Have you installed a program that could trigger the reboot? Maybe try a hard reset times when nothing else helps ...

HI,
Are you sure that new battery will solve the problem? actually have have gone through a couple of blogs and problem solving discussions over internet and they say that even the battery is replaced, the problem still remains. i am still not sure what the problem is
man your English is Excellent , i am from Sweden, happy neighbor
I've heard that's there a problem with some sim, but it seems that it won't happen randomly then. In this case (some new sim from swisscom), the Touch2 won't turns on.

this problem is really getting off my nerves now
Don't worry,I had this problem for a really long time before I solved it!
This problem has been proven to be battery-related.The only way out is to change the battery.
Do a little search, and you can find the answer!

I had the problem and I logged a problem ticket with HTC Service center at Malaysia..
Subject: HTC Touch2 Self-Power Off intermittently and unable to power on again via the Power button.
Desc: My Touch2 was purchased on 16-Nov 2009. It experiencing intermittent self-power off problem when phone was left ideal for couple of second! Secondly, the phone was intermittent "freeze" when charging with power adapter. For both cases, the phone cannot be turn on via the Power button. Must perform manual Reset to power on the phone each time. I performed FACTORY Reset 5 times already; disabled the Touch2Flo; disabled ALL auto power off.. yet it did not resolve the problem. [ROM Version: 1.28.707.3 (66092); Radio Version: 3.49.25.05; Protocol version: 61.42t.25.31H]
The service center called and they offered to change the motherboard. I had it changed unfortunately the problem still persist. And worst still the touch screen didn't not respone after a while. I sent to fix and waited for another 2weeks, and changed the 2nd motherboard. I'm been using the repaired phone for past 2monts WITHOUT any intermittent power off issue.. YIPPI!
P/s: My batt Serial No: 1GKA299KQQ4912. Part No: 35H0015-11M. The HTC repair report did not mentioned whether they change my batt nor I cannot confirmed whether it was the "-07M". Anyway, I'm glad that my nightmare is over for now
gooddd
Hey good that you fixed it somehow. At the time i was having that turnoff problem thing, i really felt like ****, but after reading your message, i feel better off
I start to hate HTC. %80 o HTC having same problem around
Yeah man...so truee...But after battery replace, it works perfect

u must have installed srs hd wow... remove that and insted use hd tweak to increase volume...srs hd makes the error///
After the JB update (to 4.1.1.), wifi keeps dropping, in the sense that I can still see the wifi signal on the status bar, is not grey, but no data packages are sent/received. What is weird is that many times I can get the wifi to work again by locking and then unlocking the screen, even though I have the wifi sleep policy set to never. Having it dropping all the time was a big annoyance, so I tried the tips regarding wi-fi routers settings (on 2 different connections) and different wi-fi settings (like having auto IP support on and avoid weak connections off, with stamina mode also off). Nothing changed.
I have done countless factory resets and software reinstalls through PC Companion and SUS and nothing changed, so I took it to the repair center where they downgraded my phone to ICS. Even though before my JB update my wi-fi worked like magic, now with ICS the wifi keeps dropping. I have done other factory resets and software reinstalls before updating my phone to the latest JB (4.1.2.). Again, no improvements.
What else can I do, besides rooting? Can it be a hardware issue?
Same, but you can get 4.1.1,what firmware name?
Send from Malaysia by Xperia J

Actually, I've checked and it seems I have tried the 11.0.A.7.5 firmware (ICS) and 11.2.A.0.21 and 11.2.A.0.31 (JB 4.1.2.).
sounds lika a hardware problem bro. If it was software problem then it would be a module problem which would be fixed by reflashing the kernel which is where the wifi modules are written. Do you have a ST26a or ST26i.

A ST26i (the global version of the phone). Thank you so much for your answer. So, the reflashing of the kernel is what happened when I reinstalled the software? The question sounds silly, but I'm a noob...
Also, I'm a girl...
Thank you again!

Yes thats why i think its a hardware problem flashing the firmware reflashes the kernel aswel so if it does not work after that then you will have to send it for repair.

Thanks for your explanation...now I hope the guys from the service will understand this issue...last time they only downgraded the software and overlooked the touchscreen issue for which I have sent them the phone (I had to send it again for repair afterwards).

It lagged really, really bad, making it unusable at times - so that was the second issue for which I have sent it at the service despite the wi-fi problem. After they have downgraded the software and the problem with the touchscreen persisted, I insisted to have them look to the phone a second time and they discovered they had to change the touchscreen. So that one is solved. The wi-fi issue I described remained Guess I'll pay them another visit....

If it is the wifi chip it can not be fixed as it is just a small chip on the motherboard i don't think it can be fixed. is it still under warranty.

Hello
I'm the proud owner of a Lenovo A850, really happy with it, but apparently, encountered an issue
Initially had official firmware on it, installed the latest by Linerty - works great
Problem is - there's a signal drop / weak signal on both of the SIMs used.
# Tried to change network mode (WCDMA or GSM only) - didn't improve in any way.
# SIMs are okay, i've tried them on another phone, they are not defective.
# No Data Connection used, don't need it on this phone.
Any suggestions, please?
Anyone else had this problem?
Thanks very much
------------------------
Problem isn't software (radio/modem) related, but a hardware fault. Needs to be taken to a service that specialises in dual-sim phones, they ought to know what to do.

Yes, on stock ROM too...sadly
Try flashing a new rom...
Solved it by taking the phone to a specialized Lenovo-phone service center. Didn't pay much and everything works great now!
You know what they changed in the phone?
Try to find out and share... there maybe other people searching for it in the future.
Also update the first post and change the title to solved...

Signal problem lenovoa850
I have been having this problem for quite some time, when I on wifi or Bluetooth (or both) the phone restarts for many times till it comes to a point where the wifi and Bluetooth is grayed out, I've reflashed the stock ROM, took it to service center but no luck. Please help.

That seems to me a lot like a hardware issue... Does it also happen when you turn on bluetooth (without WiFi)?
Sent from my taoshan using XDA Labs

same problem here
That sound strange .
I have got a little idea about it I don't know if its related to this issue.
It could be due to the network related different b/w c2105 and c2104.
So are you sure that you flashed the suitable ftf for your device.

Hello all,
Im asking for your help and advice since i looked and searched the problem and didnt find any solution and hope you guys will be able to help..
To make Long story short i updated the other day to the latest jgcaap linos 23rd..
Idk if thats connected but for some unknown reason my phone started to loose cellular internet and got wacky like loosing signal, resetting the network signal, etc.. finally resulting in restarts and bootloops every 5 or 10 minutes.. and when i took out my sim card the opo works ok.. can it be only a faulty SIM or maybe more of significant hardware related? And also how can i get more information on why causing the bootloops and fix the issue?
Sorry for the long message but please help me if you can..
Best Regards,
Ofer Becher
