Verizon S6 USB or WiFi tethering? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

I used FoxFi/PdaNet for so many years. Suddenly, it stopped working on my Verizon S6. Did something disable it? What are my options?

Not Receiving Wireless Emergency Alerts (CMAS)

Howdy,
I noticed on both of the OPO's we have, neither will receive the Wireless Emergency Alerts but my old Moto X which doesn't even have a Sim Card does.
(We've had several Tornado warnings this weekend)
All 3 phone are running CM12.1 and all have the options turned on.
The 2 OPO's are running ATT GoPhone Plans.
Anyone else experience this?
Thanks!

Are there any phones that will tether on AT&T without the plan

I used to have an older phone (3G and slow as ever) where the tethering used to work with AT&T when enabled. USB tethering and WiFi. Eventually I picked up the Nokia 920 and of course no longer have that ability as trying to enable tethering leads to a nag screen that acknowledges that the feature is being held ransom by AT&T unless I pay them even more money. I already pay way more than I pay for my cable connection...and the cable connection is 20x faster than AT&T crap network. I just need it for simple mail checks while on the road. I am not paying for that. So I was wondering if anyone has had luck with any 4G capable phones? (I am assuming Android would have the best luck).

Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 edge problems

Bought an unlocked verizon s6 edge and having network problems. Currently have the phone on Cricket but it seems that I can't keep a strong signal at home. Everywhere else is good. Any suggestions? Also having problems with dialing. Everything I make a call it automatically puts 011 or +1 in front of it

Choppy bluetooth

All of a sudden I've been having bluetooth issues. The range of the bluetooth is very weak for my headphones. It is barely 2 feet. And if it's not in a direct line of sight the playback is very choppy. The range extends if i turn off the wifi - but it's nowhere near what it was before having this issue. My Gear 2 began to constantly connect and reconnect as well. But I'm thinking this only happened at home when the phone's wifi was turned on. It stopped happening once I turned the wifi off (but the range doesn't seem to be as far as it used to be). All of this just started happening today and I've had the phone for a little over a month (all bluetooth devices connected since day one). Ive been looking for solutions and tried clearing the phone's cache, the bluetooth's data and cache and unpairing all of the devices. Can anybody else offer any other suggestions? I'm really trying to avoid having tmobile replace it as i do not want to receive a reburbished model.
ANy luck. I have this issue too. I also notice its tied to random wifi drop outs as well
Posts around the net and other Note 5 forums here are saying it's related to the latest update Samsung released.
Wireless charging not staying connected
I also am experiencing that the wireless charging is not staying connected. I am using the samsung wireless charger and never had a problem before. But my family is not having a problem with their note 5. This is leading me to believe that it is not due to the latest update.
Just call T-Mobile and explain the situation, there is a service bulletin that their techs are aware of. Request for a replacement. Make you backup all your apps and data before your replacement arrives. I tried to Odin back to stock and this still didn't fix my bluetooth problem, luckily i had my Nexus 6 that i could pop my T-Mobile sim in and bluetooth is great now.

I'll probabably wind up having to do that. But I'll hold out hope that it's a software issue (I'm really trying to avoid getting a refurbished replacement). What's interesting is today as I was going to work I didn't experience any of these problems (phone was in pocket and no bluetooth dropouts on headset or gear 2 watch). Placed my phone on a wireless charger at work (a Choetech fast charger) and didn't have any problems. I'm probably reaching but now I'm wondering if there is something going on in my house that is spooking my phone:laugh:: I'm going to monitor it throughout the day and see what happens once I get home.
edit: spoke to soon as my headset disconnected (although watch hasn't - yet)

What's a nexus 6?
T-Mobile sent me a brand new replacement phone not a refurbished phone. This was a brand new model in the original box with all the accessories. I downloaded all the updates and my Bluetooth is back! The replacement phone was on update COI5 by the way.

Help! Out of nowhere, my WiFi is fine, but the WiFi tethering has abysmal range.

I don't even know how I could begin troubleshooting. My Pixel is rooted if that matters, and is on the latest Oreo update (I am not upgrading to Pie until GravityBox is ported).
Out of seemingly nowhere, the Wi-Fi tether range is beyond horrible. Basically my phone has to be within AN INCH OR TWO of my Laptop/Nintendo Switch/etc for it to connect. It used to connect from a different room!
Does anybody know what could be going on? It's not the Wi-Fi chip (I don't think) because it connects to WiFi networks just fine. The only issue is range when the tethering is active.
I am guessing this is some sort of battery-saving mode? But I have no idea how it was "enabled" because I have been on the latest update for months.
This is making my life miserable because I use my hotspot for things like my laptop and my iPad and it's completely unrealistic to use it like this. It *WILL* in fact connect, but like I said, the phone has to be within INCHES of the device!
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Anyone? Is there somewhere else I should post it here since it's more of a general hardware issue?
