back of the case does pick up fingerprints quite easily, my old school ps3 doesn't pick up fingerprints quite as easily as this case does.
I would post photos of the case and the phone, but unforntunately my phone is my camera when whilst I'm at uni. I'll try to borrow a friends camera when I get both cases together to give you guys a little run through.

In all seriousness, I got the one from eBay too and it's pretty good I'd say. It'll do for now, I'd prefer a more matt/siliconey feel but so I'll keep searching.

Just got one of these to allay my fears of breaking my phone. It does feel a lot chunkier and it's certainly not as sexy now. I might get used to it or find something else.

Hahaham we both knew I meant 3mm. However adding 3m to my phone would sure that if I dropped it, it wouldn't even reach the ground.

Feels really good. Design is okay and it fits perfectly.
Got it for about 3pounds... ~4Euro...

MOFI Kangaroo Pouch for G2x, Multi-colors!

Hey guys,
I found some nice looking sleeve's from Amazon from a company in the UK, NGWorld. They are available in Black, Orange, Coffee, Grey, Red and Green. They also have some leather sleeves if your into that sort of thing. I think they look a bit too flashy. Anyway I ordered the Black Kangaroo Pouch and hope it's a winner for my G2x (took me a while, was trying to decide between black, orange and green). I like the look and feel of the device so I thought this option would be better to keep the phone protected while in my pocked from dust/lint. I'm so careful with my phone I'm not too worried about drop protection or scratches while in use. Thought this may be useful for anyone looking for a case/sleeve/pouch for their shiny new toy.

I plan on using both the speck hard case and this pouch when It comes in. Right now I'm using a soft microfiber like bag that I had for some sunglasses to keep the phone lint free and shiny while in my pocket. I hope the phone + hardcase will fit inside the pouch otherwise I'll have to make a choice. They sure look pretty nice though!

The pouch came in today. That thing came fast. I ordered it on the 20th and it came today. Overall this is a nice little pouch. Fits the phone perfectly, and I love how they give you enough room in front to store things. I just put my drivers license in there when I get lazy and not carry my wallet around.

The case is soft, so I guess it only protects a minimum with little padding. Not sure if it would survive a fall of some sort.

Can you update when you receive the pouch if the phone with the candyshell fits alright? I'm considering going the same route.

Could you post some pictures? I know there are pictures on amazon but I want to see it in a real life photo not a staged one. Does it also collect dust?

The Mofi case will most likely collect some pocket lint and dust but seems easy enough to clean off and doesn't specifically attract anything in my short experience. That's the point of the pouch though right? It has a very nice soft feel to the outside and especially the inner liner portion. I am very satisfied with the quality and construction.

Unfortunately the phone does not fit with the candyshell hard case. It can be forced 75% or maybe all the way but I didn't want to push my luck! It's too tight of a fit to be a every day protection option. I'll probably end up returning or selling the Speck candyshell hardcase and just stick with the mofi pouch as I like the look and type of protection it provides better. Also the Speck case is much to hard to take the device out of. I don't enjoy pushing hard on the camera module every time I have to take the phone out of the case! (Which seems to be the only way to take out the phone from the Speck case as per the instructions that came with the case!)

I would generally agree with this statement, While it would certainly protect from small falls on softer surfaces I wouldn't trust it beyond 6 inches or so. The case does feel great in the hand though and I really like the extra pocket in the front and the closing ball and string latch on the top. The case feels very well constructed and like it will last a good while. Great deal for $10.99 with shipping from the UK and about a 5-7 day shipping time!

If I hadn't gotten black it would have been either orange or green. Either way I think you would stand out! I think those colors would not show dust or lint near as much as the black. I'm always a sucker for black though and am very happy with the purchase. I was real surprised at the quality of the pouch for the price, I don't think you can go wrong no matter which color you decide on!

thanks for the pics and update kflanegan. I might actually pick this one up just because of the price. Still looking for a belt holster similar to that of the Droid X where it simply clicks into the holster. Hopefully one will come out soon..

I didn't think it would fit at all. I wasn't really fond of the Speck case tho. I ordered the PhantomSkinz clear armor (similar to Zagg, for less and you get 2 sets) and it feels great with it.

I wish! I've been looking for a very thin and small profile aluminum or aluminum type bumper for a long time now. Keep me updated if you find one.

Looks exactly like the one I got off a seller on ebay, for a similar price too. It's well made with no signs of it being a cheap fake. Makes the phone so much easier to grip compared to stock battery cover.

I just use a cheap tempered glass sp with it and I'm good to go. [emoji13]

Solutions to slippery Mi4C

Not sure if others concur, but I find the phone very slippery due to the smooth plastic back cover (referring to white version here, though not sure if colour makes a difference).
Other than installing a 'bumper' style cover that makes the phone much larger (and noticeably heavier), what solutions do you suggest?
Can the back cover be replaced with a Nexus 5 style back cover (if available)? Or are there thin stickers that can instill more grip (e.g. sandpaper finish)?

I got the darker version and yeah, the back is kinda slippery. I also looked for backstickers, like what slickwraps and dbrand are offering, but I didn't find anything.
Today I ordered the official xiaomi plastic cases and I'm curious how thick it will make the Mi4C. Maybe still thin enough that I'll keep it...

I have to admit, I am happy I ordered a case with the phone, in my situation, the Nillkin Frosted Shield. Big improvement, but if dbrand had something, I would be happy!

Yea no problem, I ordered one from China but its still not here so ordered this so should be here next week

I did he same as TheNacho. I bought a Nillkin Frosted Shield and I really like it. In my opinion the case is very thin and gives it a good grip, it also feels like a good quality case with perfect fit.
It do also give a small small edge around the screen, which covers the screen a little bit if you put the phone down with the screen downwards (or if you drop it)

Hm, I really don't know. The phone looks very nice without a case, but it surely look very nice with the case as well

I once bought a 0.3mm ultra-thin case for my Mi4. But it broke pretty soon... maybe 0.3mm is just too thin, I don't know

I've already forgotten the hardcover Yeah, I had both. The hardcover began pretty fast to crack at the corners (because of the pressure?).
The TPU was a bit more stable, but it began to crack near the headphone jack after a while.

@rob rich got it today (came in 3 days) and its bulkier than the image on ebay. The back is not completely transparent like the rest of the case but a foggish white. But I can grip it easily and thats good for me.

I'm not afraid of let it fall (never happens to me) but I'm afraid of scratches on the back and on camera lens without case...
I'm sure there are some cool cases in China, so i would be happy if someone could point me in the right direction.

So you're not happy with the Nillkin case you got? I would suggest taking a look at AliExpress or eBay, loads of cases available there and I'm sure you'll find something good.

I preordered the case and got it today. It's awesome. Just what i wanted. I took the frosted one , i wanted to keep the white look of the phone. All the cases i found had that ugly shiny texture. Wow that's a super good deal. You'll love it. It's so much better in real and the texture is really amazing.
I have this case since day one and no problems what so ever. To be honest I love this case so much I'm super gentle when putting my phone down lol.

Do you like them? Can you show me how the black one looks like?

Does this case protect the camera glass a little ? Or is it so thin that the camera glass touches the surface on which the phone is put?

It's got a very slight raised lip around the camera cutout which means that the camera glass is protected. Definitely don't think that this is the strongest case on the market, but since the back of the phone is plastic not sure how strong a case needs to be.

These are on Amazon under a diff name for cheap. I can't post links cause I'm new, but just search "Slim Fit Google Pixel 3a". It was about $8 when I got it, but seems to have jumped up to $13.
Absolutely love mine. The milky white case on a white 3a is so dam sexy. Be careful putting it on, as I cracked my first one (they replaced it free ), as it's a super tight fit. Use the little tool it comes with.
If you love minamilistic, this is the case to get. Keeps the back nice and dry, where the stock back gets greasy after a few days from hand oils building up. This case stays dry for weeks and you don't have to constantly clean it.

If you are comfortable with Taobao, I bought a exactly same case on Taobao for 28 CNY (~4 USD).
