yes, at least one based on v29 en/ch..call it a lite version.
Hi, i already have the multilanguage version installed on my Hongmi 1S.
Can i update directly by downloading it on the phone ?
I mean, going to settings, and click on search for update and then let the phone do it by itself or should i download it myself and flash it using the recovery ?
How do I get a Hongmi 1s rooted?
In instructions on the miui forum, it says to root a 1s you need to have Stock MI-Recovery 2.0.1 installed. I don't. All I have is whatever recovery comes with the miui ROM, and that won't let me install any of the rooting files as updates (the installation aborts). Can anyone direct me to instructions on how to get this 1s rooted?

[TIP] - Make *ViPER4Android* Work on *ANY* Marshmallow Device EASILY !!

Make ViPER4Android work on any marshmallow device : SELinux Permissive Fix
This is the easiest method I found so far, to make Viper4Android work on my V10 H960A running MM
Thanks to Sidharth Pk Here’s how you can install ViPER4Android on your Android phone running on Marshmallow or above. Change the SELinux policy from Enforcing to Permissive and enable ViPER4Android on your device. Also, fix the common errors while installing V4A like abnormal driver status, no processing etc.
I will copy/paste here his short instructions and for further details I will post a link to his page at the end of this post
Change SELinux to Permissive & Make ViPER4Android Work on any Marshmallow Device (By Sidharth Pk) :
ViPER4Android itself needs root access. So there’s no point of saying that your device must have root privileges.
.
Get ViPER4Android’s latest APK from here and install it on your Marshmallow device.
.
Now open it and let it install the driver for your device.
.
Once you get the install complete message, simply reboot the phone.
.
After bootup, Install Terminal Emulator App from here and install it on your phone.
.
Open it and perform the following commands one after one
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Code:
[COLOR="Navy"][SIZE="4"][SIZE="5"]su
setenforce[/SIZE][/SIZE][/COLOR]
Close the terminal and check the driver status on ViPER4Android app, it should display like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The Enable & Processing status will automatically change to Yes once you activate the master power option and start playing music on your headphone/speaker. If this method doesn’t work for you, you can flash the ViPER4Android Marshmallow ZIP file. It changes the SELinux from Enforcing to Permissive.

Cheers
Didn't work for me.
didn't worked for me either !!

[pls hlp] Unable to Root OnePlus 7 Pro

Hey Guys,
hopefully its okay to post my request here.
I am stuck rooting my OP7 Pro.
As you can see on below screenshots this where I try to start:
I have a GM1913 and I am on Oxygen OS 10.0.5.GM21BA:
I folowd this guide including the video tutorial: https://www.xda-developers.com/unlock-bootloader-root-oneplus-7-pro/
Unfortunately I am unable to gain root.
Either I am ending up in a boot loop or I am able to boot into android but root is still missing and Wireless LAN isnt working.
These are the TWRP Files I was working with:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The Files 3.3.1-0 to 3.3.1-4 aren´t working anyway. after flashing them, I am just back at the bootloader. Only the unofficial 76 Version is working to get into TWRP.
If I am able to get into twrp, I´ll do the following:
1) flashing original boot.img to Slot A and Slot B (from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=294300)
2) flashing the TWRP Zip File (only to the "active" Slot)
3) flashing Magisk 20.4 (also tried 20.1)
And then either I am stuck in a bootloop or in Android Wlan is missing and Magisk still not working.
Can please someone help me pointing at what I am doing wrong?
Wait a sec. If you have unlocked bootloader please boot to fastboot and do command: fastboot boot twrp_file_name.img on the latest TWRP that you can find: https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...nt/recovery-unofficial-twrp-recovery-t3931322
Latest version and files you need are:
TWRP 3.3.1-79 Unified Unofficial Q by mauronofrio
TWRP 3.3.1-79 Unified Unofficial Installer by mauronofrio
after you boot to this recovery go and install recovery installer zip and later flash also package with Magisk 20.4
Voilla you have root + latest TWRP
Well.... just WTF?
Just done it as described by @SkubiDoo and it works...
So was the issue using old TWRP Files?
Anyway - Thank you very much for your help!
Looks like mate better to stick with this mauronofrio version.

I'm using ZTO and there is NO one android 11 yet.
Hello,
Finally, I can unlock the bootloader, flash twrp and root my Samsung Galaxy A01 (a01q) (SM-A015M).
All I need is just update to Android 11 and then I can unlock the bootloader and flash the magisk patched boot.img together the patched vbmeta.img.
I can flash TWRP using the image file "TWRP_3.5.2_A015F.img" sent by @tariqa
How To Root Samsung A01 (a015f/DS)
Hello, I want to ask how to root samsung galaxy a01 (a015f) , i want to instal f.lux for better blue light filter, Thanks!
forum.xda-developers.com
Thank you very much
1. Unlock your bootloader enter in download mode Vol+ + Vol- + USB conected to pc (Keep in mind that by doing this you will lose your files, it is advisable to make a backup of your photos, music, etc.)
2. Once you start your cell phone install magisk manager, Choosing the boot.img file of your rom into the app (Tip: Only!!! If your model is SM-A015M Android 11 I leave you my own modified boot.img to flash:
File on MEGA
mega.nz
Otherwise, you can download the firmware (3.79 gb) and extract the boot.img from the firmware of your model SM-A015 M / F ... Android 10, Android 11... etc. And No need for pc
https://samfrew.com/model/SM-A015M/
3. The image will begin to flash
4. When it restarts you will have Root on the cell phone!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Extra: If you need the custom recovery I give you the link with my TWRP which is installed through the Odin program on a PC (this step does not delete your files)
File on MEGA
mega.nz
Keep in mind that to install TWRP you must deactivate the DM-VERITY & FORCEENCRYPT DISABLER I leave it in a link:
Zackptg5 - Android
zackptg5.com
This is a module that can be installed via magisk, which is necessary to decrypt the system ... so once TWRP is installed, it is advisable to uninstall it via Magisk to avoid R / W errors
Easy way to get Root & TWRP 2 in 1
A015F only!
Requirements: unlocked bootloader, android 11.
In Odin unmark autoreboot option.
Flash the "gorecovery.tar" file in AP field.
Boot to recovery and choose "Reboot system".
Allow Magisk to autoupdate.
If first boot after flashing will be into system - flash the file again.
The method keeps all your files and settings. Possible to use on already adjusted system.

Question Stuck in Download Mode: Error verifying vbmeta image

Hey there,
I have a problem with my A52 (SM-A525F/DS): It doesn't boot anymore, as it is stuck in the Download mode, showing the error message: "Reason recovery: Error verifying vbmeta image: invalid vbmeta header (6)"
Steps that lead to this:
LineageOS is installed. After installation of a software update, Magisk lost its root. So I tried to install an alternative recovery (TWRP) with Odin. Odin said "Pass", but now this error message occurs.
What can I do now to make the phone work again? Install the Stock ROM?
Would you please help me with this issue? Thank you so much.

Once again, you need to properly follow all the instructions listed on the thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-official-twrp-3-7-for-galaxy-a52-4g-and-a72-4g.4405751/
Thank you and please excuse my stupidity.
@Simon1511, it worked, thanks again.
As this was inititally my problem: Is there a way to use LineageOS with Magisk and install Updates without losing the root access?

Not automatically. You would have to reflash magisk every time you install an OTA.

Thanks for your answer. I'm curious: Why doesn't it work anymore? It works with older phones like the Samsung A5 2017.

The problem is encryption. On the A5 2017 the Magisk re-install script would run after installing an OTA and would install itself again. But since encryption is enabled by default on newer phones (such as the A52) it doesn't work/behave correctly.
I'm fairly sure though it's an issue with Magisk and not with the ROM.
