Hello Guys, I'm new here in rooting and all, I just received my Galaxy Tab yesterday so I'm still exploring, so let see you may not know at&t remove many things in there phones like installing unknown sources, that's technically my problem
I rooted my tab with SuperOneClick v1.6.5 and I root it, plus I also enable non-market apps but it doesnt work, I dont know if i root it wrong or it just didnt work. I click test and the software install SuperUser (This is the only thing I know that says my device is rooted)... I tried doing it twice but no avail.
FYI: I downloaded an .apk file and put it in my download folder, the tab recognize it but it doesnt want to install saying for some security reasons...
Yeah last one thing, does the Unlock Code, will unlock your phone? like unlocking my phone so that not only at&t sim card I can use??
Download "Root Checker" from market to see if you are rooted or not. And remember that you have to reboot after doing SuperOneClick to get root if you haven't done that already (at least I had to do that rooting a friends N1 a few days back).
Ok it says the root is good, and what do you mean reboot? My tab or laptop?
still my problem persist in the non-market apps, and the question what will happen if I "unlock" it?
NVM
I know now whats the problem, yeah i must reboot the tab to work, and it must be open and u also must open super user
EDIT: I forgot this but Why I cant unlock it, it says it failed...
Hey guys,
I just got a used S8+. Upon booting up it was a clean factory reset. I went forward with the setup.
When i open up Samsung Pay i get the "samsung pay access to samsung pay has been denied...." msg.
This phone is not rooted, i have downloaded a root check and comes back as false.
The person who had the phone never rooted the phone.
And i also get this notification " Security Notice, unauthorized actions have been detected..."
Also secure folder has issues.
Secure folder cannot be set up because unauthorized software was installed on the device.
Anyone know what could be wrong with it?
try reset with smart switch on pc.

The new SS does not allow resetting.
I just launched it and it said that.
Unless you know of a version that supports this.
Hi,
My name is adil. I am using a samsung GS8+ (SM-G955FD). So after i rooted my phone, suddenly the S Heath and the Samsung Pass stoped working when i tryed to open it said "Can't open app
For your security, Samsung Health can't be opened on a rooted phone.(0x110070null60N2430)". i searched and found that the error is caused by rooting the phone. So i unrooted it and installed a new stock firmware, and tried again. It still shows the phone is rooted. So please anyone can you help me

You have tripped your Knox that is why it's not working. There is no fix for a tripped Knox.
Check your knox:
Boot into download mode
Look for Warranty Void Line (1 = tripped/no good 0 = clean/good)
Like said above if knox tripped nothing to do
Isn’t that a work around for S Health ?? I’m sure there is, i don’t know about Samsung Pass, but S Health there is a work around. After your rooted you can get S Health working again, just search the xda forums.

How about flashing a room from this forum, like mickey room and root it, perhaps will get reed of that pre installed software, I'm just guessing that.
First I rooted my Samsung Galaxy J7 pro (SM-J730F). Then I noticed that I can't use some apps like Secure Folder, Samsung Health, Samsung pass etc. Then I reinstalled the official rom, thinking it will fix that problem. But that didn't fix the problem. In the settings, it says that my device's status is official. I can check for software updates. But when I go to use Samsung pass, Secure Folder etc. I can't use them. They say that my device is rooted. But my device isn't rooted anymore.
How can I fix that?? Please help me. I want to use those apps.
