Need help to root no-brand Android 7.0 tablet - General Questions and Answers

For a couple of years I've used an old Android 4.2.2 tablet for one purpose only: tether wifi Internet connection to my router. Recently it fell and the screen broke.
I've purchased a cheap 7" tablet (IRULU x67) to replace the broken one, for the same function. It runs Android 7.0 and I could not find any TWRP or CWM custom recovery for this no-brand name device. All guides I found for rooting Marshmallow and Nougat devices require the use of custom recovery and Magisk. Pushing su and busybox to /system/bin, like in older Androids, doesn't work.
Can anybody point me to any working method to root this Android 7.0 tablet? I need this very badly and it MUST be rooted!

[Q] Rooting unknown device

Hi guys, I have been given an Android Device which I had never heard of, 7" ePad Android 4.0 All Winner A13 Tablet 4GB 512MB'. My friend wants me to root the system for him. However as I am relatively inexperienced, although I have rooted my G Tablet successfully numerous times, I am not sure how to go about rooting an unknown device. Any help is welcome.

I know this is really late, and you may not be using it anymore. I just recently purchased a phablet from american pumpkins, and will pass on the info I have. I just effectively rooted using IRoot from the PC. You have to watch the install from both the pc and the device, as it asks if you will allow permissions to affect your startup procedure. You then need to clean off the One Cleaner and One Locker they put on it once you have rooted completely.

Any luck rooting Digiland MediaTek tablet DL7000 with Nougat?

I am recently diving in to Android on a Digiland DL7000 tablet. It is a MediaTek processor running Nougat (Android 7).
None of the one-click rooting tools work, so I'm slogging through the ADB process and would like to use SuperSU.
Has anyone done this with the Digiland DL7000 tablets yet?

Need Help Turning My Phone Into A Rubber Ducky!

I would like to turn my Samsung Galaxy S7 (G930F) into a USB rubber ducky. My device is running android 7.0 and it is rooted with Magisk v16.0. I have tried flashing kali nethunter, but it only supports up to android 6.01 for my device. I would flash android 6.01, but i REALLY dont like it, im willing to flash android 8.0 if that helps. TWRP is installed and i also have kali linux installed (with linux deploy). I tried using Dual Boot Patcher to dual boot android 6.0, but it wont boot up whenever i switch to it. Any suggestions for how i can get it to work? I know a bit about the android os, but i am in no way an expert. Any help is appreciated and i am happy to answer any more questions you might have about my device.
To clarify: i do not intend to use this maliciously, i just think it would be cool (and maybe to prank a couple of my friends).

What is the best method to upgrade Android on rooted phone?

My Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 (G611F) had Android 7.1.1 when I rooted it a few years ago and I have never upgraded it to a newer version for fear of losing root. It has TWRP and SuperSu installed and I confirmed I still have root. What is the best method to upgrade without losing my data? I have Odin on a Windows laptop and I have adb and fastboot on my Unbuntu desktop. I also downloaded Magisk apk and Firmware SM-G611F — Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime. Thanks
