[Q] Google sync error - Calendar is empty...

Any idea why my Verizon S6 has said "sync error" for over a week for my Google account? It says "sync is currently experiencing problems".
My Calendar app is empty. Pretty sure it's the Google Calendar app. There are two apps named Calendar on the phone. I think the other is Samsung's, which I can't uninstall.
When I go into Calendar settings and tap "events from Gmail", it just spins.
Having no calendar is very bad. I would really appreciate any info.

No reminders from Google Calendar

I was having problems with the stock calendar app not picking up my reminders from my Google Calendar. Instead, I just installed the regular Google Calendar app however for some reason I am not getting any notifications for reminders. The reminders are definitely in the calendar, and I am notified on my other devices, however it does not seem to work on my Honor 8. Is there a setting I need to tweak to allow this?
Thanks.
Hi,
Do you have any issues with any other apps not showing notifications?
Cheers

Everyting else seems to work fine.
Is there any solution? I have exactly the same problem.
Make sure you allow calendar app full access in settings. I don't use a Google calendar app on this device. But reminders in my Google account and pushed through as well as my regular Calendar app.
This was on Android 6 and now Android 7..
Side note I also have Google Calendar sync up in Google account settings.. Check your setting to see if there similar to my ones..

"Go to bed early! You could use the sleep"

Hi,
Since the update to Oreo 8.0 an event called "Go to bed early! You could use the sleep" is created every day on my Google calendar. I believe it's the sleep app but I'm not sure and I don't know hoe to disable it, it's driving me crazy!
Anyone else had the same problem or knows what the cause is?
i've never seen that in my google calendar - are you using the built-in tru-sleep app of the watch or something else - if using tru-sleep is this linking to huawei health on phone as it should be

I linked Huawei health to my google and google fit accounts. I haven't gotten any calendar events created.

Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Calendar App

Hi everyone
Just got my new S3 Frontier. can anyone tell me how I can view future events on the calendar app.
I can scroll the through the next 27 days events but if I want to view or add an event say in 3 months time there does not seem to be any way to do it??
Seems daft that I can look at the calendar but not see my events etc in the future?
I must be doing something stupid as I cannot find anyone else in the history of the internet who has the same issue ?
please help...
Most of watch show just current day events, over show 1 week or 3 days. So if you have a month on Gear it is very well. It is just a quick method to see what happen next. Otherwise for total operation it is always a phone job.
Do more use more memory more time to transfer so more batt so not for a small wearable device

The watch isn't meant to replace a smartphone, I don't think. You can't surf the net or get to Google for example. For longer range activities you need a phone or computer and I'm good with that.
Assuming you are running tizen 3.0, go into the calendar app by launching the app or tapping the calendar widget. In the main screen of the calendar app on the watch, tap the three dots on the right side of the calendar screen. There should be an option called "create a new event"

Question Calendar app that works with Google

Hello
I went to Bixby to set a calendar event, but it said it's not supported, what app do I need in order to be able to create a calendar event from the watch?
