Hi, I needed some help regarding getting my gamepad to get detected by my Honor 8. Apparently this gamepad works flawlessly with my PC and old android smartphone but with HONOR 8 it is not getting detected with the OTG. Any solutions would be welcome.
Only Huawei's own USB-C cables work for the Honor 8 properly.

I have a new Chuwi V10HD 3G dual OS Windows 8.1 and Android KitKat 4.4. This only has a micro USB 2.0 port - no other I/O ports.
I want to be able to use the capability of the USB OTG 2.O spec - if I understand it correctly - to be able to attach and utilize an external USB 2.0 device (for example, hard drive, flash drive, keyboard, mouse, USB to Ethernet adapter, external display, etc.) while simultaneously charging the Chuwi tablet.
Chuwi says the port is a USB OTG 2.0 spec.
Hours of internet searching gives mixed impressions of whether this can be done.
More hours reading posts here on xda-developers also yields conflicting views and experiences. Some members describe how they've had success by using various Y adaptors or multi-port devices - or even hard wiring their own cables. Others say they've tried that approach with no love. Still others say the OTG spec doesn't allow for that and that it's physically impossible to do both at once.
Then there's the Pluggable Pro 8 docking station which, for a hefty price, says it will charge while connecting external devices.
What is the current state of the offerings now? Does any product really offer a solution now? Is it even possible?
To a layman like me, it doesn't seem like this should be so hard and shrouded in such mystery. <sigh>
Hi there,
You'd be best served asking for help from the experts who own your device, here:

Hi all! I believe all of us felt that the USB cable that Huawei included for Mate 9 is rather short...
I am not very familiar with Huawei Super Charge technology and USB Type C. Hence I would like to check with experts here whether is there any good or available magnetic usb type c cable for Mate 9 that capable of doing quick charge.

I'm not aware of any cables that support supercharge other than the original Huawei cable.
Methinks there's an opportunity for someone to figure out the pin out of the cable and then build their own.

Yes something like this. But this will not support Huawei Mate 9 Super Charge right? As I heard it's the pin that matters which brings down to.. why? Hahaha! Aww man!
Hello,
I bought Cafele Magnetic cable with replaceable 3 heads (usb-c, micro usb and for Apple). When I tried the cable with Mipad 4, it worked. But when I tried with Mate9 and P30 Pro, computer says "usb device doesn't recognize", but charges. I tried with 3 pc's and all the same result. Is there anyone who experienced it? Is there any way to make these cables work with Huawei?
Hello guys,
I have a problem with my OP7 pro, I have this OTG hub NOVOO USB C Hub (8-in-1) HDMI 4K,...
Originally bought for the Mate 20 pro, and was working fine except on this OP7 pro (and even without the IpadOS 13). When I connect it to the OP with and SD card it seems not connected at all, even if the OTG mode it's on.
Do you have any solution? What can I do? Other USB c key seems to works fine, anyway.
Thanks

There used to be an option in developer options.
Enable usb host or something on the OnePlus 5 may still be the same.

I found a solution to make the hdmi hub working, these are the steps, you need to follow them in order otherwise it'll not work:
Connect the hdmi cable to the hub and the tv.
Then connect the usb c of the hub to the power source and wait 10 seconds.
Then connect to the phone and wait.
The power source needs to be always connected otherwise the hub doesn't work.

Hello guys could anyone just tell me is this a software problem or a hardware problem?
I have 2 devices oneplus 6 and oneplus 7 pro i have this bought this game hub so i can use keyboard and mouse to play games this hug support mouse and keyboard and charging while connecting the hub with the phone with type c version cable its working fine with the oneplus 7 pro but with the oneplus 6 ifni plug the hub i cant charge and play at the same time i only play without charging or i charge without playing and for this hub to work i have to turn on the otg option in both phones so is this a software or a hardware problem?
Good morning. I bought a cable type-c to dvi and connected to a monitor where the samsung galaxy send video correctly. why oppo find x2 lite doesn't work so even if i activated otg? perhaps this feature is not for this kind of connection? thanks
I don't think Oppo devices support MHL. Try using Chromecast instead.
