Can I get the default pixel date/weather widget in Nova launcher? - Google Pixel 2 Questions & Answers

I really like the Date and weather widget that comes stock in the Google Launcher on the phone. However, I've switched to using Nova Launcher because I like a couple of its features better. Is there any way I can get that widget on my homescreen?
Thanks!

Try: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.difer.weather

Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wangdaye.com.geometricweather and select the oreo widget in that

Guys, try this one, its called chronus (Google Play store). Its free, I just bought weather icons for 1 $. I dont know why, but I cant attach screenshot... But its looks so much better then other apps.

Yes, it is built into the Nova settings. No need to download additional widgets. Just look for the Google search bar options and select the pixel style and enable weather display.

i would love to find the built in digital clock/date widget, i cannot find it in nova launcher, could you tell me how? i don't need the weather as a widget, just the time

LauncherPro or Go Launcher?

I used to use LaucherPro, but today I switch to Go LaucherPro.
Its interface is much more beautiful. Also, it has some other amazing features: gestures, re-sizable widgets, customizable docks and home screens. However, what I like most is the custom app drawer. I like setting my own drawer background.
Cool Story Bro
Where do I get this Go LauncherPro from? I couldnt find it in the market. Is there a .apk to download? Is this app free?
Id like to know where to find it as well. I love Launcher Pro but I want to give something else a spin. I wasnt feelin ADW...

Hi, it is Go Laucher EX... I forgot the Ex...
Wow, I'm gonna go and have a peak at the thread!
Somehow LauncherPro felt more properly / professionally written.
Using the Plus version right now, when I tried other launchers (ADW.Launcher, Zeam Launcher, GO Launcher EX), I kept getting back to LauncherPro.
I prefer LauncherPro Plus for the homescreen design abilities:
* up-to 10x10 screen size
* resizable widgets
* option to overlap widgets (put a widget over other widget)

Google now launcher - Weather/Clock widget

I like the stock google launcher over touchwiz. I just noticed the default weather widget (with clock) is not listed when I have the Google Now launcher active. Is there a way around this? I know I can install xwidget or whatever, but seems weird I can't use a widget that already exists on the phone.

It's probably something specific/proprietary to TouchWiz. Check out Chronus:

I believe these guys are behind cLock, the badass time/weather/calendar widget in Cyanogenmod, only the Chronus install offers more variety.

Launchers and edge sense

Just got my solar red in. Just wondering what launcher everyone is using. I've always been on apex for the simplicity and stock android feel, but how's the sense launcher on the U11? How's edge sense working with other launchers? And is there a launcher that works with the weather clock widget?
I use Nova Launcher Prime, works great, in addition to Beautiful Widgets app for 5x2 weather/time widget.
Same here, Nova Launcher Prime~
Nova prime
Alternating between Nova Prime and HTC stock. I haven't decided yet........

I'm liking sense. But will probably try nova at some point
I go back and forth between Nova Prime and stock.
I, as well, and or between Sense and Nova launcher. When in Nova launcher, I use gestures to launch Google Now, and that leaves Edge Sense for my two most used apps; Camera and WhatsApp.
But I've been on HTC Sense launcher for quite some time.
I use Nova Launcher as well, theming it to mimic the Pixel Launcher and with he Pixel Icon Pack to make all icons rounded.
Another, lighter option if you like the Pixel UI is Lawnchair. You can use the same icon pack for completeness. And it also supports Google Now integration (so does Nova).
The big difference between the two is that Nova is more customisable, and Nova supports weather in the search widget which Lawnchair doesn't.

You can enable full Google Now integration within Nova Launcher, so that it becomes your left-most home screen.

I have a question, i want to use Pixel Launcher on HTC U11, got it, installed, everything ik except one thing, i cannot scale it. HTC sense can be normally scale in the settings to make it smaller but it does nto applie to piel launcher. Do you have any idea how can i make it smaller?

Adding an "App Drawer" icon to the default Pixel Launcher

Hi all,
I would love the ability to be able to add a simple "All Apps" icon in the center of the dock like the old GEL launcher had. I know that Nova and Action Launcher can do this, but I like the barebones aspect of the Pixel launcher and would like to continue using that. Does anyone know if this is possible? I know there used to be an application in the play store that would add this shortcut to the pixel launcher last year, but that app appears to have disappeared. (I know there are some third party app launchers in the play store, but none of them are blazingly fast)
Only with launcher, sry mate

Best workaround I could find, which is not really perfect but hey see screenshot
Download Nova launcher but don't set it as default. On pixel launcher, add a widget -> Nova action -> app drawer
You may have some few times you come back through Nova homepage this way when pressing home. Give it a try your self.
If I have some time I could see if there's a better way to do it by properly calling the app drawer..
So -- you can make Nova as bare bones as you want to. Any particular reason why you don't want to use Nova, configured to look and feel just like the Pixel launcher? It seems like the best option for what you want.
I know it doesn't replace a button, but tapping the arrow above the dock takes you to app drawer. How do you feel about this?

Remove "At a glance" from Pixel launcher?

Does anyone know how to remove "At a glance" from Pixel launcher?
I want to replace it with "Another Widget" as it supports multiple different calendar sources and has more customisation.
I really like the stock 3 Pixel launcher for everything else. I tried using Nova etc. and I didn't like them as much.
Try Customized Pixel Launcher [CPL], that's the way I went to get rid of that widget (AND the google bar in dock).

Yes it is pretty good!
But it doesn't support the stock gesture navigation very well
I've been using Lawnchair v2. It does all of that, and also let me change the number of rows and columns of icons, icon size, and handles legacy icons better.
I don't think you can remove the whole widget, but you can change it to only show the date and time by holding down on the homescreen, clicking "home preferences", and then deselecting everything in the at a glance section.

Which stock gesture navigation are you talking about? ? You mean the recent apps and switching between those? Because other than that, there is not much of gesture navigation on Pixel?
