Xperia LT15i ROOTING HELP

I have posted on here before but no-one bothered to answer so I'm posting again.
I need to know how to root my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc LT15i. I have the ICS 4.0.4 standard SE issue installed with a locked bootloader. I have followed several tutorials on this site and ended up having a phone that keeps crashing after starting up.
1. Where is the ROMs required to install before rooting?
2. Where is the tool to root this phone?
3. Where is the latest ROM for ICS?
Also, clear instructions would be appreciated - please don't direct me to another forum topic because that didn't help at all.
google or search

Ok i f ur problem is that the phone lags and hangs then u just make facrory reset
if that doesn't work then u can use this software
http://www.unlockroot.com/download.html
download, install and run unlockroot.exe then select root unlocker>press root>a dialog box with all connected devices appears select ur device from it follow on screen instructions and flash any custom rom available for your device
Hi
For rooting with DoomLord's method you need to flash the kernel to the previous version (.567) then apply his method, then flash .587 kernel
Search the forum to find the appropriate kernel files
For Flashtool check here
And finally, once you have done it, get xParts from the Play Stores and install CWM
First it will let you know if your device is rooted or not and CWM is always useful
Hope it helps.

[Q] How to Root Sony ericsson Xperia Neo with Android Version 4.0.4

i tried to root my sony ericsson xperia neo of android version 4.0.4 using different tools but i was unsuccessful where in the superuser app is not appearing..then i came to know their is a different procedure to root the 4.0.4 version phone..can anyone plse help me with this ...so that am planning to install CyanogenMod 10 on my phone .....
plse help me with the steps of how do i carry out this entire process untill i get cynogenmod 10 installed..
Try this Software!
If u r on any stock ROM try this software Eroot 1.3.4 (Google it and you will get dev hosted download link )
Connect your cell with MSC and Debugging ON and press root button. Your cell will be rooted in few minutes.
If you are not on stock ROM , then mostly all custom ROMs are pre-rooted . Even if they aren't search superuser.zip and flash via CWM your cell will be rooted in no time
If my solution was helpful, feel free to press Thanks button :fingers-crossed:

[Completed] Bricked Xperia Tipo, please help

Hello XDA,
So a few days ago, I rooted my Xperia Tipo st21i using King Root
(http://www.kingroot.net)
My reason for rooting was to install a custom ROM, which I knew would speed up my phone and offer more customisation options.
So I followed some tutorials on Youtube, I got CWM installed, but didn't unlock boot loader.
First I backed up using Titanium, and I have the backup on my iMac
I used these tutorials:
Install Rom: https://youtu.be/sG1NClM9aeA
CWM Install:https://youtu.be/0MjdHbAcAgM
As instructed in the first tutorial I put the zip of Super Jelly Bean 8.0 on my device and used CWM to install.
But... I didn't wipe
And it bricked...
I've tried the rubber band trick as mentioned here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/help/xperia-tipo-wont-help-t2510628
My phone always shows a black screen even when I hold power for 3 seconds and I can't find help anywhere.
Thanks for feedback!
