Hello XDA,
So a few days ago, I rooted my Xperia Tipo st21i using King Root
(http://www.kingroot.net)
My reason for rooting was to install a custom ROM, which I knew would speed up my phone and offer more customisation options.
So I followed some tutorials on Youtube, I got CWM installed, but didn't unlock boot loader.
First I backed up using Titanium, and I have the backup on my iMac
I used these tutorials:

As instructed in the first tutorial I put the zip of Super Jelly Bean 8.0 on my device and used CWM to install.
But... I didn't wipe
And it bricked...
I've tried the rubber band trick as mentioned here:

My phone always shows a black screen even when I hold power for 3 seconds and I can't find help anywhere.

Hi I was following a tutorial about changing the themes on the xperia because I despise seeing the blue crap all day llong, the problem I that I followed that guide step by step rooted with SuperOneClick and everything, everything was great until I came with the xRecovery of doom and the "Install Update.zip" part on xRecovery, after I did that my Xperia mini pro got frozen on the Sony Ericsson screen aaccording to what I saw all the people that tried that tutorial had no issues, Why me!
I know there are a lot of posts about this the problem is that none of those had helped me please help I really need my cellphone
PS: according to the tutorial I only was supposed to back up my cell phone with the inner backup restore app on the device, but I CANNOT EVEN RESTORE! please if somone can help me as fast as posible tomorrow is o¿monday and I cannot be without cellphone

Did u do a backup with xrecovery before applying new theme? I had same issue with dodgy update.zip but was able to boot into recovery and restore to original.

I need to know how to root my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc LT15i. I have the ICS 4.0.4 standard SE issue installed with a locked bootloader. I have followed several tutorials on this site and ended up having a phone that keeps crashing after starting up.
1. Where is the ROMs required to install before rooting?
2. Where is the tool to root this phone?
3. Where is the latest ROM for ICS?
Also, clear instructions would be appreciated - please don't direct me to another forum topic because that didn't help at all.

Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately I can't find any custom ROMs for your device on XDA. You should be able to root the device using vroot though (can't provide a link but if you Google seach "vroot" the first result should be what you need. You should also be able to put CWM recovery onto the phone by following these instructions:
[GUIDE] How to ReadBack ROM using SP FlashTool, to make the CWM recovery, to install SuperUser (get root) etc..

hey guys,
i have alcatel one touch flash. And one day by mistake i pressed the build.prop button in mtk droid tools which changed my build.prop and the phone got stuck on bootloop so i tried many thing to revive it and by another mistake i wiped the system so in twrp it showed no OS installed so i searched all over internet and found a cwm backup in xda and i restored the system using cwm but there still seem to be some problem. because after the bootlogo the screen just went black(blank) nothing happens. I really need help plzzz help someone out there.

I'm not able to provide the link as i'm a new member and xda won't allow me. so all u have to do is type tcl 6042d in google search and the there will be a site named working tutorial how to update tcl 6042d.

I own a Intex Aqua 3g. Recently i rooted my phone and accidentally removed the phone app. in order to get that back i decided to get the stock rom of the phone and install it. But i failed as i formatted it and now when i try the download only option on the sp flash tool nothing is working it would show download DA(100%) in red. Choosing other option such as format or upgrade wont work either.
I seriously need the phone to be restored.
For this purpose I request your esteemed assistance.
