You can download Xwidget from the Play Store. There is a similar widget in their online collection.

Pixel Launcher is too limited in it's customization. I like being able to rearrange things in my app drawer. Also swipe down for notifications is too convenient.

It's slightly off center and all around terrible. I wan't to be able to click it and go to either the google weather or the calendar.

How much more different is that one compared to Weather Widget:donate or Beautiful Widgets?
They all look the same to me with minor difference.

one annoying thing is that weather widget does not display date/day! they put (today) which isnt of much use

I am currently using the digital clock widget and when I click on it, it will open the digital clock setting. I wonder if there is a way to change the link such that when I click on the widget, it will go to the alarm application instead.

If it doesn't have it in any type of settings menu, then no. Try looking for a different clock/widget/alarm in the market.

If you get beautiful widgets from the market, yes you can change the action of tapping the clock, date, and the weather.

It gives you the option of using whatever program you want when you tap each part. Fancy widgets may do that as well and it's free.

All above mentioned are good. There is an Xwidget that mirrors the native Samsung weather widget, just search for S8 weather widget in the Xwidget app and you'll find it.
Get KWGT and make your own. It's supper customization. The drawback is that some people might have trouble understanding how to do things with it.

I really like the Date and weather widget that comes stock in the Google Launcher on the phone. However, I've switched to using Nova Launcher because I like a couple of its features better. Is there any way I can get that widget on my homescreen?

Guys, try this one, its called chronus (Google Play store). Its free, I just bought weather icons for 1 $. I dont know why, but I cant attach screenshot... But its looks so much better then other apps.

Yes, it is built into the Nova settings. No need to download additional widgets. Just look for the Google search bar options and select the pixel style and enable weather display.
i would love to find the built in digital clock/date widget, i cannot find it in nova launcher, could you tell me how? i don't need the weather as a widget, just the time

It's all LG. The icons are part of the LG Home+ theme and the launch is the stock LG G7 ThinQ launcher. I grabbed a couple of screen shots of the theme from the LG Smart World app which has the name of the theme. It is called E&M Firefly Lamp. The Rainbow Garden theme also has similar icons.
Oh nice.. I didn't leave the stock launcher long enough to mess with it..

Now the wallpaper is one I have had for a while. I did download the eagle faith the flag from LG Smart World because I liked it because it's patriotic and I'm a veteran. They don't have as many themes and wallpapers on there for this phone as they do for the V30 but hopefully that changes.

Circular battery bar, clock that opens the clock app on tap, current 'feels like' temp, and a custom agenda widget that I designed to mimic Simple Calendar Widget after that stopped being reliable.
My actual widgets are in the quick page swiped in from the right and my apps are a vertical list swiped in from the left.
How are you guys getting the on screen buttons in your shots? *Found it*
