I have a MTK 4G cell phone running 6.0 marshmellow 6735 chipset. I have read many older rooting posts for MTK devices with no luck. Can someone maybe point to a current tutorial concerning this. I have already downloaded the current SP USB and flash tool thanks to BOVIRUS. Thanks.

Am afraid your device can be rooted. It might not be supported.

I rooted mine Tecno Y4 ,but i've the Raw video for it .i'll give in 1 week after i finish editing the video.
I have tried many one click root methods but none of them seem to work. The phone has a MTK chipset so it doesn't have any custom recovery softwares installed. I'm searching for rooting methods from the past 6 days and haven't found anything that works.
Any help would be great.

I have used kingroot for android & windows version. but not got successful. getting device not adaptive in windows version kingroot.

I have an android 6.0 LG-H540 and I want to root this device, however, before I try that I want to make sure that I can Flash stock rom if anything bad happens while I'm rooting this device.
I tried to flash stock rom (KDZ) with LGUP and LG Flash tool with no success. I also tried different methods like this and this (Uppercut) but still no success.
LGUP detects the device but is showed as unknown and wont let me flash anything because it says the device is unknown
LG Flash tool always end up in error connecting to server?
And yes I Installed LG USB drivers before I installed any of this softwares
is there any other alternative?
is there someone who has the exact same device as me that have tried this and worked?
I have all of the same problems, still could not find a solution. I want to flash my h542tr lollipop kdz file in order to root the device.

we tried couple of processes including trying to unlock bootloader, we successfully got into bootloader, all commands were changed. none of usual command was working
there were multiple flash tools we tried but none of them was discovering device cause they were too old

this fastboot tool above was successfully discovering and working and executing command.
We also tried to use a MTK flash tool, but we are struggling to find and make a scatter file work.
we dont have enough knowledge to make it work so we decided to create this forum for getting some help from advanced users
