Search for MT7-L09C432B571 update package. Then unzip it and copy the UPDATE.APP, create a folder named 'dload' copy the extracted file. Open your Dialer app and type *#*#2846579#*#* and select Software Upgrade, SDCard update.

Make sure the ROM in the phone is new enough in the update chain to take the ROM though......
There's an order for these things.

How to downgrade with official desktop updater!?

Hey,
I tried to pot my Treo back to WM6 from Vodafone with the original updater, but it keeps telling me that my device is not supported because of language issues (Right now there is WM6.1 working on it in english and I need to flash the German WM6). when I open the installer with WINRAR I can see a couple of *.nbh files (cheeimg.nbh and cheeimg_fw.nbh). Is it eventually possible to just take one of them and flash it? or do they anyway require to have a preinstalled stock ROM to update with them? And why are there so many other files in, when i usually actually just need one nbh file as a rom?
Thanks for helping me understand my phone
bump
i d like to know that aswell. did you fixed the issue by now?
If you want to use the official updater you need to modify the payloads.xml file.
You can find it by opening the official updater, but don't start the upgrade. Opening the updater will extract a bunch of files to your TEMP folder. The payloads.xml file will be in one of the subfolders. The folder is called something random so you'll have to seach for it, but you'll see a bunch of Palm icons in it so you'll know you're there.
You can edit the payloads.xml file with any text editor. Notepad works fine.
If you are changing carriers as part of the update, you will probably need to change the carrier code to the one matching the currently installed ROM. This is AT&T, for example.
Code:
<carrier_codes>CNG,ATT</carrier_codes>
I think Vodofone is VF, but you'll have to do some searching to confirm that.
Then you need to change the revision range to allow the downgrade.
Code:
<revision_range>
<low>1.13</low>
<high>3.00</high>
</revision_range>
Save it when you are done, and then start the updater. It should work. If not, there are plenty of posts here about downgrading ROM's, so search around until you find something that works for you.
And yes, you can extract the ROM's from a desktop updater and flash using the SD card method, assuming of course you have successfully HardSPL'd your phone. You need the CHEEIMG_FW.nbh file, but must rename it to CHEEIMG.nbh before putting it on the SD card.
You don't need to Hard-SPL in order to flash official Palm WM ROMs from a MiniSD.

please help
Look http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/help/h60-l04c675b820-upgrade-downgrade-t3404809
I have the same problem. No rollback-pack works. I think it has something to do with the different local versions of the firmware.
1.download this update.app file
2.put file in sdcard dload folder
3.goto dialer *#*#2846579#*#* then software upgrade , sdcard upgarde hit ok
4. download B570 lollipop full rom update
5.repeate step 2,3
6. u will successfully downgrade to lollipop
link https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2dfG1XFlE9bSTBJdjc1ODc1ZTQ/view?usp=sharing
After 36% software install failed ?
It is only for indian version

It works fine tested many times
I think that is the problem: The rollback-packages don't work on European models with Indian software.
I find the way friends
Must change the area to normal use after downgrade

I am happy for you. I think you have a Asian model so the downgrade package works but It doesn't for European models.

Share Stock build.prop Honor 6x

Hello Guys,
I have the european Version of the Honor 6x. After flashing a custom rom I wanted to come back to Stock Emui. But now I have a few problems with my Honor device. In the settings it isn't called Honor 6x any more, but generic-a15.
A huge part of the build.prop got lost so many things like f.e. the camera or the loudspeekers do not work any more.
Could someone maybe share the stock build.prop with me, so that I can solve at least one of the problems?
Thanks
In this case, the build.prop won't be helpful. You gotta flash the version.img of your actual firmware through fastboot or TWRP.
You can extract the version.img file with Huawei Update Extractor tool. You have to pull it out from the biggest update package that weights something like 1,49GB, usually "update.zip".

Yeah the thing is, huawei wont publish the firmware online anymore, if you try to find the img in the net you cannot find it at all
Huawei did that, true, but luckily there is another site on which all the update packages are uploaded. Just look for yours here http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/ you only have to write your build number and grab the file.
I messed up my build.prop with some "tweaks" (Thanks Zack. They don't work at all.). so could somebody else provide an original build.prop for BLN-L21? Thanks in advance.

Guide me to flash Android Pie

Hi Guys,
Someone please guide me to flash Android Pie on my G8142. I have already downloaded G8142_Customized VN_1309-2181_47.2.A.0.306_R3C firmware via XperiFirm.
Note -
Locked BL
Currently on 47.1.A.16.20
Thanks in advanced.
Hi, frankly speaking, as your BL is blocked you should/can wait only some few days, it should come over the air very soon
Hi, I also have a locked bootloader, and its still locked after flashing the update using newflasher
all I did was download the VN firmware from xpericheck app that is integrated in flashtool application.
then I downloaded newflasher and it was a zip file, I extracted it, copied all files in it and pasted them in the same folder where the firmware files at, then ran newflasher, and thats it
I have Pie.
Did you delete any of the .TA files prior to flashing?
Hi @madshark2009,
can you provide me any guidelines to do it. I'm new to Sony.
@kw0n2k
No,all I did was simply flash using newflasher
@werty733
here is how i did it:
download xperifirm application:
https://softfamous.com/xperifirm-tool/
when you launch it, select Xperia XZ Premium (the dual one)
then you will get a bunch of fimrwares for different regions, simply select the VN region and it should show on the far right "latest update available" with a number of 47.2.A.0.306
download that to an empty folder of your choice
after download completed, download newflasher from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/progress-newflasher-xperia-command-line-t3619426
download v13, you will get a ZIP file, copy all files in the file to the same folder where you downloaded the firmware files.
then simply run newflasher from that folder, press n for the first option, and another n for the second option, then it should start doing the magic, after its done, youre set. hope that helped
@madshark2009 thanks, will try your method and update.
@madshark2009 sorry I meant, the new firmware files that you downloaded with xpirifirm, the .TA files in that. correct me if im wrong, but i thought you had to delete them prior to flashing as it might over ride your DRM keys.
@kw0n2k
I dont think so, because i checked my keys stats and they are all ok, no one answered me that officially so i cant give you a concrete answer but i dont think flashing an update resets your drm, we all have been doing it before, i have done it before on oreo and nougat so yah, but get a more officially approved answer from a dev here better for you not to do anything that could harm your device on my word alone
Cheers mate
@madshark2009 Yeah, I converted my G8142 to G8141 cause I couldnt get VolTE in Australia. From what i read, i was under the assumption that .TA files had to be deleted on the new firmware prior to flashing as to not lose your DRM keys. But if you've done it and everything's fine, happy days! I'll just flash normally without deleting any files from now on.
the good @munjeni have exclu .ta in the script no problem for flash with any problem
@madshark2009, it worked perfectly without any issues. but I'm very disappointed there is no Gestures.
