No, VOLTE is not working. Just read a few posts back before commenting. It won't be magically fixed. It's even better if you read rather than waiting for someone to post if it works or not.

May I know what the command 'getprop ro.product.wt.boardid' prints for you? The fingerprint sensor works fine on my device, but it may be due to differences in model/hardware. Just for the record, my boardid is S88537BA1.

Camera was broken because of an accidental change I made last minute :/ It's fixed locally (as it should be).
Working on GPS at the moment.

So can this possibly be used as a daily driver?(I don't use video recording, so I'm thinking of giving it a go.) BTW, can you please include the Mi Remote app as well, if it isn't available? Also, link to TWRP to install this ROM?

We're using a prebuilt kernel so we don't need any of that. Which MIUI ROM version did you come from? Could you try flashing V8.0.3.0.MALMIDG before flashing this ROM, if you weren't on V8.0.3.0.MALMIDG before? I don't plan on including the Mi Remote app. IR should work, but I haven't tried it at all. You could try with any of the consumerIR apps on the Play Store.
Other than GPS being broken (don't even turn it on if you treasure battery life) and the battery life not being as good as stock, it seems good enough. I don't have TWRP available to install this ROM, but there's CM recovery if you're fine with it.
Regarding Nougat, I'm not too concerned right now. It's quite unlikely to boot without an updated kernel (which we obviously don't have at this point in time). Either way, the saner plan right now is to get CM 13 fully working and running on nightlies, wait for some kind of kernel source, then start working on CM 14.
Wait... CM Recovery supports OpenGapps installation now? It didn't work before for me... And uh, does Xposed work?

I am on MIUI 8 Global Beta 6.11.8. Hope there will be no kernel freakouts... And, isn't the latest Global Stable ROM MIUI 8 8.0.5.0?

Bec I tried to find the solution too, but for me it looked like note 3 didn't have real universal fix for it
i flashed this rom and fp sensor is working well. there is bug : some random reboot. i don't know why. and when i touched fp sensor long, camera app is working automatically. how can i turn off this function?

I do not plan to support the ROM, to fix bugs, etc. This build is only to show the working goodix scanner.
I do not have redmi3s.

After update from january 12 to 15 version fingerprint has stopped working.
Also if you plan to return to MIUI , DON'T ENCRYPT your device and DON'T REQUIRE ANY PASSWORD to start android. Otherwise MIUI won't boot. You may do it only by deep-flashing your device.

Just to Make it clear, Treble Vendor for A8/A8+ is been ported from A7 2018 Oreo. We have tested many Oreo GSI from phhuson generic list and they are booted with this vendor. We have also tested Pie GSI, most of them didn't booted but few did(Phh-AOSP-9.0).

No GSI image is working good. Camera is still unstable in Re-commanded GSI images and others. No GSI image is connecting with PC . i have tried every GSI image Mentioned in this post and Other famous Ones as well. In most of them Finger print is also not working. i tried every image for just 10 mints and i fingered out these things may be many more.

I have had them all connect to PC undo USB debugging and select transfer files and the camera works fine.
Finger print only works on Galaxy project rom.

The Galaxy project rom all works.
I'm on aosp extended rom and it has two bugs only.
No volte
No finger print.
Dolly works
The rom is a 9/10.
This rom works really good.

I can live without VoLTE but someone has to fix the fingerprint issue. Can anyone who tried fixing it open a issue in AOSP Extended's GitHub or any for that matter. I know it's asking for too much . If there's a dirty fix, I am cool with that as well

@prashantp01 Does the fingerprint sensor work in Phh-Treble? I am considering to try both Phh-Treble and AOSP Extended. Afaik the GitHub says Fingerprint works just fine and you made a dirty fix for Phh-Treble Camera issue as well. So what can I look forward?

1)Camera is fixed for all gsi....just check post #2
2)phone which cant detect by pc.. are because of magisk....magisk breaks the mtp
3)fingerprint is working...only AOSP by phh have latest implementation....other gsi maintainers didn't updated those phh patches, so most likely u will face FP bug on their gsi. Fingerprint from VENDOR is stable
4)VoLTE well idc about it, on AOSP volte is impossible for exynos

One thing on aosp extended only 6.0 they boot fine 6.1 and up will not boot.

Awesome rom!!!
But just want to point out that 72Hz overclock is not as smooth. Facing frequent frame drops here and there. Also at high brightness and with 72Hz (with dc dimming on) screen appears to flicker on some colors. On other roms it runs smooth.
But thanks for this amazing rom

Disable double tap from gesture, enable it again, set to none , now set to double tap, and disable it.Then go to ambient setting, and toggle double tap
Screen recording seems to be choppy. Is this the case for everybody else?

Can I flash it over vendor+firmware 11.0.4? Will FOD work flawlessly, without issue? Are there other issues with 11.0.4.? Which vendor firmware number is best to use with this Christmas edition?

1.fod first attempt got fail,second working,sometimes works great and sometime it's too bad
2.notification sound got broken from apps.
3.poor sound like lock /unlock etc
4.poor customization compare to havoc 9 pie,maybe from source.
5.need to add launchair launcher like havoc 9

Hello wajidkh08, which MIUI 11 Vendor/Firmware did you use, that everything is working properly? Cheers mate.
A couple of questions:
1. Has anyone tried this with EEA 11.0.3.0 vendor? If yes, does the FP reader work well? Does it open with unregistered fingers? I'm asking since I have this problem on latest LOS with EEA vendor.
2. Does Havoc have a working setting to invert navigation bar buttons (i.e. back button to the right and multitasking button to the left)? Some other ROMs are either missing the setting or it doesn't work.
Edit:
One more: Do NFC payments with Google Pay work with the Magisk fixes? On LOS it doesn't work even with the fixes.
