Hey guys I want to develop an app like forum or social media. If you have any suggestions, ideas , information, links please share in comment below.
As I know, for a forum, main application is a website application which hosts on a web server while APP is just a client in general.
Just for your reference.
According to your answer 1st I have to develop a website for the forum then I have to build the app with the web view ? What if without website?

hello everybody,
I just finished making a website.
It's a link database for android application, so it will contain lot of links to apk.
But we need the help of all to fill the website...
I will also make an app on android to download on-the-go.
here it is: link removed due to warez content
Welcome to forums you should contact our Admins before advertising a site
OK
If some admin ask me to, i'll remove it...
But I hope not, because I want to be known, and XDA is the place to go for android. I did never post but since my old windows mobile I was always there.
Site contains warez apps. Links removed. Closed.
Do not make further threads for this site, given it contains content in breach of XDA rules.
I would share with you this app that I discover on google play.
The name is NetX PRO and it is a very useful app for all people that wants to monitoring and manage the devices connected to the network.
I hope that this post will be useful for many people to manage their networks around the world.
Thread closed. Please review our posting guidelines here. You must provide a valid, direct download link and use the proper thread tags. Additionally, the app should be your own and not one that you found and want to share.

MOD EDIT:
Per the forum rules promoting social media is no longer allowed on XDA:

I'm currently setting up a Discord server for people with rooted Androids or people that have an Android that they would like to get rooted. This is a new server and currently the only member is me. Currently not even roles are set up, we are looking for active friendly staff to moderate the server. We are also looking for active developers who are willing to help people understand how to root their device. I realize we already have this whole forum here for this topic, but we may be able to provide much quicker support to people using Discord than we can with a forum. If you are interested please PM me for an invite link as I am not currently allowed to post links and do not want to upset the admins by trying to avoid the link filter. Hopefully this server can become as large and friendly as this forum is. If this forum post is not relevant than I understand that it needs to be taken down. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

5. Create a thread topic or post a message only once, this includes external links & streaming media.
As a large forum, we don't need unnecessary clutter. You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer, revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time so it might take a while before you receive an answer.
You can bump your unanswered question once every 24 hours
Duplicate threads and posts will be removed
Always post in an existing thread if a topic already exists, before creating a new thread.
Use our search function to find the best forum for your device.
Links to an external source are only allowed if relevant to the topic in hand. A description must be included, no copy & pasting from the original source.

XDA is the website where the development and sharing must take place, redirecting either the users or the developers to other websites or blogs it is not allowed or ... polite I would say ...

Hi there, just letting you know that there's a new dark mode version for Snapchat called NightSnap
It's working both on Android 32 Bit and 64 Bit architectures. It supports one of the newest Snap versions and it offers one of the best dark mode versions on Android. It's free of course.

@Nicell I've closed your thread and removed the reference to Telegram! Regarding social media links please observe that as an exemption from the last bullet of rule no. 5 of the XDA Forum Rules, we grant only developers the privilege to share references to their social media in their own development threads and if thorough support is provided in the thread. These conditions obviously don't apply to your posts, threads or you. Additional information is also available here:
Telegram Chat Channels - Way Forward
WhatsApp/Telegram Groups and Channels - Going Forward Hello XDA family! Just notifying all members that posting certain links to Telegram and other sites like WhatsApp is now allowed on XDA. What does that mean? We will allow links to messages...
forum.xda-developers.com
Please refrain for sharing of social media references unless within your own development threads and do not drag members away from XDA to social media!
