I'm currently setting up a Discord server for people with rooted Androids or people that have an Android that they would like to get rooted. This is a new server and currently the only member is me. Currently not even roles are set up, we are looking for active friendly staff to moderate the server. We are also looking for active developers who are willing to help people understand how to root their device. I realize we already have this whole forum here for this topic, but we may be able to provide much quicker support to people using Discord than we can with a forum. If you are interested please PM me for an invite link as I am not currently allowed to post links and do not want to upset the admins by trying to avoid the link filter. Hopefully this server can become as large and friendly as this forum is. If this forum post is not relevant than I understand that it needs to be taken down. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Hi there everyone!
I'd like to start a Discord server dedicated to our Huawei P9 devices, I already have a community set up for the Galaxy S6 and decided to make one for this phone too.
The Discord server will follow the same layout and text channels as my S6 community server with a #kernels channel to post kernels in, #benchmark_scores to share your Geekbench and/or Antutu benchmark results. We will also have a channel dedicated to battery saving tips, that means you can get more hours of screen on time and screen off time too, by reducing the software power consumption.
It will feature two help channels, one for the P9 and one for the P9 Lite.
I do hope you will join and help shape this community with me, thank you for at least clicking on this post and considering it.
Without further ado, here's the invite link to join: MOD EDIT: LINK DELETED
i tried to connect and join but error with the connection, why???

XDA is the website where the development and sharing must take place, redirecting either the users or the developers to other websites or blogs it is not allowed or ... polite I would say ...

Hi i have recently purchased a new P6a. I am coming from a oneplus 7 previous to this and most phones seem to have a community support group but ive googled around and could not find any telegram group for this phone. Could anyone point me in the right direction if there is a group out there.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hey guys,
So an android phone has all the components to serve as an ADAS system. flowpilot does exactly this. It's a project that builds on top of the world class openpilot and uses android/linux as a base to run.
You can see it working in action in these youtube videos:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=mt86H67DhE0
https://youtube.com/watch?v=06DLmtF6og4
https://youtube.com/watch?v=FBB2XRMej9M
The vision is to build a community of phones driving your cars.
Although it works well on many phones, there needs to be customised android ROMs that are lightweight, support things like OTG charging, etc.
Would love it if people expert in custom ROMs and android can join and help the community. We have phone brand channels such as samsung, oneplus, pixel on our discord too.
This thread will serve as a discussion, help thread for various android phones running flowpilot.
