Mi A1 modemst1 modemst2 .bin - Xiaomi Mi A1 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hello Community,
Backed up the QCN, working on the IMEI files.
Changed the QCN via HEX, double checked with NV view, and new IMEI is recognized.
Restroed it, however the old IMEI showed up.
Then erased the modemst1, 2 and fsg
of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p14 15 and 17 to be exact; the IMEI is now 0
Trying restore the QCN again, now IMEI s are 0. QCN doesnt seem to go through. Might be missing something.
PS: Would appreciate if anyone can post modemst1 modemst2 .img and fsg.mbn img files to double check and restore
Thanks

motorola moto g lte lollipop problem

Mobile after the update to lollipop, will no longer work can not be connected to the network (O2 Germany) when I type * # 06 # - IMEI 0 .. What is?
Download XT1039 Retail Germany Radio Firmware from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/4g-development/rom-stock-motorola-4g-lollipop-rom-t3142816
Use only the following fastboot commands:
mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
mfastboot erase modemst1
mfastboot erase modemst2
mfastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
Report back how it goes.

Is this still the recommended fix for GPS ?

Using cm13 .most recent nightly ?? Sorry I put this in the wrong forum
Just flash NON-HLOS.bin file of Stock ROM and GPS will be active on any Custom AOSP ROMs.
Code:
mfastboot.exe flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
mfastboot.exe erase modemst1
mfastboot.exe erase modemst2
pause
mfastboot.exe reboot
i fixed it by typing these commands
only without m (fastboot.exe erase modemst1 etc...)
You should just erase modemst1 and modemst2, as described here. Remember that this works for Moto G only and shouldn't be used on other phones!
For the latest CM 13 builds these commands are no longer necessary

SIM not working after fastboot commands!!!

Hello guys,
on a One Plus One of a friend I insert in the fastboot this 2 codes:
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
because he had problems with the gps and I fixed this problem on my Moto X in this way. But after i did this his phone cannot read the sim card. I tried to reboot and to hard reset but the problem is still there. He has Cm13 no-rooted and bootloader is still locked. How can i fix this?
Welp, this is one of the partitions used to store IMEI and Modem of the device. You can try flashing a modem http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/firmware-modem-oneplus-one-lollipop-t3300907 or you will have to search on the internet and find those 2 partitions from someone who has them backed up.
//edit// i found something here its only modemst1 tho http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-imei-efs-backup-t3252618
If i backup the file from another phone maybe the IMEI can be changed?

You can try unlocking his bootloader using
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
because you can't flash anything to the phone while its unlocked
Backup his stuff in internal storage (pics, vids etc) to a PC before you do the bootloader unlock
Do the commands above again
Code:
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
Then fastboot flash a modem, c6. 241
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347825946
Extract and just copy paste the below commands, or alternatively use TWRP to flash it
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash dbi sdi.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash LOGO logo.bin
fastboot flash oppostanvbk static_nvbk.bin
Reboot and see if the SIM issue persists
I solved flashing the oxygen!

Messaging not working on XT1033

Messaging (Incoming & Outgoing) both are not working.
Previously I flashed the CM14 Alpha V4 by @Eurofighter_ty
along with 'Networkfix' and 'forcess', it was working fine but after applying V5 everything sucked.
Calls were not working so I decided to switch to Official CM13 for falcon. Now Messaging is not working on my phone. Please someone help me and thanks in advance.
I faced the same thing couple of days back... here is the solution... you have to flash xt1033 modem via mfastboot... link: http://d-h.st/uJCr
if you don't know what is mfastboot than read this carefully http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700502
to flash the modem file use these command...
mfastboot.exe flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
mfastboot.exe erase modemst1
mfastboot.exe erase modemst2
mfastboot.exe flash fsg fsg.mbn
