Hi guys, I have been given an Android Device which I had never heard of, 7" ePad Android 4.0 All Winner A13 Tablet 4GB 512MB'. My friend wants me to root the system for him. However as I am relatively inexperienced, although I have rooted my G Tablet successfully numerous times, I am not sure how to go about rooting an unknown device. Any help is welcome.

Hi I'm trying to root my uncommon Thai brand "I Mobile IQ Z" which runs on Android 5.0.2 kernel 3.10.49 because of forever growing Android System bug.
I've tried Kingoroot pc AND apk, framaroot apk, RootGenius pc and some 3 other root solutions... but this phone is quite new in Thailand so all these methods don't work!! They all fail or say it cant be rooted! I'm desperate and out of solutions...
Is there any method to root this phone, regarding phone version/type or not? Flash a rom? or root EVERY phone type?
Because as soon as it says "supports almost any phone" that will NOT include mine...!
Does not need to be simple, can be with PC etc..
Thanks in advance
Bump I am also interested in it.
For a couple of years I've used an old Android 4.2.2 tablet for one purpose only: tether wifi Internet connection to my router. Recently it fell and the screen broke.
I've purchased a cheap 7" tablet (IRULU x67) to replace the broken one, for the same function. It runs Android 7.0 and I could not find any TWRP or CWM custom recovery for this no-brand name device. All guides I found for rooting Marshmallow and Nougat devices require the use of custom recovery and Magisk. Pushing su and busybox to /system/bin, like in older Androids, doesn't work.
Can anybody point me to any working method to root this Android 7.0 tablet? I need this very badly and it MUST be rooted!

Hi,
I recently got my phone reset accidentally and some important images got deleted. Phone details:
Infinix Hot 4, Android version 7
Build number: X557-H807AD-N-171110V163
Model: Infinix X557.
Kernel Version 3.18.35+
I looked into recovery software and thought I'd give Dr fone (PC) a go. It successfully recognised the device and started the one-step root & recovery process. However, after a couple of minutes, it stopped with a message that it can't root this phone model and I should do it manually.
Hence, I have researched rooting of Infinix X557 and for my particular case of Android 7 I believe the following guide would work:
w**.techvilaz.com/2017/05/how-to-root-infinix-hot-4-after.html
I haven't rooted my phone yet, as I know that the consequences shall not be favourable and until I unroot the phone it won't receive updates. Therefore, I am thinking of inquiring if anyone knows how to unroot my phone once it is rooted. I will then root my device, recover files and then unroot it.
Any help relevant to my case of Infinix X557 Android 7 will be much appreciated. Please note that it has already been 25 days since my phone resetted and I am not left with much time to recover my data. I have asked on so many other forums but no luck. Please help!!!
Hello, I am looking for direction on how to approach this. I have a ASUS Zenpad Z10 (ZT500KL - Verizon) that I want to update to a newer version of android. Since the manufacturer no longer sends out updates to the tablet the only option I am left with is to root the tablet. However I am not sure hot to go about rooting and flashing an android device. Any tips or guides on the process (any specific to this model would be best) would be greatly appreciated. If there's a simple tool that flashes my device for me that would be great but I understand I would probably need to root the tablet first. I've never rooted any android device and It's difficult to find consistent guides online on the process. From what i was told Verizon locks the bootloaders of all their devices meaning root and flashing custom roms is impossible. Thank you for your time and consideration.
