[Q-Call Recording] Can someone with rooted Nexus S test this app?

Hello, since skvalex's Call Recorder is now compatible with the Galaxy Nexus, I asked him if it works also on our Nexus S.
He said "You could try it".
I don't have root, so can someone try it?
You have to install the alsamixer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skvalex.alsamixer)
and then test the trial (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441643).
Thanks.

Voice recording with Χperia L

Hi,
I would like to record an upcoming meeting. I have download some apps but all of them have the same issue. Unless I put my mouth in front of the mic, the recording is not audible. Is this something I can fix? Is this a problem with the device (ver. 4.2.2).
(My phone is new.)

[MOD] TV2 Sumo app for rooted devices

The TV2 Sumo app doesnt like rooted devices and throws an error whenever you start streaming anything if your device is running anything other than stock firmware. This is ridiculous of course so I tweaked the DRM-verification a bit so that users with rooted devices can enjoy the content they paid for.
I dont use the service myself so if a new update comes out, feel free to let me know and I will see if I can adapt my hack to that version as well.
This release is based on version 1.1 of the app which was published the 8th of April 2014.
Installation
Remove the TV2 Sumo app from your device, then sideload the attached .apk
Disclaimer
I have not done any modifications to the app except the DRM stuff. However, I do not take any responsibility for any damage it might cause to your device. So if your phone blows up and kills your cat, dont blame me. That said, it's highly unlikely anything bad happens from running this app.
Also, Ive only tested this on my device running CyanogenMOD 11 so I cant guarantee that it will work on all devices out there.
Note
As mentioned I dont use the TV2 Sumo service but in order to make this work I had to pay for a weekly subscription. Hence, if you appreciate the effort, feel free to send a small donation my way. Thanks.

I can't get it working. I get an error code: VIDEO_START_FAILED
Do you know what caused this?

Hi there. I have not encountered that issue before. That said, its been a while since I used the Sumo app, so its totally possible that TV2 has made some modifications on the server side that now makes my fix incompatible. I dont subscribe to the Sumo service anymore so I cant easily verify this Im afraid.
Any chance you could post a new downloadlink to the modified app? Or the latest version?

Cannot get Kodi to work on OP7 Pro

Hello,
Idk if anyone else has to issue but Kodi does start for me when I download it I put in a repo for Magic Dragon, I get to watch a movie then I go to use the app the next time and it stays on a black screen wont even load. I tried force stopping, clearing cache as well. But the only thing that works is uninstalling and reinstalling again. Anyone know a fix or an alternative right now for movies?

You have to change the display to 60hz. Wasn't worth it for me so I'll wait till it works on 90hz.

That I have no clue, I had the same issue and search for the answer on Google and found it. I tried it on 60hz and it worked just fine.

One thing I didn't try what's changing it to 60hz before I open Kodi and leaving it at 90 the rest of the time
That might be at work around for now.
Edit: changing it to 60hz before opening Kodi seems to work.
Install SPMC, Android kodi version, works great.

I just tried Kodi 17.6 and it works perfectly fine on 90hz. You can download that version from the Kodi site.

Yeah, until they update Leia to work with 90hz this does the job. I loaded the old build I use to use, my IPTV service and Real-Debrid account and tested Infinity War in 4k and it played fine. At least it doesn't restrict quality with an unlocked bootloader like Netflix (which I don't use).
