sorry i dont check the fourms every day or even regularly. i looked but couldnt find an existing thread, and search brought up nothing but old topics..

[Q] Is that ok to run a newer firmware with an older baseband?

Hey folks.
My setup:
I'm running CM 10.1.3 (android 4.2.2) on my device (s3 i9300) but the baseband is from a 4.1.2 firmware (which is the latest baseband released for my country).
My question is:
Is there any problem to run a firmware version with a baseband that came from another firmware version?
My guess is: As long as the "RIL" is matching the baseband, that's ok. Right?

So? any tips?

Sorry but no can do pal... Was to lazy to get out of the bed and turn on my pc to copy the OTA file b4 the update so I just took a screenshot, updated and posted here the screen

No updates yet for me.
However from the changelist from the screenshot it doesn't look like it's changing anything but an issue for Orange Poland's cellular network

Android version 4.4.2 with Sense 6

Sorry if it doesn't answer your question, but i find that all the .ftf are really just the same. I flashed the US .ftf and i live in UK i use everything just fine (i only use calls, sms and internet, not sure if you use anything else). Just incase you were worried about signals

i don't have OTA .. I think I never had.. i do all manually .. i don't care these useless things anymore .. i enjoy phone as it is . .all works..
