Does anyone know of an edge music app that works with the s8, it needs to have google play music integration.
I've done a lot of looking and can't seem to find anything, surely there are others that would like to control their music using the edge panel.
this is what I've found;
needs google play music integration - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fourhorsemen.musicvault&hl=en
found on the s7 forums - https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/themes/app-control-google-play-music-edge-panel-t3365528
found on the s6 forums - https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...usicplayer-feed-galaxy-s6-edge-t3095371/page3
any help is very much appreciated.

I just wanted to know if there was any talk ever about software that would help me manage my phone and maybe that i could get music from?
Use Android Music to manage your music files and Amazon Music to buy the music.
It just seems weird that Google wouldnt do that especially with this device I saw called the Samsung Galaxy 5. When I found that, it prompted my original question because it is marketed as a music player.
I read somewhere they are working on adding a music store to the Google Music app
Sent from my ICS'd Revolt Bryce Device
Check out media monkey. It allow for syncing to android devices. And only runs one background process (when running).. unlike iTunes which runs four at all times.

Have you guys ever ran into the problem where you were listening to music on you phone then you play music on you tablet and Google pauses your music because your playing music on multiple devices?
Well this app I made fixes that.
I made this app quickly because me and my friend are always listening to music at the same time and it kept pausing the music.
When I have more time Ill update it with a better icon, better look, ect. but it works perfectly and it makes me so happy.
I know I can't be the only one in the world that ran into this problem and was annoyed. So here's a fix
HOW TO:
-just open the app, click on accessibility and turn on Google Music Multi User Support.
-Thats it. You're done.
No need to worry about it again. Turn on and off your phone? No worries. Don't even think about it.
also this app doesn't affect battery, like at all.
This app has only been tested on:
*Nexus 7
*Galaxy S4
*Galaxy SIII

I'm interested in the Huawei Watch 2 Sport, but reading reviews and comments I found this one:
"BEWARE! International users that do not have access to Google Play Music shall avoid this watch (and all other Android Wear 2.0 devices) at all cost if you want to play music on the watch. This is because to load music onto the watch, you will need access to Play Music which is region locked."
Can anyone confirm this? The main usage for me would be running, so I need GPS + Play Music.
I will buy it on USA and use it abroad.
Why you have no access to google play music?
I'm surprised this hasn't gotten any coverage from any android site thus far. If you have local music files (aka not streaming, files you've uploaded to google play music) you can no longer play these files with voice commands. Google claims to be looking into it but it hasn't been fixed in months.

is the only place i can find talking about it.
is anyone else having this problem and unhappy about it?

I just got a new phone and I guess my old Nexus 5 (which I had upgraded to Nougat) didn't seem to have a problem but my new LG V30 has it. I can't seem to call on music like I used to, just by saying an artist or an artist and a song. I am not playing locally stored music (although that would also be nice) but music that I uploaded to the Google Play Music library. A terrible decision if this is how it is going to be.

I'm running Nougat on my Xperia Z5.
When I tell the Google Assistant «Play the song "track title"», it searches in YouTube and tries to open YouTube app. However, sometimes it plays it from my local storage using Google Play Music app.
But whenever I disconnect my phone from internet, Google Assistant always plays the song from phone's local storage using the same command.
By the way, it's very irritating that I have to turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data whenever I wanna play a song from my phone's storage.
Hi folks
I used to have the Galaxy Watch and I've upgraded to the Galaxy Watch 4 and it's quite disappointing that Bixby can't play songs from Spotify even for premium subscribers and even when it is paired to my Samsung phone. I've so far sideloaded and used the modified Spotify apk which allows me to search and stream but it also doesn't work it Bixby. I have even sideloaded Google Asistant but after it says it will play the song it always says there was a problem as it doesn't seem to work with native watch or phone apps. Is there any workaround for this function either in Spotify or any other music streaming service such as YouTube Music? If not is anyone currently working on it?
Thanks all
Yeah the Android ecosystem is so broken. I can't imagine apple releasing a watch without such basic functions.
Surely someone will find a way to make galaxy watch 4 bixby work with Spotify
Ok
