I tried it out, it is the chinese version and its Android 5.1
It has many bugs for the international version, and the sim cards also dont get recognized.
I think the international version wont get the Nubia UI 5 update, but i hope there is someone else out there who is working on a rom like lineage OS or Ressurection Remix

Android Ice Cold Project ROM
For Lenovo A6000
Please note that I am not the author of this ROM!!
I am just posting this at this platform to hep others
I will not be responsible for any thing getting messed up in your device!!
This is a ROM(32-bit) by Android Ice Cold Project which I found on a devs-lab.com
Thus ROM is based on 5.1.1 and has free ram about from 370-440MB(This is after installing some basic apps including Facebook app which takes up a lot of memory)
I have been using this ROM for a couple of days and its great!
The only bug I found was the battery level/percentage doesn't change. It will only change when you power off your device and the boot after about 8-10 sec after.
Tested by me on A6000
Installation:-
Boot into TWRP
Wipe cache , dalvik, system , data(This will lead to data loss please back up your data first)
Flash ROM and then gapps(opengapps-arm-5.1-xxxx)
Reboot
You will be in AICP ROM
Bugs:-
Battery Percentage
If any more please post here
Download:-

If somebody can fix the battery bug this would be bugless and the best ROM for this device.

XDA Rules do NOT prohibit off-site URLs, but they do have some guidelines regarding off-site download link and those are:
Off-site downloads are permitted if the site is non-commercial and does not require registration.
Off-site downloads from sites requiring registration are NOT encouraged but may be permitted if both of the following conditions are met:
A) The site belongs to a member of XDA-Developers with at least 1500 posts and 2 years membership, who actively maintains an XDA-Developers support thread(s) / posts, related to the download.

The Download link in the post leads to Google Drive and as such, breaks no rules. The link below are functioning as Source Links. If you have a problem with a post, contact a moderator by using the report button, they are fast and efficient.
I flashed this rom and currently using. It is very smooth and snappy. I had trouble at the begining with the mobile data and the sim being in no service. I had to flash super su and through kernel adiutor edit the build prop to disable the double sim settings in order to get the sim fully working. It displays some sort of message at every reboot something in connection with the internal storage. For the battery bug I've tried every existing calibrator with no luck. This is the only major problem with this rom. Please devs take a look and provide a solution for this amazing ROM!!
@Element24
I think this ROM is not in development as of now.
It is ported by someone!
Thanks for trying it

To clear some doubts I didn't mean broke any laws/rules of XDA
I've found some websites that claim that there is now a Marshmallow ROM update for my device the LG L60 (X145) that is coming from xda-developers.
But when I visited xda-developers it seems that i cant find that ROM for my device. Now im wondering if that website seems true? Can you please give me the link of that marshmallow update for my device. Thank you very much.
Do NOT visit these sites. They link to ads, ads, and more ads. Some will even make you download stuff like fake antivirus software and the like, which contain viruses. Again, do not visit these sites, as they will probably scam you or load your phone with viruses. There is no Marshmallow update for your device, I am sorry to inform you. Try looking round the forums for something else you like.

I understand your opinion, but I've never known XDA to be tight on posting a recovery, and I've been here for years, and have have seen all sorts of GREAT guides and content. To redirect people to somewhere else to get something that could be easily posted here seems not only more against the rules, but also unethical if you're a Dev, like I used to be, unless, of course, it's something like complete source code, then that's what GitHub is for..
However, becauuuuuse I'm tired of dealing with the buggy older TWRP on my girl's phone, sure, I'll bite. So TeamMax is the group name on there?
Thanks,
